So for a character I was thinking someone with dream based powers, When her powers are active the boundary between reality and dreams is blurred for the most part this is like a hallucination and if injuries are sustained in this dream no injuries will happen in real life. but some things seem to contradict the hallucination hypothosis such as people "waking up" a long distance away. Basically when this character shows up and uses her power things get weird.

As a weakness her grasp of reality is starting to slip, her dreams are indistinguishable from reality and reality is indistinguishable from a dream She still tries to behave normally but as her sanity slips and reality falls apart that gets harder and harder. Her nightmares also sometimes get dragged in with her dreams.

I can see some similarities, but some differences as well such as in level of control and how the senses are effected, your character has control over how the senses are effected right? mine induces a dreamstate which she has less control over.

@Lucidnonsense Christi pretty much can take complete control of the sensory parts of the brain, so that person becomes completely convinced that what they are seeing/feeling/whatever is completely real. Plus she can just turn off their senses to really fuck them up. Her catch is that everything she does happens to her as well. For example, the first time she used her power to escape from her brother, she turned off his sense of balance so that he wouldn't get close to her. Not long after her own sense of balance went away as well.

Right now she's making it so that Danny and Eli aren't seeing her. If she looked up, she wouldn't be able to see them either, though all three of them can still hear each other. She's also going to have a reall splitting headache soon.

I guess that is pretty similar, Still has some differences, yours is more controlled Mine is more chaotic and unpredictable and your "Cost" seems to be while using the power and mine is more about the long term effects and even when not using the power difficulty in determining what is a dream and what is reality.

@Lucidnonsense I'm afraid I have to agree with Thunder. It's too similar. You're more than welcome to use another power though. I'd be more than happy to offer some suggestions.

Well I misread. I apologise. But at the same time, I personally would rather not have two people with the same sort of power. It's just caused problems in other games I've been in is all.
