If someone loses a post, or if their miss a location or something like that, I think its ok if they wrote what happened with them. even if the story is aready a little further. You just need to write your character's actions until the present moment

Why everyone has enhanced smell now? T___T i thought that i was one of the few who had. The poison on the knife had a very, very weak smell. It was kinda impossible to have smelled it. Also, I did it very close to you, you couldn't have seen it, bcos I was concealing it with my hands

I'm so tempted to stick a knife at cabal's throat tho -_- with all that prey and predatot thing... Einar is a seasomed Hunter, he gree up hunting. Also, that stare i have you should have some effect. I wasnt trying to intimidade you, only show that i am not as harmless as you think so. My character's strenght are basically absurd speed, agility, and his bow, arrows, knives and poisons, and his knowledge, of course. I dont have magic, or regeneration, or something like that. The only thing that haopens is that when i enter in a mist frenzy state, i my body gets tougher, but i love control completely, attacking everything and everyone

Aye its all in the fun, but I should point out that the prideful and short-tempered conditions of Jackal are a bit more then personality, dragons struggle with the sins they are born with much in the same way certain people are born with personality disabilities. So he can't really help it, though Im sure the good ol demon-I mean, DM has something good instore to 'fix' that prideful boasting eventually.

@dragonmancer Yup. that's why they're so fearsome. Although very, very wise, they are also very, very prideful and often wont even want to talk with a creature they think its inferior to them..

Not all dragons are prideful, remember that each dragon has their own combination or solitary sin, its just that pride is one of the most common. Longs are rarely prideful and their meditation periods can nullify most of their sin. Other dragons especially hellkites aren't really the 'wise' type.

Anyway, to explain Cabal's attitude, he classifies prey as "weak" and predators as "strong", but that does not necessarily mean that prey are the Hunted. It just means they're weaker and should act like it, which means not picking fights with "predators" in the same way a predator would. If you're prey, you fight like prey, not like a predator.

He sees Einar as prey trying to be a predator, since he keeps trying to aggravate Jackal (who is definitely an apex predator) for no reason.

Of note, when Cabal compares himself to Jackal, he is also prey. Which is why he's so confused by the way Einar acts around him. In his eyes, it's like he's committing suicide by stupidity.

Also, he's a Social Darwinist. Make of that what you will.

Einar believes that knowledge trumps raw strength. thats why he is interested in humans. @TheHangedMan

I understand Cabal's point of view, but einar thinks the opposite.

Anyways, einar is acting that way because everyone sees him as "prey" and he just want to be left alone.
Cabal outright threatened him, since the first time they met (Einar still doesn't know that "delicious" was a compliment) and jackal just contributed to this. so he acted that way to say "don't mess with me" Since he is in fact outgoing, kind and curious with those that pose no threat. But both cabal and jackal got him alert. He is a hunter after all, and that's why his first instinct was to protect himself, showing to the others that they shouldn't mess with him.

What I told you about the knife, there was no way for him to have smelled or seen the it. and since we were inside the school, I doubt that cabal would do anything.

Einar hardly ever acts out of impulse (saving rare cases) . He is very logical and always plan things

@13org He drew the knife the first time Cabal showed up in front of him, when he was with Fox-Girl. He did it out of instinct, if I recall, that's why Cabal knows he has it :D

And yeah, in general Cabal has a non-human mindset, so he does things that are incomprehensible to a lot of the more human-minded monsters. Expect to see that cause a lot of misunderstandings.
