Leo turned to see the girl from earlier again. Was she following him? Oh trickster, did she know...

No, of course she didnt. He REALLY needed to stop being so paranoid about this, just because people wanted to be friends, didnt mean they were going to stab you in the back later. Then again, that sometimes happened even if you werent a Loki. What a comforting thought.

He couldnt help but smile at the thought of what would happen if his parents saw this. Talking to another monster kindly and without any bad intentions.

"I hope you are spinning in your grave, you deranged bitch. You were never any mother of mine."

Getting back to reality, he couldn't help but give the slightest of sadistic smiles at the thought, before remembering the girl sitting next to him, turning his sadistic thoughts into ones of nervousness in less than half a second.

"Oh, um...hi again!" He said kindly. "M..my name is Leo. Whats yours?"

Nothing ever seemed to go Drake's way, and today was no exception. Fell asleep on the bus? Check. Left his wallet on the seat? Yep. Did the strap to his bag breal, spilling his small trove of yuri doujins out on the floor in front of a bunch of cute neko girls? Was there any doubt?

And after all of that he was late for class. Drake ignored the new, exciting scents and sounds in a single minded attempt to get to class. Being an aquatic dragon, he wasn't out of breath when he reached the classroom, but he was more than a little flustered.

He felt eyes fall on him. Drake's uniform and hair were disheveled, his tie askew. What was more, he'd spilled his iced coffee on his pant leg. The young dragon shuffled to the first open seat he saw.

I had got up and nodded to the man who screamed at us for being in the wrong class. I barely talked as I had to deal with the faculty, getting a new schedule, and got to the first class. I was a bit late compared to the others from my slower pace and laid back attitude to the whole ordeal. However my tone quickly changed when an unmistakable scent came under my attention. I was standing behind another dragon.
I silently glared at the dragon, unsure of what else to do as territorial instincts began to fill my head with various thoughts of violence.

Miss Katsuragi would raise a brow at the back talk from one of the students "It's not our job to be like other schools" she says "it's simply our job to teach you to live in human society, nothing in that world will simply be handed to you" she shakes her head. "You must use common sense and your head to survive out there" she states before pulling out the student list and starts marking people as late. "You are all already in danger in that category" she states "You are going to be constantly graded during your stay at this school for how well you blend in, keeping your secret identities, and use of common sense" she states "Along with class grades, the lower grade you get there the longer you'll be in this school" she states.

"Five years is the minimal time it takes for people to graduate, but there has been some who have never graduated, and because of that have been entirely isolated from humans" she says. "Now... it's time for class" she states "take your books from inside your desks and begin with writing down the vocab and their definitions from chapters 1, 2, and 3." she states before sitting down. having calmed down some her ears and tail would be hidden, they would of only been visible thanks to getting agitated from having what seems at first to be a troublesome class. luckily she only had them for homeroom and Human Social Studies, other teachers can deal with them the rest of the day.

Mira sat there looking at Cabal. She returned his nod with a smile. Where she came from the male kitsune all looked and acted the same. There was no real difference with the males. Well, maybe a couple of difference in their looks but never in their actions. She looked around to the males that she had already met Compared to all of the males back where I am from, these males are very good looking. Some more then others she thought to herself. Her parents would be turning in their graves if they saw her at this school. She looked back over at Cabal and leaned over to him "Am I the only one who want to pet our teacher?" She whispered to him. Then began doing as she was told. She didn't want to get in trouble anymore then she already had. It takes five years to graduate, my parents really would be rolling over in their graves She thought to herself as she started to write.

Einar gave a quick look at Mira when she sat near him, smiling.

"Hello again, mysterious Mira" he said blinking to her "I hope i can trust you." he said, with a kind smile

"Teacher, sorry to interrupt you, but can I make a question?" Einar asked a little embarrassed, while he was getting his book

"Are those ears and tail real?" he asked genuinely curious "They are cute." He said, with a smile "I've never saw anything like that"

"You are cute too" he whispered to Mira, with a smile, visibly blushing. "We male vieras live separated from females. almost like another race. Some of us grow and never see a female... so i'm sorry if i'm being somewhat indelicate, i-i don't know how to talk about those things" he said, nervous

Katherin rolled her eyes. She was having serious doubts about the wisdom if enrolling in this school. How could they teach them to blend in if they didn't do things the way the human's did? That didn't make any sense to her. You can say one thing while doing another. She was begining to eonder if the people in charge know what the frick they were doing or if they were making it up as they went. She took out her book and opened it to chapter 1.

Mira paused in her writing when he said she was cute and looked up to Einar. He thinks I am cute and mysterious. I have never been called cute before. She blushed a bit before saying "Thank you I have never been called cute before" she gave him a small smile "you think I am mysterious?" She asked before she looked back down and began writing again. She had been called sexy and hot before by some of the males where she was from. She did a sideway glance at Einar. He was good looking himself. You don't have time for that Mira you need to focus on your studies so you never have to go back she reminded herself. She sighed and started rolling her kitsune ball again.

Cabal Recalls That He Doesn't Like Languages, And A Certain Popular Movie

Cabal paused, about to answer her, before Einar caught her attention. He waited patiently for their conversation to pause for a moment, before responding.

"Her ears are quite . . . tempting? Not quite the right word. Inviting, more like. She reminds me of my cat, back home," he said, while taking out his books from inside the desk. Tch, vocabulary. Language classes were not his strong suit; even back when he studied in a human school, he was never adept at language. Aswang could understand each other instinctively, without talking, so learning other languages was solely so that they could communicate with humans.

On a side note, Cabal was watching the interactions between Einar and Mira. More specifically, the growing attraction between them. That was fast, even for monsters.

Come to think of it, if a rabbit and a fox interbred, what would the offspring look like? Now he was being reminded of that one movie that came out recently, the one his whole clan reviled instantly . . . what was it again? Uh, Animaltopia? Zooparadise? Something along those lines?

Suba Introduces Herself, And Ignores The Teacher

"O-oh! I'm Suba, it's really nice to meet you Leo!" At the prospect of gaining a new friend, some of Suba's earlier chirpiness returned. In any case, she could worry about Cabal later, since she was certain that he probably might not try to do anything, probably.

That didn't sound very reassuring, even to herself.

She looked around when suddenly, everyone was taking out a book from their desks, and turned to Leo.

"Psst, any idea what we're supposed to do? I wasn't paying attention," she whispered to her seatmate, while taking out the book she thought they were supposed to be using. She wasn't sure, but it looked the same as the others!

Leo shook his head.
"S...sorry." he said kindly. "I wasn't listening either. I was talking to you." He stopped for a moment, realising how that sounded.
"But that's alright! I like talking to you! You seem nice and all."

Gazing quickly to the side, he checked what book everyone else had, and waved his own in front of Suba.
"I think its this one. S...sorry, if i seem r...rude or anything. Im not used to talking to people. Especially girls and stuff."

Mira looked at Cabal and gave him what could be mistaken for a flirtatious smile. If he thinks her ears are inviting I wonder what he would think of mine She thought to her self. She looked at Cabal out of the corner of her eye "So when you called me delicious did you mean that as a compliment or a threat" She asked him. She was in major trouble. She was sitting in between two guys she found attractive, one more so then the other but still. She blushed briefly before shaking her head and went quickly back to her writing. She was not use to all of this attention and the attraction that she felt. Yes she was a flirtatious creature but not normally to people she just met unless they were her own kind. Plus Mira if you did ever get with someone that wasn't a kitsune you would be casted out that little voice in her head said Although maybe that would be totally a bad thing, plus if you finish this school you will never have to go back anyways. So lets worry about these classes first.. "What the hell is wrong with me" She said under her breath as she finished chapter 1 and began chapter 2.

Einar looked to Mira, with sad eyes, feeling a little bit jealous. "What he has that i doesnt have? Einar thought, seeing on how mira was flirting with him.
"He doesnt even have ears or a tail!" he thought, thinking about the vieran standards. "I knew it... its the hair, isnt it?..."

When he looked at the book, to start reading, he had a surprise: It was everything in english!

It was hard to read the book, really hard. He never learned to read english, only speak. The only other language he spoke besides vieran, was english, thanks to the merchant's good will to Teach him and the stories he told him, but reading was another thing. He was struggling very hard to do so. The symbols were all strange, their sound and look way too different comparing to the vieran alphabet. And to make things worse, he only remembered a few of the sounds they made. Too embarassed to ask the teacher, he kept struggling.

"I wonder how the old chap is doing, i miss him. he thought, remembering the friendly merchant.

Charles watched the others as they seemed to start to talk to each other and some trying to be friends he would sigh some and looks down at his papers being half way done already, he knew he was the youngest there most monsters don't manage to enter at his age since they are still busy with other schooling. People back home called him a genius, a prodigy, but he wasn't certain if they was just spouting nonsense or if he really did have a good future ahead of him.. one full of things he didn't really want. He was just being somewhat absent minded as his left hand flipped between the vocab and definitions and his right kept writing.

Once the teacher stopped speaking Drake felt a killing intent from nearby. It was far and few between that he'd ever felt one this strong, and judging by the scent of scales and smoke teasing his nostrils, it was another dragon. Drake did his best to ignore it, focusing instead on his other classmates. There were so many cute girls! Some had kemonomimi, while others seemed more human; luckily(?) the girls he had spilled his treasure trove in front of were a few years ahead of him.

Five years? he pondered. In the lifetime of most yokai, that's nothing! Drake knew that the three Great Dragons he was descended from were still alive somewhere in the world's oceans. They each preferred different parts of the world: Leviathan the deepest parts of Earth, Wani the tropical waters of the equator, and Ryujin... well, he went anywhere and everywhere he pleased, if his mother was to be believed.

Drake took in more scents. There was a sea-folk here, some form of mermaid or merman. With all of the other scents clambering for attention in his brain, it was difficult to find them.

Cabal Does Not Realize He Is Stuck In A Love Triangle Much To The Detriment Of Everyone Else

Cabal was aware that the Kitsune was looking at him in a manner that could easily be taken as "inviting", but as someone who's first time involved nearly being strangled to death, such an action made him more cautious that flattered. Still, he didn't show any outward sign of it.

When Mira asked him about the "delicious" thing, he recalled that both she and Einar had misunderstood him, if their reactions were anything to go by. He supposed it would be good to explain himself, after all, from a normal perspective it would come of as threatening.

Still, there was a class going on, and talking about it at length would be rude to the teacher.

So he wrote down his reply instead, and passed it to Mira.

It's both a compliment and a courtesy. My race generally doesn't eat other monsters, as most races from my homeland are tainted with darkness and miasma; it's rather unpleasant to devour, really, much like trying to swallow mud.

When we say someone is "delicious" it means they are untouched by the taint of our kind, and more than that, as a sign that we wish to make their acquaintance and possibly friendship, we inform them that they smell like a meal to us. By doing so, we are telling them that we do not actually see them as prey. After all, what predator tells his prey that he is going to eat her?

Also, you genuinely have a pleasant fragrance, more so than any one else in the room.

True enough, Mira had an enchanting scent to go along with the more natural fox-y one. Like a mix of a perfume of flowers, that had somehow grown naturally with her. He wondered where that stemmed from? Perhaps it was a trait from her race? He'd have to do some research on the traits of Kitsune's sometime later.

Suba Sorta-Kinda Flirts With Leo Without Even Realizing It

Suba's, bless her innocent soul, was completely oblivious to Leo's discomfort, not to mention the reason behind it.

"It's okay, I like talking to you as well!" she said cheerily, "and yeah, I think that's the one, thanks. You know you don't sound rude at all. Sorta awkward, yeah, but that's also kinda *kyut~"

She took a quick peek at her other seatmate and flipped to the page she was on, and scanned it briefly. It wasn't that difficult, though naturally, English would give her a pause now and then, but it was nothing she couldn't handle! In any case . . .

"Well, if you want someone to practice talking with, I'm here. Though I'll warn you, I'm famous for my ability to never stop talking, so I might be taking over the conversation" she said with a grin and whispering conspiratorially.

Einar was feeling a bit down, he knew that he didn't have any chance with Mira. He didn't knew how to talk or flirt... his first attempt to do so was... pathetic to say the least, and to make things worse, that Cabal guy seemed to be very good at flirting, he was already changing messages with her.

To top it off, it was impossible to him to read the book... he had no idea at all on how the English alphabet worked...
He turned to Mira and was almot asking her to help him, but he remembered his pathetic flirt attempt and seeing cabal trading messages with her didn't helped. He felt jealous at first, but he just accepted that he was not made to this kind of thing.

Desolated, he laid his head on the table and started idly writing in his native language.

To be fair I wasn't entirely sure I was facing a dragon, as the smell was incredibly faint. Regardless, my eyes squinted as he took a seat. I sighed and would sit away from him. Finding a place near Mira and Cabal. I would get out my book though I only pretended to read, instead of that I spoke instead. "Mira right?" I grinned at her for a brief moment. "I'll remember that." I glanced at Cabal, a hint of my confident grin still upon my face. "You seem to know a lot about respect, or at least, how nature rules it."

Mira took the note from Cabal and started blushing at the words. Why she had no idea. It worsened the further she read down. Also, you genuinely have a pleasant fragrance, more so than any one else in the room. She read that and she hid her face behind her hair a bit for her face was as red as the fire she produced. "What is Cabal, some type of Casanova? She thought to herself and decided to reply back.

So does this mean you want to see about being friends? That you don't want to eat me? Sorry about my reaction about that whole thing. Where I come from when someone calls other people delicious it is a major threat. What is "your kind" anyway? Just to let you know I find you kind of mysterious as well as strong. Also a bit of a Casanova.

I am curious what the "fragrance" you smell on me is. I been told I smell like a lot of thing but that is a longer story then I have time for.

Also to give you a bit of what a Kitsune is, it is basically a fire fox that can have up to nine tails. There is more to a kitsune but that is the short version. She passed the note back to Cabal with a small smile. She glance over at Einar and was general confused by his action. She pulled a piece of paper out and scribbled down a note to him

She looked up and saw Jackal giving him nod "I hope you do" she said with a smile. He is handsome as well for being a dragon She thought and continued working out of her book.

K...k...k...Kyut? She had called him "kyut"? Why would someone call him Kyut? It sounded a lot like...cute? He was cute? Since when had he been cute? He always thought the bright eyes and the white everything else made him look a little...off. Almost effeminate.

He sat there, eyes gazing wide open into the distance, for about fifteen seconds before he spoke.
"T...thank you."

He wasnt entirely sure how to react further, so he said the first thing that came into his head.
"I dont mind if you talk a lot...it would be nice. Oh, and you are...er..."Kyut" too."
