I think it'd be safe to assume that all the Pits Ra's had knowledge of are now in Talia's possession, so to speak. As mentioned in the CS for Talia she's utilizing them for her own gain at the moment, so she's keeping all known Lazarus Pits under lock and key with high security detail. There's something like five still in existence in canon, one of which is in Gotham, another in an undisclosed location (allegedly in Nyssa Raatko's possession), with the last three in Australia, Tibet, and the Himalayas. I figured there's not much reason to deviate from the established mythos at this time, barring any new Pits being discovered in-game.

• Interrogation: While Batwoman does a lot of physical intimidation and violent interrogation work, she wouldn't torture or deliberately maim people.
• Intimidation: Kate can leverage her considerable presence, her excellent training in psychology and interrogation, being obviously willing and able to hit people really really hard, suddenly shifting toward protectiveness, etc. to achieve remarkable results.
• Gadgetry: Kate is adept in the art of tinkering with things both mechanical and electronic.
• Computer Hacking: Kate is capable of hacking and some basic programming, but more importantly, of keeping her own computers and gadgets from being hacked or traced.
• Stealth: Kate is a master of stealth, as noted by Batman, being so good that even Supergirl didn't notice her, even with her advanced hearing.

Weaknesses: Cardiac Weakness: During a previous confrontation with Intergang, Kane was stabbed in the heart by Bruno Mannheim. Since then, despite therapy and a healthy recovery, scarring remains and she is not as good as she might otherwise be.
History: The daughter of a pair of career soldiers, Kate often moved across the world as they were posted to different places. However, while they were living in Belgium, she was forced to bear the trauma of watching her mother and twin sister being executed by terrorists serving the Religion of Crime.

In an attempt to please her father, Kate entered the United States Naval Academy in order to train as a Marine officer. However, while at Annapolis she entered into a relationship with her room-mate, leading to her dishonourable discharge. Her father did not hold this against her, however, considering it more important that she had chosen not to lie in order to save herself.

Her father eventually married weapons heiress Catherine Hamilton. This new wealth established Kate as a socialite in Gotham City's upper crust. She became notorious for her partying and drinking.

One night after a party, she was pulled over by officer Renee Montoya. Instead of being fined for drink driving, the two entered in a relationship. They broke up when Renee told her she had no direction in her life, no education, and no apparent goal. She found her purpose soon enough: when she was confronted by a mugger in an alleyway, she was saved by Batman.

She decided to become a vigilante too. With her father's help, she travelled all over the planet for two years to learn how to fight. Her father used to family fortune and connections to come up with experimental weaponry.

Since some people don't "rate" a Talon (sorry, nothing personal--my Huntress won't be getting one if it makes you feel better ) I thought one way to spread the love is to have characters already in a scene when one of the other characters gets attacked. So one character that "rates" a Talon, paired with someone that doesn't, is the basic premise.

I promise I won't make it a habit to dictate your scenes for you, but at the start of this I will to get things quickly moving.

I only included one Villain and none of the Neutrals. I have something else working for the Neutrals, if they're interested (check your PMs), and the Villains have their marching orders. (If the Villains ST and the rogues wanted to start their own side arc together, no complaints here: group PMs are wondrous things.)

So, when you say rates, you mean they've got a target on their head for a Talon to swoop down and attack, correct? ;o And the one that doesn't rate comes swooping in to assist, or swoops in at the wrong time, wrong place? I think the idea is that the characters who "rate" a Talon are gonna be Gotham's heavy hitters, so to speak, so anyone who is considered a serious threat to the agenda of the Court of Owls is a target. This probably would mean that the vigilantes of the "green" variety are not targets of the Talons but could easily get caught up in the fray of a Talon attack if they happen to be in the vicinity of the characters who are targets. That said, the youngin's could happen upon an attack in progress and intervene or they could be chatting it up with one of the targets when a Talon suddenly attacks. That's the way I took it, anyways.

Ooh, alright. I get it now. Sorry, it's like 2am and I'm fuzzy at the moment. Okay, yeah, looking back I can definitely see who'd be considered a heavy hitter and a greenhorn. That'll be interesting, though, and I'm definitely interested to both participate and see how other scenes start and develop. ;o
