I know, I was going to add a second part to the skills section. And of course, I know. I need food, and a whole bunch of stuff.

Just what I saw. But, yea, I could tell its a WIP, so I'll hold off on passing any judgement until its finished.

Oh, shit. Didn't see the WIP sheet.

I'll get to it when I'm not suffering brain farts.

I should put my sheet on a Piratepad or something, so everyone can see and give feedback.

I have been tempted to join this for ages tbh lol. Think I may write outta CS once my laptop returns..... Wouldn't mind tipping my hand at a werewolf Nord. Or Redguard, not sure which yet.

Hey there Vakte!
Just a heads up so you don't have to rewrite too much stuff, werewolf characters have been attempted before, and Dervish is extremely selective about them and will nitpick your CS until it's perfect. To my knowledge, no werewolf sheet has ever been accepted.
Probably the most important thing to consider when writing your CS and planning how you will play him, is how a werewolf would be viewed in the eyes of the characters, I.E. They would fear him and probably try to kill him if they found out before a good trust had been built.
Don't expect to use your werewolf powers very often, if at all, for quite some time.

That said, after seeing your writing ability in Nova, I say go for it.

Volt has some very valid points. He'd been here long enough to see the passage of time, looking over CS's being picked apart, witnessing heartbroken would-be's get thrown out, and he has grown to be wise from this.

I'd listen to him. Even if your writing is kickass in Nova, werewolf characters dont tend to last long as a concept here.

I've got a few ideas running around. Just need to look up on if Werewolf affects chapter age. And I can work up a cs and thoroughly enjoy them being picked apart to perfection :)

Vakte, pretty much what Volty said. We've yet to have someone apply as a werewolf or vampire (or god forbid, the one time somebody was like "A DRAGON/WEREWOLF HYBRID!!!111!") who was able to give a satisfactory explanation of how exactly they were planning on working around the whole "if everyone finds out what I am, they're going to try and kill me" angle. A monster is a monster is a monster. But I'd love to have you in the game! You write beautiful, beautiful character sheets. :D

OKAY LET'S GO SEE WHAT GALAXY WROTE AT LONG LAST.

Sorry about the wait, bro.

So far, so good! Your descriptive writing for his appearance is wonderful, as it makes it very easy to keep an image of him in the mind, and it's refreshing to see somebody take the older, non-remarkable appearance route. This guild is full of teen and 20 something characters that are cover models, and I'm guilty of it myself a few times lol. Point is, diversity rocks.

A quick note on the elvish equipment, if there comes a time where your character encounters Dominion soldiers (it's happened a few times in the RP already), he's going to be under suspicion of having killed Thalmor soldiers to get it, which is going to trigger some hostile reactions. Be aware that it's possible to find and purchase other equipment as the RP goes along, so don't be afraid to switch things up when the time comes and that appearances do count in this RP. It's why half of the people in the game are currently running around, dressed like Redguard and not really armed like normal. Under cover matters. ;D

The skills do need to be addressed, like Soul pointed out (I still have a hard time calling him Leidenschaft!), and keep in mind, your major skills are Expert level, so just bear in mind that "One of the best in Tamriel" probably means somewhere around the top 15% or something like that, and it's not uncommon to run into NPCs who are better fighters. Part of the reason for that is we want to prevent people with the solo Rambo mentality from going around, clearing entire forts single-handed with no repercussion.

Rest of it looks good so far! Looking forward to the rest!

I admire the work-ethic, Mister Vakte! I look forward to seeing what you come up. Who knows? We could have this RP's first Werewolf character.

I had thought as much, but if those Thalmor do suspect anything, I've never anything that can do anything after being run through with a sword.

And of course, I had thought of that, which was why I was going to change it to "one of the better" in Tamriel. And of course, He's not a Rambo or Game PC, and he's VERY used to working with other, experienced soldiers. Legging it as a loner is not something he is going to do. Or for longer than he has already, anyways.

And sooner or later, I will try to acquire Orcish, or maybe Dwemer.
Maybe during the endgame, a glass sword, but thats miles away.

I wish I could dig up stuff from the old guild, just to dig up some of the applicants we had. Good memories. :D

Suits me fine! I certainly don't expect you to be one of the guys who are like 'Killin' everyone in dah room with mah sword', I was using the Rambo thing to kind of illustrate why we have the skill system in place. :D So far, it's worked pretty well and people have adopted it for other games. Kind of a source of pride there.

As for his fighting style, I was actually mulling it over when I was reading it, since I imagine he'd quite used to fighting in formations as a part of a unit, so I was kind of surprised at how you described it. Not that I'm concerned, I just thought it was interesting.

With the equipment, it's similar to how we have the skill system. While the high-tier stuff is definitely nice quality, don't get too worried about what it's made of. Somebody with a cheap iron sword can still best a better armed opponent if he's a better fighter and so on. I always liked how orcish stuff was designed, with lots of jagged hooks.

Yeah, I know your pain.

I'm doing a Stormcloak character in the Civil War Overhaul mod and I'm trying to reclaim Falkreath, but even if I crank the difficulty down to Novice, killing a single Hold guard is like the fight of my life. Even after a dragon landed in town and started attacking, they still decided I was the bigger threat.

I'm going to have to leave and come back after a few levels, gaaah.

Actually thought for the new guys.

The people around Rihad couple probably use a few more people to interact with/ keep that part of the story going while keeping group numbers fairly manageable. The goal is to have both groups meet up sometime in this arc, but for now, there's three people around Rihad and then there's a bunch more in Helgathe at the moment. If you guys would like, I think that would be a good place to start you off. :D

Well, its like that because for the past couple of years, he's had to change his style. Without Legion backups, every fight is a paranoid fight to the death for him, because lets face it, he is incredibly scared of dying.
