Perhaps you could explain it as their leader caste being incapable of reproduction due to genetic deterioration?
That way you could have large armies of cloned soldiers and a dying species at the same time.

I renamed the Lunarian Ascendancy the Lunarian Sphere when I saw that somebody had already used Ascendancy.

I need Hekazu to show he is still present or he'll be dropped for a waiting player. Anybody else still waiting on stats that was accepted? I think that's it.

The reason I don't want a slew of civilizations is because I intend to provide a dynamic plot that involves the civilizations (first in a solo sense as they explore the galaxy for themselves) and I don't want to pretend I can keep up with +8 civilizations at a time.

I can't stop you, but your population is your life blood. Your planets are your organs. Protecting the location and numbers of your civilization is essential to survival. However, some information will be revealed in sporadic amounts as you encounter other species (though not all of it may be true..)
