Katherin rolled her eyes. She didn't understand why the girl was acting like this. "Are all water people like this?" She asked no one in particular. She didn't know what to do. She wasn't used to people falling apart like this. She considered herself a caring person but she had no desire to comfort the water bender. She had no idea why the girl was so upset. She refused to pity a girl who feel apart over every little thing.

Mira sat eating her lunch by herself. Her thoughts wondered to Cabal "I hope he is okay. I hope Einar is okay too" She thought to her self. She scanned the cafeteria again seeing if she could find anyone. She spotted Cabal walking in. She smiled in his direction and waved at him. She hoped he could see her. She decided to sit there until he or someone else saw her.

"My name is Einar. Its a pleasure to meet you." He said politely, bowing to Hige

"I was on my way to the cafeteria, if you want to come with me. I'm very hungry after everything that happened this morning... Anyways, i can lead you there if you want." he said, getting the map out of his pocket and opening to Hige.

"One thing i have to say to you about people here is: be careful with some of them... They can be a little... complicated to deal with, but you will find out about those soon enough." he said with a smile.

"Well, shall we go?" He asked, giving a few steps and waiting for him to follow.

"There are classes for stuff like that" The doctor would state. "I can only offer tutoring lessons should you sign up for the proper classes, most likely next year" he would of told Einar.

The cat-boy looked very confused with his words, big yellow-green eyes squinting curiously. Hige soon shrugged it off, smiling with his slightly fanged teeth at Einar. "Okay! I have to go to the office, but a quick stop at the cafeteria sounds nice. Thank you!" The white haired boy wouldn't mention the fact that he only wanted to see if they had some milk cartons for him to swipe. Instead, Hige stood patiently as he waited for Einar to show the way, eager for the possibility of the yummy whole milk being served.

Cabal Arrives At The Cafeteria Uneventfully

While Cabal found that not being able to hear very well was uncomfortable, he figured his current ability was good enough for everyday life. It would be troublesome if he were to get into a fight in this state, however. The damage to his ear drums did a number on his sense of balance.

He spotted Mira waving at him as soon as he entered, and nodded in greeting. She was by herself, it seemed.

"Hello again, Mira," he said, taking a seat across her, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting."

Suba Tries To Stop Crying Since It's Obvious She's Just Making Things Worse

Suba choked back another sob. Crying wasn't going to do anything but annoy her, and she was supposed to be apologizing!

"I-I'm sorry," she said, subdued and rubbing at her eyes. "I-it's just me. My sisters always said I was too much of a cry fingerling." The mermaid took another second to gather what composure and (imagined) dignity she had left, and took a deep breath.

"A-anyway, I just wanted you to know I'm sorry, for however much that counts." A quick bow, and Suba turned about and quickly walked out of the classroom, knowing that she probably couldn't do anything to make things better, and hoping that she'd be able to make it up to Katherine someday, but not before mouthing to Charles a quick "Thank you" as she brushed by him.

She'd apologize to Cabal and Einar next, when she found them. They were probably in the cafeteria, anyhow, which was perfect since she was starving; not to mention good food always helped her cheer up. She followed the directions she was provided with and got to the cafeteria without incident. The place wasn't as lavish as her home's kitchens, but the smell of food was warm and attractive, and urged her to take a deep, savory breath before entering.

She spotted Leo almost immediately, and gave a timid little wave towards him. He was counted among the people she had hurt by accident as well; with him being one of her first friends here, she was a little anxious -- like Katherine, an apology might not be enough to make up for what she'd done, and she wouldn't be able to bare it if he were to walk away from her as well.

Getting on the cafeteria, he gently opened the door, pointing to Hige.

"Here we are, the cafeteria. Eat while you can, i doubt that the other teachers will let you eat something inside the classroom." he said to Hige, walking inside and getting a moderately big plate of food.

When he was looking for a place to sit, he saw Mira and Cabal, talking on a table. He looked at them, making a slight bow, in a silent greeting.

"Talking about complicated persons... Just be wary with Cabal, the guy over there. I dont trust him very much... He is prone to demonstrations of violence and threats. Well... Its not in my position to say how should you treat him or others, but just be careful with people here... Some of them dont seem to be very amicable. Otherwise, welcome to the school, If you need anything, you can call me." he whispered to Hige.

He took a seat on the next table, took a flask out of his pocket, containing a bright, hot looking liquid and poured over the meat and some vegetables on his plate.

The Bakeneko

The bakeneko didn't pay much attention to the warning, immediately darting over to the drink area in the blink of an eye. His ears and tail appeared again, this time in joy, as he found what he was looking for. Whole milk.

Hige purred happily, flashing big adorable eyes up at the lunch lady. Students were only supposed to have one each, but the woman relented to the cute feline and let him take three of the milk cartons. Hige gave a cheerful thanks, taking the milk into a bundle in his arms and looking over to Einar. The cat ears twitched in curiosity. He wasn't sure if he was invited to sit next to him or not, so instead he just leaned over his shoulder to look at the food, tail flicking behind him as he continued to cradle his beloved milk cartons. "Huh? What's that your pouring on it?" Hige's extra fuzzy accesories disappeared yet again now that his happiness had died down.

Leo had finished rebuttoning his shirt and was starting to wonder if his new smart look had worked, when Suba began to wave at him in a timid manner. Leo being Leo of course, he didn't notice the timid part. Picking up his lunch box, he moved with surprising speed across the room.

"Hope you are alright!" He said cheerfully, again, oblivious to how she was feeling. "That scream you did was really cool! I wish i could do that." He said with a big smile on his face.

"All the other guys were all going, "Agh! My ears!" It was hilarious!" Im sitting over there!" He then said, pointing to his spot. "You are welcome to join me!"

With that, he proceeded to zoom straight back to his spot, and waited.

Charles would chuckle and smile as Suba left before turning back towards Kathrin "so.. where were we" he says with a smile. he would seem to give off a friendly appearance and aura. Though never know when that might change. "I'm still surprised to run into another like me, makes me think about my family.. my own sister" he says "She was sweet... when it was only us" he says with a slight saddened tone, "but she was like the rest..".

Katherin shivered at Charles' words. If he was trying to make friends with her he was doing it all wrong. But if he was trying to creep her out then he was doing an excellent job. She eyed him uncertainly. She had been hoping to met other witches but noe she was wondering if that was such a great idea. What the hell was she supposed to say to what he had said? "Umm... I hope you don't think I'm like the rest." after all he had killed them.

He would look at her a little bit confused "you aren't from my family so you are different" he states. "In a good way" he points out "It's nice to be able to hang around those like me again" he says then sighs bit sadly. "You probably think I'm crazy though.. or probably something worse" he says looking away. "I have been told I ramble to much especially about things I shouldn't"

"Want some?" he offered to Hige, telling him with a discreet hand movement to him to sit in the table he was."Its a traditional vieran spice. Just be careful, it has some Midgardsormr's venom, a little coeurl blood, herbs, pepper... For us Vieras the amount of toxin is enough to give it that special flavor, the poison tingling our tongues, its a very rare and appreciated spice for us. Just be careful, I don't know if other races have the resistance we have. Anyways... It should be pretty inoffensive... The worst that can happen to you is you pass out, moderately high fever, pain... but certainly its not enough to kill." He said with an innocent smile on his face.

He put the food in his mouth, slowly savoring the rare piece of meat, covered in the vieran spice, closing his eyes.
"Hmm... Itsh fantashtic." He said, chewing it.

The boy immediately took on an expression of distaste. "Ehh, I'm not really a spicy food lover." Hige sat down beside him though, smiling up cheerfully. "It smells good though." The cat purred as he opened one of his milk cartons with the joy of a kid in a candy shop. He quickly took it with both hands and started to drink it down with delight. It was emptied within seconds.

Hige glanced up at Einar, milk now cutely decorating his upper lip without notice to its wearer. "Hey, you said before to watch out for people. But you seem really nice. Are you sure the others aren't like you here?" He cocked his head slightly to the side in curiosity.

Katherin wasn't sure whether to be reassured or not. She was still very afraid of charles. If he could kill his family she saw no reason why he would hesitate to do the same to her. She watched him warily. She wanted to be his friend but she wasn't sure that she could be. It seemed dangerous to let him too close. However she would be able to watch him better if he was close. "I don't think you ramble that much. I've heard alot of people ramble about nothing alot more."

Mira smiled as Cabal sat down. She shook her head. "Nope you are good" She looked down for a second "How is your hearing doing?" She asked. Her ears twitched under her skin. She was still a little sore after the screech. She looked at Cabal through her lashes. She was truly a flirty fox. She still wondered what he was and if his true form was just as handsome as his human form. She blushed at that thought

Charles would look slightly confused at Katherin "really?" he asked wondering some about her. "It's nice still to be talking to someone" he states "at lest someone in general" he shakes his head and stretches some "we probably should go get something to eat instead of standing here all lunch" he states with a chuckle. Before heading off to one of the lines, buying some food and taking a seat before he started to eat.

Katherin watched Charles walk away. She wasn't sure what she thought of him. She wanted to ask him all kids of questions about magic but she was afraid to. Not only did his status as a witch with a family make her nervous but his confession murder scared her. It made her wonder what the others were capable of. Was she the only nonviolent one? If that was the case she could be in serious trouble. She headed to the reduce lunch section to see what her choices were.
