@Zorogami @GingerBoi123 Strange, at first I thought it might just have been my phone but it doesn't show up on my laptop either... The fact it's working for you both is even stranger. Curious.

EDIT: Now it's working, love the picture.

@Zorogami Yeah real strange that. I'm guessing it's some kind of technical hitch because I can see the image in the post where I quoted your CS but not in the original. Also, I was actually on idrawgirls earlier looking at concept art, awesome stuff there.

@POOHEAD189 You can make a character using the watered down CS in the first post and the ones that fit the concept the most will be the first to join any others will be short listed to when more players are recruited (if they still wish to join). Looking forward to reading your CS.

@Zorogami Strange that alright, no harm done though!

I have been rattling my brain all day trying for a new idea. But nothing really comes to mind except this pure support character.

Name: Sophia Pax aka "The Red Witch"

Age: 20

Appearance:

Sophia Pax stands about 5 foot 5 inches tall. She has brown hair and matching brown eyes. However, whenever she channels magic her eyes change from brown to a glowing gold color. She wears primarily leather armor to maximize mobility on the battlefield but she does have a little plate mail covering her torso and down left side to give at least some protection to her.

Class: Seeker- To most she is just a talented archer and honestly she likes it that way. However, her power and skills are much more. She also has a great knowledge of herbology. She can identify plants for use in poisons or healing elixirs. She originally got the title the red witch because she crafts potions on her free time.

Weapon(s):
A longbow
steel tipped arrows x40

Armor/Clothing: She wears primarily leather armor to maximize mobility on the battlefield but she does have a little plate mail covering her torso and down left side to give at least some protection to her. When in armor she does not wear a skirt but pants like any man. When she is not in combat, she does however enjoy dresses. She primarily wears a bright, warm red dress, but she can occassionally be seen in cool earth tones.

Name: Sorja the Swift (Sor-ya)
Alias: "Blue Fox"

Age: 25

Appearance:

About 5' 4" tall, with skin that borders on chocolatey (mmm, Hershey's). While not being too terribly large, or at all physically imposing, he's wiry, he's tough, and he's trained. He has unusually dark blue eyes, with a perpetually calm and relaxed expression, however bright and clever his eyes may be.

He has mildly untamable dark brown hair, and a thin, narrow build.

Class:
Rogue/Thief/Assassin

Sorja is a fleet-footed rogue, light on his feet, with above-average instincts and reactions. He knows how to kill, how to pickpocket, how to throw, even how to use a bow, but is best with dagger or shortsword, and can move unseen in most environments and times.

Weapon(s): Two long knives- more like shortswords- that are seen in the image. They're both made of a rare black metal that has no name, because of how rare it is. He also has an assortment of throwing knives throughout his body, and four throwing axes. His shortswords have their own scabbards at either hip, but his throwing axes are over-the-shoulder, with two on each side. He uses them for both melee and ranged combat, and is known to be better with his axe than with most career archers' arrows.

Armor/Clothing: He generally wears what's commonly known as his "moody shit." Black, multi-layered silk with a layer of thicker fine cloth over it forms a light armor of sorts. Dark blue fabric- not dissimilar to his eyes- accents it, and he wears custom blue-steel armguards and greaves.

Class: Seeker- To most she is just a talented archer and honestly she likes it that way. However, her power and skills are much more. She has the ability to use elemental and nature magic to augment her attacks. While she likes to keep it low key, She can use magic to imbue her arrows with fire, ice, or lightning. She also uses magic to increase the likelihood her arrows will hit vital spots. She also uses her magic to suddenly buff allies and debuff foes. Almost all of her magic requires a short prayer like incantation and a bow to cast properly. She also has a great knowledge of herbology. She can identify plants for use in poisons or healing elixirs. She originally got the title the red witch because she crafts potions on her free time.

The only thing about this CS that I'm not sure about is the magic. It's just that I'm not sure if elemental, buffs, debuffs and all that is really the style that I see going forward, but at the same time I'm totally teetering on the edge because come on... Magic is pretty cool. What I really like about "The Red Witch" is the whole herbalist aspect with poisons and elixirs. One thing I actually am not too fond of is dictating what characters can and can't do but I just really don't feel at this time that style of magic (elemental, buffs, debuffs etc.) fits, and if it were to be incorporated would be done so with a Mage or Wizard class that doesn't rely on another classes abilities/weapons/fighting style.

The only other thing concerning me is that there seems to be a pattern and little diversity in characters in respect to style of class. Like the two berserkers etc. because it adds an extra level of difficulty in picking the right characters for the beginning.

HOWEVER, don't get me wrong, I love all the characters I've seen but I just think the previous points outweigh that at the moment.

@SmileyJaws you make a fair point. I envisioned keeping her actual magic a secret until desperate times, but I am more than willing to drop it all togather. It would honestly give me more room to focus on her herbology for this character. I am going to edit out her magic.

@MarsAdept Thank-you and please don't be offended by this because it isn't intended to offend anyone, simply to fit with the RP itself and the style of fantasy. As I said, I think it's great character.

There's another rogue/assassin?
I thought there was just two berserkers and two archers (even if one of the archers is a mage)

@WilsonTurner No, not that there is another rogue/assassin just that the variation isn't huge although honestly it isn't a big deal!

Aye, I just don't know what else to do. I mean, I guess I could be a healer? But being sneaky is better than healing! I'll run away, quietly, while you all die :DD

Darius has skill with swords, axes and polearms, but lacks in weapons that require finesse.

The only thing I'd like to point out is that polearms and swords require a bit of finesse, swords most definitely. Polearms are just sorta awkward- you either stab with the spearpoint, or slash with the axehead- and using them effectively is a little harder than with an axe, since polearms are usually much longer. Well, depending on the type of polearm- some are long staffs with blades at the end, and that still requires finesse.

@WilsonTurnerI get what you mean, but with a berserker, it's less finesse and more swinging faster and harder xD. By skill, I don't mean he excels with them, it's just the ones he use better. By finesse, it's more technical moves.

Aye, but a battleaxe, greatsword or broadsword, or mace/warhammer would serve better than a polearm or sword. Berserkers are rather large, and... they are not as fast as an average-sized skilled swordsman. More mass = harder to move = longer to move the same distance as a smaller person. Muscle, to a point, equals speed, but after that point, it gets slower.

Polearms and swords are more effective when they aren't being used as hammers. Polearms can do a wider variety of attacks, with a much longer reach. This weapon is obviously requiring greater strength than the average, since the blade is at the very end and it can be heavier than a normal blade, but it'd still require a good deal of skill as well.
