You are talking about a guy who just spent two months in a mental hospital and has spent most of his life hiding his depression from his family, Mizu. His parents didn't even know he was even upset until he tried to cut his arm off.
Also, I was talking about the cuts. He's good at seeing that kind of stuff, despite his bad vision.

One dark look is all it takes, honestly. Jacob can be socially retarded, but he understands depression like nobody's business. Also, I added one small thing to my other post: if there are physical cuts, Jacob will probably notice them. I have a LOT planned for him, growth-wise as well as for being a beacon of hope for people.
