Marcus nodded Kijani's point that they had no clue where the were or how long ago the ships crew left. "I don't think they want to imprison us." He said in reply when she remarked about being captured. "They are mercs... they will wanr to use us." He said. As Kijani talked to Warden about food Marcus thought back to one of the many times he worked with a group of mercenaries. ~~~~~ "Okay, Hatter, this is as far as we can get you." A man sitting in the passenger seat of a civilian vehicle said. The car came to an easy stop just before a bend in the road that lead to a large estate. "You are on your own from here." Marcus' door opened automatically and he stepped out of the car into the night air. As his door closed the car almost spun in place as it made a U-turn and hovered away down the forest road. Marcus waited until the car was out of site before walking up into the forest to start his trek. After a few minutes of hiking through the fake forest, in the distance he could see a yellow sign posted on a tree. 'Wow' he thought to himself. 'This guy must really miss the old world.' He continued hiking, but with more caution, looking for any signs of security. Much to his pleasure and surprise there was none until he reached the fence around the estate. It was an electric fence and on the other side he could count about four guards, three patrolling and one at a static post. From the intel he had received there should be twelve guards, which meant that there were most likely two units outside and one inside. "This will be fun." He whispered. ~~~~~ That was back when he didn't realize that he was being used as a tool rather than partner. Marcus didn't like that much, being a peace of equipment for someone else to use. Just because he was... different people thought they could do what ever to him, and those that did learned quick that he could be a right nasty person.
