There is a complocation in the way of our heroes, that much I can tell. I have been waiting to see if our remaining two participants had anything to add, but silence is a tough answer to decipher.

Yeah sorry for being silent. I had an accident recently so I’ve been out of commission, but I’ll try and post as soon as possible. A lot has happened so I have a lot to work with.

My advice would be to punch through and massacre the apparent leader first, hitting them with what we have until they go down while cutting down the others if they attempt to stand in the way; an all or nothing. The entire camp cannot be fought off and the camp itself is burning, meaning they risk losing some relative amount of it to fire. Either they pursue us, the slaves, or deal with the fire, or split some number of their forces to do so, meaning it is less likely they will manage an efficient chase. I reason they might be more concerned with the fire and us, but however many slaves fleeing are a fair distraction as well, especially if they do start to scatter in a panic.

Either way, Brannor's initiative is 14. Unless you have other plans of action in mind, the goal from the paladin is to kill the most dangerous foe as fast as possible and as efficiently as possible by massing all of the group together so no one is really left out to be stopped or grabbed.

Oh boy, a fight! I don't know about the rest of you but Kyra wants to spill some cultist blood. Her initiative is 17 and would have been hiding when the alert went out. Should I roll a stealth to see if anyone has spotted her?

To be hiding at that time (effectively at least) would have required slowing down. As the party was hurrying along, that would have been a tough thing to do. However, it might still have been possible. Please roll for stealth at disadvantage, if you seek to do so. Once we move into combat, Hide action is available as per usual, without said drawback too. If the character's location is appropriate for hiding, of course.
