Outskirts of Hyperion. I'd assume that there is somewhere a place where domestic people live normal lives away from the war. Either way I can probably think of something that I can do. Maybe a larger settlement somewhere in the world.

Sadly there isn't. The entirety of the Nexus revolves around the constant strife and warfare. If you're aiming to target human children, your best bet is Hyperion but the major audience would be happy machines and enslaved humans. The world is consisted of Heaven, Hell, Hyperion, and the Neutral Territories. The GMs will have to think over allowing him to originate from Neutral ground if that's the route you want.

Speaking of neutral ground, I'm trying to think of how Harpies originally got involved with all this. The most sensible two would be Rufus employing Sliske to corrupt them originally from one of these territories and him never getting caught for it, or Rufus going out and doing it himself.

If they're enslaved/soldiers/experiments, Alexi would have never joined them, and if that's a recent development, she would have left them and not fought for them.

Oh shit I forgot about him. Well I suppose that's on par with Claptrap though. A lot of Krieg's personal drama Cherry got involved in probs wouldn't have happened if Craptrap was nearby to boss around. Oh well, I'll keep him in mind.

I imagine Alexi is fighting for the Machina because someone told her too, and Alexi said yes. In fact I'm almost half certain this is how the humans are "Enslaved". High Queen Eos shows up one day after humanity thoroughly fucks itself, she starts barking out orders, and the humans comply. And those who don't are killed due to their own stupidity.

@Flamelord It seems at first glance that her combat personality is when she suddenly becomes sensible and not crazy, but it's actually not. After every battle, she declares to the high queen that her treatment of humanity is unacceptable blah blah card games blah, and that she's leaving.

But after a week or two of being gone, her non-combat personality takes over and she always comes back, and both her personalities always forget. The High Queen puts up with her once-a-battle temper tantrum because, well, she's a person who, even if she can't beat them, can trade blows with faction leaders.

However, for this idea, I suppose I should ask the GMs if Eos actually WOULD put up with that.
