If the kobold does try to move away, Brannor will use his reaction on the opportunity attack, @Hekazu.

That would be a Readied action and Lay on Hands is an action on it's own. Brannor has not yet obtained the feat that'd let him strike enemies like that, but if nothing else the kobold will be disadvantaged thanks to someone being in melee range when they try to shoot. Or if they'll try to run, the warrior will get their opportunity attack as usual.

That is what I meant - that the reaction will be used to make an opportunity attack of the kobold attempts to leave, @Hekazu. I did not recall the disadvantage component until just now having read the section on page 195. I am mostly expecting it to break and run after what is going on.

Ah, I must have read that wrong in some way then. Pardon the confusion @The Harbinger of Ferocity. And the disadvantage rule is something I personally have come into contact many times, something that comes packed together with favouring spellcasters as my character archetype.

Now it would be Trear's turn to do their thing. @VKAllen, your call! If you want to, you will be able to reach the alleyway where the hooded guy went to now that you have began moving in said direction. Do PM me if you do, so that I can tell you what's over there to be seen.

As do I. I've been drafting the defaulted action in case it comes to that, and thus far I believe Miss/Mrs. Oakfell will be chasing the hooded figure, ending their move at the corner of the streets and looking for their mark. Shooting if needed.

On another note, have any of you heard of this TRPG called Chthonian Highways? I myself got acquainted with the system last weekend at Ropecon, it's Mad Max like Road Warriors in a Lovecraftian post-apocalypse. If there was someone to host such a game, I'd be sure to try it again. I unfortunately do not have the time and resources to lead a campaign myself... Affirmative. If you guys want to have a specific order for posting OOC (like having someone do something before the other) you can always have the discussion OOC so that not having time for a full post right now won't take away your chances to do something just because somebody (and not their character) happened to be faster. Just a reminder as I don't think this has been a problem thus far.

I shall also be using this post as a way of paging @VKAllen. We haven't heard of them in a good while actually. I much prefer a livelier OOC environment as well and as far as I've observed a livelier OOC leads to a 'healthier' (as in not dying) game.

This means, however, that we will need to find an additional member. Adding them may take some time, so Trear Oakfell has now become an NPC under the DM's control and will leave the party once the keep is reached, at which point a new party member is (hopefully) introduced. Without further ado, the RP is now looking for an additional adventurer!

EDIT: We also have the first potential applicant for the vacant spot. I'll try and get Trear a post up tomorrow.

Is this still open? I've only done dnd in rl but Im interested in doing it online as well. I play 5e and my group just started a new campaign, so I have a lvl 1 dragonborn cleric I could use.

@dragonmancer That would be the fifth member, the maximum for the bunch if I count in the person I've only been in PM contact with so far... although there was this one person too... A ready to use character is a plus though and the party could really use a cleric. I'd say you've got a pretty good shot at it if your character is fitting to our current requirements (listed in the first OOC post).

I do not have the char sheet with me now atm, as I left it with my friend who gms most of the adventures, however were playing another game tonight so I should be able to translate it and show you the details later today.

We did roll for stats when I made him, I don't know the exact numbers but I recall the modifiers being:

+3 strength
+1 dex
+3 consitution
+1 intel
+2 wisdom
+0 char

However I'm not entirely certain if it was +1 or +o intel, and +3 or +2 constitution.
This was after we applied the racial bonus.

Yeeeeeah, rolling is not something I like. Luckily enough the stat array is easy to check when it comes to seeing whether it fits the point buy system, so I'll take a look at it once you get the actual character sheet in your hands.
