Alli is a very approachable person, as evidenced by the bright smile that she sports daily. “Now the party don’t start, till I walk in!”

When you think about typical rich kids, Alli may fit that archetype very well.

Pampered, spoiled, and conceited, Alli never had a want for anything. Everything she could possibly want was at her fingertips, and if it wasn’t, that was nothing a little cash couldn’t handle. I’m sorry, did I say a little? I meant a lot. Monetary value meant little to her, as she always had enough money to throw around. Living the life of a materialistic girl was hard. Come on, you guys all underestimate how difficult it is to have the newest technology and trendy clothing all the time.

Back when she was a teenager, she was more concerned with her social life more than anything. She was an avid partier, spending her weekends dancing her butt off and drinking beverages that shouldn’t be consumed by a minor. Ditching class was something she did on a daily basis, but she was smart enough not to fail them. In most of high school, she did just enough work to pass all of her classes. She wasn’t dumb by any means, but simply didn’t care about her grades.

However, that was the past. After a certain turning point in her life, Alli decided to change her life for the better. Although she won’t turn down a party invitation, she’s a lot more restrained than she was as a teenager. She finally understands the value of money and education, and is determined to make a successful living for herself.

Her bubbly, enthusiastic cheerleader persona carried over to her adulthood. She likes to have fun with her students, trying to make a potentially boring class as exciting as possible. Alli tries to be approachable, and she loves interacting with everyone. She wants to be more of a friend, rather than a teacher to everyone. A hard worker now, she spends a lot of her personal time preparing for classes.

However, on occasion, it may seem as if Alli is trying a bit too hard to make things fun, to be happy. This isn't the same sense as when people smile to hide their inner sorrow. It's more of a desperate attempt to keep herself in line. Selfishly, Alli tries so hard to make things fun more for her own sake, rather than her students at times. She needs to find that spark in life again, to keep her away from trouble. She finds peace and satisfaction in teaching, but peace is boring. Living a dull life has never been the life for Alli, and she struggles to keep herself from making the same mistakes as before. She doesn't regret giving up her partying ways, but she sure misses it sometimes.

On lonely nights in particular, Alli has a tendency to drink, and drink, and drink. She gave up drugs, partying, and other things, but she uses alcohol to keep her sane, to keep her from going insane from too boring of a life. However, this still terrifies her. What if she messes up again? What does she do then?

History
Alli is a Caelbury Academy alumni, being a senior at that school only six years prior.

During her high school life, Alli didn’t care about school. Why would she? She could have anything she wanted in life by using money, and she was confident in her looks as well. The only thing she actually involved herself in school was with sports: Volleyball, and cheerleading. And even then, she ditched practice a lot, like she skipped classes to sneak out of the campus.

Yup, Alli, prestigious high school teacher used to cut class. Actually, her sense of morality was a little skewed, and she would drink, smoke, and was kind of loose. You only live once, right? She was having fun! It’s not like she had to go to classes or practice though, she could already do everything, so what’s the point? She did just enough to pass, and her parents didn’t particularly care about her grades anyway.

That all changed at the summer before her senior year.

One weekend, Alli was at her home, sick and unable to go to her friend’s party. At first she was disappointed and would’ve snuck out, but she really was sick, with a high fever and everything. Then later, Alli found out that a bunch of her party friends got arrested at that party. The cops came over to investigate her friend’s mansion after numerous complaints about the music, only to discover a bunch of stoned, drunk teens.

That scared her. A lot. If she wasn’t sick on that day, she would’ve been arrested alongside them. That caused her to reconsider her lifestyle and choices, and realize how stupid she was being. Alli went to her teachers for help, finally admitting that she made numerous mistakes and she didn’t know how to dig herself out of this. Her teachers were caring and understanding, offering their advice and support.

And it worked. Alli began to maintain a perfect attendance record, achieve the rank of cheerleading captain, and managed to make the A honor roll in the rest of her high school career. Thanks to her teachers, Alli was able to actually do something with her life, and that probably saved her from being arrested, or god forbid, even worse.

When Alli went to college, she was determined to repay Caelbury Academy somehow. Deciding to be a teacher after being inspired by the people who changed her life, she studied history and returned to Caelbury. Now life is perfect... Well, almost perfect. Now, if only she can find a boyfriend!

There is however, one event in particular that has in a way, made a bigger impact upon her than her big turnaround. She never talks about it, but something happened in college. Something that made her reevaluate her life once again, and has affected her deeply. The experience has traumatized her to some extent, and everything she does in recent years is to stave off anything even remotely close to that.

"Oh my gosh, I can't even begin to tell you how much he means to me. When I was a senior and decided to turn my life around, he was a new teacher there, and part of the founding family to boot! When I went to him to see if there was anything I could do about my physics grade, not only did he help me in that class, he literally went and did everything he could to help me, including tutoring, college applications and recommendations, even life lessons. We had just met, and he had no doubt heard of my reputation, and probably had more important things to do, but despite all that, he still believed in me.

I'm so happy to be able to work with him now--Although it's a little weird to call him Hayden now, instead of Mr. Hawthorne--because he was the person I wanted to thank the most. I'll do whatever I can to repay him. And he's Vice Principal now! It was surprising, but there's nobody better for that job. He really thinks the best of everyone... Except maybe Acacia's future boyfriends! Hahaha!

It's a shame he's not interested in me. Just kidding! Anyways, Acacia told me something interesting... Heh heh heh, you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?"

Acacia Hawthorne
"Acacia is every teacher's dream! Seriously, she contributes, does well, and works hard. She is literally the exact opposite of me when I was her age. Ooh, that makes me sound old.

I've once heard that the Hawthorne's are a family to be afraid of, but judging from Acacia and Hayden, they're really nice people! She's his little princess in a way, and I think she really needs that.

We have little girl talks outside of the classroom, it's so fun. But I worry about her, she just seems a little too mature at times. While it's important to grow up, its also important to you know, let loose and be a teenager. But the look in her eyes are of a much older, pained woman sometimes. Maybe I should ask Hayden about it."

"I've heard from the other teachers about how he always falls asleep, or ditches class completely. If I didn't see his attendance records, or that Hitler mustache on his face--Did Flynn really draw that?! He doesn't seem like the type...--I wouldn't have believed them! August is always present and alert in my class, and he's so sweet. I just want to hug him tight and never let go! I heard he's a great swimmer too.

But Hayden is rather hard on the poor boy. From my experiences with Hayden, he probably really cares that August does well, but I can't help but wonder if the fact that August is always following Acacia around had anything to do with it!

He's capable of working hard and succeeding, I know it. He just needs an incentive, that's all."

"Hahahahahahaha! Oh, I'm sorry, I don't mean any offense but pfft, our first meeting was so funny. He thought that I was a student! The expression he had when he found out that I was a teacher was priceless. It's nice to know that I can still pass for a teenager!

He's such a good kid, but there's a shadow. I don't know him that well, but everyone knows of that... Incident. Something is eating away at him, and it's so painful to see Jacob go through that. If its hard for me, imagine how much harder it must be for him. I'd love to help him, but some things you can't force to resolve. I'll give him space, but if he ever wants to come talk to me, I will do anything in my power.

I haven't talked to him since our strange meeting. I hope I didn't scare him off!"

"Ms. Multilingual. Seriously, how does she do that? I've dabbled in French and Spanish, and it took me like 10 years for me to be even slightly fluent in French. I'd love to know how her brain works... Not that it would help, neuroscience isn't my field of expertise.

What's that saying that's been all over the Internet.... 'I will seduce you with my awkwardness'? Yeah, that's the one. I feel like it is so true in her case. Her social awkwardness just endears her to everyone.

She's such a hard worker, she'll do great things in life. Oh, and I wonder if she'll translate some stuff for me? Google translate is just bad."

"Oh Rayne... I honestly don't know what to do about her. She's incredibly smart, and I think that a school like Caelbury isn't a good fit for her. She probably would've been happier at one of those 'hands-on-learning-experience' schools, or whatever it's called. She doesn't show up in class very often, but her test scores are always high, and she's definitely not cheating.

That being said, I don't know what to do about her attendance... She turns in all of her work late, but I'm pretty lenient with late work so I've been accepting them for full credit. Her essays are always superb, and she really does have a good handle on history. Either she has the entire history of the world somehow already in her head, she's cheating, or working her little butt off outside of class. I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

I wish I could get to know her better as a person, she's so candid it's refreshing. Student-Teacher friendships aren't that weird, are they?"

Max Wallenberg
"In an environment like Caelbury, it's incredibly easy to get caught up in how much wealth you have, what luxury car you own, how your phone is better than everyone else's. I would know, I used to be one of those people. But Max, he's not materialistic at all, he doesn't care about stuff like that. And that's so impressing to me.

I have this feeling that he's so bored about his life though, and that might be why he loves books so much. Being able to get anything you could possibly want gets old after a while, and you begin to look for little thrills in life. For some people, it's partying, or drinking. For Max, I think his escape from life are books.

That's such a beautiful thing, reading. It allows us to escape out mundane lives."

"Cole... It's such a shame that he keeps to himself, being chosen to receive a scholarship is such a great opportunity to immerse yourself into a different world. Well, I guess that also might be the reason why he's not exactly socializing. It's hard to be the odd one out. He just needs an in.

And I think he may have found it, actually. I was passing through the rec center once, and I saw Cole there, with the most enthralled expression on his face. Acacia told me that she's teaching him to skate, and I hope that'll get him to come out of his shell a little.

"I wonder if I should get his autograph right now... He's obviously going to be a famous musician someday. His genre of music isn't something I am a fan of, but even I can appreciate his skill.

He's a fun kid to have in class, Vladimir usually brightens up the classroom. But like many people at Caelbury, he seems to have his own issues. I think he's looking for a distraction to get his mind off of it. I have no idea what he went through, but hopefully he can put his past to rest, running away from it isn't really a good solution."

"Another one of my troublesome students. And I don't mean it in a bad way, I swear... For the most part, anyway. I don't know her that well since she's never in class, but she's very artistic. On some of the turned in homework, there were doodles all along the side, and they were amazing.

I'll need to talk to her sometime about her grade, and maybe I can get her to like the assignment. Like... Drawing Marie Antoinette, or making a comic about World War II?"

Wren Sinclair
"Local Ms. Celebrity is a great girl. She's not one of those bitchy famous people who smile at the camera then bites someone's dick off just cuz. She's talented no doubt, but I think her success stems from her hard work, Wren is so dedicated to her career.

But working too hard is bad too. She needs to let go a little, and relax. Maybe go to a spa or something. Being judged is an inescapable part of being an actress--and in high school. But there's always a time for a stage smile, and a time for an actual one."

"I wish I had his technological skills. God knows that I can barely use a computer beyond it's basic functions. He's so helpful too, always eager to lend a hand.

That would be a great trait, if he wasn't doing it to run away from his problems. He has so much potential, but diverting your eyes away from the past doesn't get you far, you have to come to terms with it."

Brenden Aldrin
"Nobody was expecting Brenden to become the principal of Caelbury, himself included. I think he'll be able to give Caelbury a new light, since his thoughts and experiences are so different from ours. He's not stuffy and strict like many private school principals, and everyone appreciates that, I think. I mean, would you want a dried out mummy as a principal?

I've only met him once so far before the school year, to have a brief conference/interview type thing with him. I was so nervous at first, but that instantly went away. Pretty soon, I was laughing and joking around with him. It's impossible to be awkward around him, and he's so different from everyone I've met.

He's a looker too, but if I did anything, I think there is one, maybe two people who will kill me, so that's that, haha!"

Flynn Zimmerman
"Mr. Zimmerman--er... Flynn, I guess I can call him now. His class was always one of my favorites, after history, of course! He was another one of my teachers when I was a student here. He always seemed aloof and distant, not caring about anyone in particular. But that's not entirely true. You obviously already know that I was a mess in high school, I've brought it up so far a multiple of times. He wasn't like Hayden, who literally sat by my side through everything, but I have a feeling that I wouldn't have been so successful in turning my life around without him.

I don't think he knows that I know, but I actually discovered that he did a lot for me behind the scenes. At first it was the small stuff that didn't seem like a big deal at the time, but eventually they grew into bigger stuff, and added up a lot, so I'm pretty indebted to him. Now that we're coworkers... Maybe I can get to know him a little better?"

"Jay Pup~! Hmm? Why do I call him that? I don't know, actually. I think it might have something to do with him calling me Alli Cat, and the fact that Jaycen's inner animal is definitely a puppy. They have that same energy and innocence, and that adorable quality that makes you want to hug them for a long time. He's definitely my best friend, and possibly the only person that doesn't look at me weird when I'm just I dunno, like, dancing up and down the halls or something. He'd be the one to join me or something like that! Being a teacher at an elite school like Caelbury, you have to reign yourself in a bit more, to fit into the standards and stereotypes of the school, especially being a younger teacher with a background like mine. But with Jaycen, I can just throw that out the window.

Our relationship is one that many people don't understand. We'd be messing around, and other people might just roll their eyes and walk away. Well excuuuuse us for knowing how to have fun! I guess it looks like we're dating. We're not though, but when someone asks, I pretend that we are! He just goes along with it, and it's super funny. He makes a great pseudo-boyfriend by the way, when there's someone hitting on me. Since that happens all the time, obviously.

He's someone I can count on, a friend who's always unwaveringly there. I never had friends like that in high school or college, so it really means a lot that he does that."
