xD! Players can have whatever concept and however many characters they like (so long as the abilities ect. fit in), so it's more your call on this one, whether you would like to play it or not.

@AshevelendarVaguely - sort of how there's a urban legend that if someone is talking about you you'll sneeze or get a shiver. They'd feel tingly, but they wouldn't know why or how.

Also were you asking about whether lifeforce abilities have rolls? In most cases no - in PVP scenarios or against monsters they might, but the effect will always happen, if that makes sense. If an ability is cancelled it'd just be refunded and you could instantly use it again if you wanted.
