What the fuck, this is the south, it’s not supposed to snow here. I can’t even get out my door because the snow’s so high, send help please.

How much snow do you have that you can't get out the door? We have almost two feet on the ground right now (and we're supposed to get at least another 8 inches before the day is out) and I can get out the door just fine. lol

Kannapolis, North Carolina. We’re near the bottom of the state, and it rarely snows, even in the winter.

The south lacks salt trucks and snow plows, don't mock our pain.

Lucky for us, we didn't get snow, just that one day where it almost sleeted. (is that proper grammar? idk)

Not even that much, but because we're not used to it we can't really get rid of it. I think we've got about 8 inches right now, but we're bound to get more due to the fact that it's coming down really hard.

No, no -- I understand that you're not equipped the way we New Engalnders are for general snow removal, but I was surprised to see you put that you couldn't get out your door. (Which I took as a somewhat literal comment.) So I was confused by how much snow it would take to make you (quite literally) housebound. Even with the amount of snow we currently have here, it's relatively powdery at the moment, so a door can just push it aside without too much trouble. (It should be fine until we start getting the sleet later on to coat the snow, which will make it much heavier and harder to shift.)

8 inches is a fairly respectable amount of snow for a southern state. Hopefully it'll melt quickly for you guys.

Snow is like God's jizz on the face of the Earth. It comes when no one expects and takes forever to go away

In central Alberta, they don't use salt because it gets too cold to work. Not that I necessarily mind, since the salt back in Ontario literally ate my Impala into an early grave. I liked that car, too...

This winter's been crazy here. November and December were endless snow that was impossible to keep up with and some brutally cold days. January was extremely mild and sunny with barely any snow. February has been really friggin' cold with very little snow, maybe a few centimetres?

Either way, I am so done. Gimme spring. I want to go paintballing and camping in Jasper.

Well, the snow here’s fairly hard, so we literally can’t get the door open even though there isn’t much blocking it.

Touche. XD It is an ironic point of pride to proclaim our winters are worse than your winters.

Just fuckin' ram it and then shovel it immediately. Last thing you want is that all turning into ice and making life a slippery, miserable concussion arena.
