Jayden shrugs, "Whatever you say Fabine. I could argue my point in debate form you'd still find a way for me to be wrong." The brawler looks over at him one more time before focusing his attention on the trek back.
Jayden didn't want to argue with Fabine anymore. It was a waste of energy, especially since Jayden knew he was right. He didn't need to have the last word. He simply wanted to get back to camp.

Nadia reaches her stash in a few moments. She holds the rabbit glances around for a nice spot to begin skinning the animal. She spots a smooth rock a number of feet away.
She sits down and lays the rabbit next to her. Nadia pulls her knife out once more and sets to work. She was so focused on prepping the rabbit that she didn't pay as much attention to her surroundings.

The sight of her fellow Rabins quickly brought a smile to Aya's face. "Sacha! Selena! How are you guys?" She badly wanted to ask Sacha her questions but the sight of blood on Sacha's shoulder quickly shifts her focus. She rushes to Sacha's side. "What on earth happened? I was gone for what, a couple of hours?" Her eyes run over Selena as well, checking if both of them are injured.

Marik pads further forward and searches the area. An unfamiliar woman comes into his sight. Some unaffiliated person most likely. That kind were rarely familiar with battle or likely to undertake it. He felt inclined to leave with no desire for conversation but stopped himself for a moment to observe the woman's actions. She was skinning her caught rabbit with skill he didn't often see. Perhaps there was more to her than he first thought.

Fabine snorts in response. "Whatever you say Jayden." He mocks then shifts, flying back to camp, leaving the brawler behind. He didn't really care what happened to Jayden at this point, he was too mad. He angles his wings and spots the camp, flying that way. He sighs, imagining how much grief he would get from Evelyn. He rolls his eyes. It's her own fault if she's worrying. I'd never just roll over and die.

Sacha sighs. "Broms, what else?" She shakes her head a bit and chuckles. "Almost half a day I believe." She tilts her head. "Surprised to see you this far from camp. Aren't most of your herbs closer to the town?" Her eyes darken. "You didn't see any other Broms crossing the river or trying to start anything did you?? I sure wouldn't put it past them, especially if Fabine was just keeping us busy..." She frowns and glances around, half expecting an ambush of some kind.

Selena shook her head at Aya.
"I'm fine, focus on her," she said nodding to Sacha.
She let out a sigh, still kicking herself a little.
Maybe I'll tell her some other time she thought before turning towards camp.
"I'll see you later," She sajd to Sacha with a brief smile, "Try not to injure yourself anymore. I don't want to save you all the time."
Yes I totally do she thought, her thoughts glaring at each other as they disapproved of that one.

Evelyn narrowed her eyes when she saw the owl circling overhead, her fear instantly transforming into anger at her stupid boyfriend.
"Fabine, get your ass down here, you reckless, idiotic prat!" She roared in a voice completely unsuited to her small body.
Her hands were on her hips, her eyes were wild with fury, and her mouth was set in an angry grimace. All in all, not somebody you wanted pissed at you.
"You stupid asshole, what were you thinking getting in a fight with Sacha?" She snapped at him.

Fabine groans to himself and flies down, landing on top of a tent, out of reach. He rolls his eyes. "I'm not going to discuss this with you until you calm down Evelyn." He says calmly, preening his feathers. "And in case you can't tell, I am perfectly fine, uninjured in fact." He snorts a bit. "I told you I need to kill that leader of theirs. You know that's all I want." He exhales and yawns. "Now stop being angry at me."

Nadia eyes the rabbit as she works, careful not to get blood all over herself. She soon has the skin and body separate. She rises to her feet and wipes her hands off on her pants, before turning to look around her. She should start a fire. I'll need to find firewood and kindle... She thinks to herself. Nadia focuses her attention to her surroundings once more before setting off to gather supplies. Something seemed off, it was too quiet. She narrows her eyes slightly.

Jayden watches his leader fly off with a huff. "He's so dense sometimes," He huffs. He pauses and stands still for a moment, listening to the forest's sounds. It was rather peaceful. He decides not to head back to camp just yet in order to calm down from the entire ordeal Sometimes I wonder why I'm even a Brom. Fabine really pushes it, The brawler thinks to himself. Jayden lashes his tail as he continues making his way through the trees, heading towards a stream that was nearby.

Paisley resisted the urge the laugh at the hilarious situation but then she realized it wasn't funny at all. Evelyn had almost cried because of it. She slipped into the healers tent after sending a nasty look towards Fabine. It was a look of 'Stop making my friend worried or I will kill you.' All this was done from behind Evelyn of course. When she was inside the tent, she smiled at the boy who had mysteriously appeared, "Destin! Where were you?" She sat down on a cot comfortably. Curiousity was written all over her face.

Destin smiles back at her. "Oh..I was off getting some herbs. You know. I just...got distracted is all." His mind flits to Aya, hoping she made it back to her own camp safely. Shaking his head, he turns his attention to Paisley. "Alright, so looks like you got injured?" He frowns at the amount of blood. "This better not be all yours!" He comments, grabbing some herbs and beginning to mash them in a pestel.

Well that was suspicious... Paisley thought as she watched Destin stumble for words. The Brom girl leaned forward, her eye brows raised teasingly, "Out having fun with your secret girlfriend?" Of course she knew there was no such thing but it was fun to tease the kid. She then shrugged off her jacket and shook her head, "No. It isn't all mine." In fact, 80% of it was from a random stranger that just so happened to be Fabine's brother... Her though made her smile.

Destin's face flushes. "She's not my girlfriend!" He then gasps and clamps his hands over his mouth, paling visibly. He quickly begins examining her wound, trying to not draw attention to his outburst. His heart races as he gently cleans her wound, his hands shaking. He uses a clean cloth and wipes the blood from her shoulder. "W..who else's blood is it?" He asks, before rubbing the herbs across the wound, not bothering to warn Paisley that it was going to sting.

Paisley let out a hiss at the sting of pain. Her eyes were wide at this point. Had she accidentally hit a land mine with her off the wall comment? She certainly hadn't expected that sort of responce. The blush was normal but the outburst? And who was she? Paisley watched him clean her wound and a slow grin worked its way across her lips, "Tell me what that was about, or who that was about, and I'll tell you who's blood this is. I was planning on keeping it a secret but since you seem to be hiding something as well..."

Destin shakes his head. "N..no that's okay." He stammers quietly, before beginning to wrap her wound. "Alright I want you to take it easy. No heavy lifting, no running. Come to me if there's a burning or itching pain, or if it starts to bleed again. If nothing's wrong, come see me in two days and I'll clean it out again and get a fresh bandage." He then sighs. "I can't help the person if you don't tell me who it was." He looks at her.

Paisley smiled at him softly. It he didn't want to talk to her then that was fine. It seemed to be a sensitive matter anyways, "You can't help him now Destin. He's in the hospital in town. I took him there because he was dying. But it's sweet of you for caring." She tested her shoulder and then get down off the cot.

Destin blinks. "It wasn't a Brom was it?" He then shakes his head a bit. "Thanks for not pushing me Paisley. I'll...I'll tell you if it gets more serious alright?" He half-hopes she wouldn't remember that later, if things with Aya did continue, which they probably wouldn't. He then frowns. "Wait, if it were a Brom you'd tell me, so you saved...a Rabin? A Neither?" He bounces a bit, now super curious. "Why can't you tell me??"

Paisley chuckled and turned to him, "More serious? She sounds like a girlfriend to me." She stretched her other arm and sighed, "He wasn't a Brom or a Rabin or a neither. He was just a boy who didn't listen to the rumors about the monsters in the woods. He almost had his arm chewed off because he was curious." Paisley shrugged, her face unworried, "I don't know. I just feel like I shouldn't. You could say that it's a delicate situation."

Destin sighs heavily. "Okay...I hope he's okay. With as much blood as he seems to have lost, must have been a nasty...bite?" He tilts his head. "Weird, usually our groups fight each other, not random people coming into the woods...do you know who attacked him? Do we need to warn Fabine?" He watches her stretch her arms.
