If you consider a faction leader a raid boss, then Eos would have been overwhelmed with significant numbers like that. She DID pass out from exhausting herself in only a few attacks, after all, so dodging and stun locking her for a few minutes would have been all that was needed.

Or just don't get in that fight in the first place.

No. If anyone ever played Nier, the first one not Automata, and got to Ending D, they'd have an idea how this works.

But to summize, when someone is that thoroughly erased from existence, their actions are ascribed to others in their collective memories. So in this instance, people would recall it as Ira or Victoire being responsible for this escape.
