Ben walked down the sidewalk with his phone out and his IPod blaring Metallica. He looked around before he looked back at his phone and sighed, “We’re is this damn Nidoking?” he clicked the outline of the Pokémon and it brought it up with three footprints under it. He began to walk around town looking for Nidoking and keeping an eye on the footprints. After an hour he stopped by a food truck and ordered a pretzel and ice tea. He paid for his food and sat down on one of the benches at the park.
“You know, this would be so much better if they fixed the damn tracking glitch,” Ban complained before he bit into his pretzel. He needed the Nidoking to not only finish the evolution line, but to also level up. He could simply catch Pokémon he’s already caught and slowly grind that way, but he didn’t want to waste all his pokeballs. He’d never bought any Pokeballs, but instead used the poke-stops around his house to get them. There were at least three poke-stops near his home and eight where he worked. However, for some reason today’s poke-stops thought he needed revives and potions instead of pokeballs. And there was an issue with a bellsprout that took ten pokeballs to actually catch and he hadn’t let it go when he checked his inventory.
“Seriously, ten damn pokeballs for a level 50 bellsprout? I shouldn’t have that much on an issue with,” Ben said before he noticed something new in his inventory. He looked at the golden ticket on his screen and said, “What the hell is this?” he clicked on the golden ticket and an icon came up asking if he wished to use the Digital Ticket.
“What the hell does it do?” Ben questioned before he clicked yes. The world around him went black and white. Ben looked around as everything and everyone around him seemed to stand still. He walked up to a man who was suspended in the air after he tripped. He waved his hand in front of the man’s face, but nothing happened. He looked down at his phone that still showed the game and said, “What the hell is going on?”
His phone began to shake violently and Ben instantly dropped in and leaped back. The phone continued to shake before it finally stopped. Ben gingerly walked towards the phone and knelt down. When he reached out to pick his phone up and white arm quickly came out of his screen and grabbed his wrist. Ben Yelped in surprise before the hand dragged him into his phone.
There was a large flash of light and Ben felt his body hit the ground hard. He groaned before he slowly opened his eyes. He was on his back staring at the sky. He slowly got up and winched as he felt a small pain in his lower back. He rubbed his back and said, “What the hell was in that tea?” be looked around to find himself in a forest.
“Where the hell am I?” Ben asked as he slowly stood up. he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and quickly took it out. On the screen was a signal text. It said: Find the others. Ben looked at the Text and said, “Others, what others?” Ben heard a tree fall and large footsteps behind him. He turned around and found himself face to face with a Nidoking. He was dumb struck as the Nidoking just looked at him before it continued walking.
“Was that?” Ben said before his phone vibrated. He looked at the next text that said: You must hurry. Ben looked confused and said, “Hurry? For what?” his phone suddenly showed an arrow that pointed west. Ben looked around before he started following the arrow.
