Once, you were a human. Maybe you were a salary man, or a kid on a skateboard, or a third-grade english teacher. Doesn't really matter though, you're dead now. As quickly as your soul is placed into darkness, it is pulled back out. Quite uncomfortable, I can imagine. Light and sounds accelerate, and your eyes crack open for the first time, in a new body.

Congratulations, you're a Goblin.

Born in a small, remote tribe in a forested island, lacking any knowledge of your geography, you are thrust into the world. While only a newborn, the instinct and basic abilities of your kind are ingrained into you. How to communicate, how to hunt, what you must do to survive, as well as inherent information to your new world. This is your life, this is your mind. The memories of your previous life, your previous world, they exist but merely as a hazy dream with the conclusion forgotten. With time, sufficient experience and growth will open the option for you to evolve from a goblin to a different branch of monster, but this will depend on your own ability.

Just one thing sets this new batch of Goblin juveniles, your clan, apart from the rest. A single facet of their souls, a single "skill" retained from their past life that they do not even know they had. Perhaps an affinity for a rare kind of magic, perhaps a propensity to lead, perhaps the knowledge of a language they don't recall learning. Will this mistake in the cycle of reincarnation lend them the power to break past their limits, or will they simply fall like wild beasts to the onslaught of the world?

Preview

Name: Well? No last names though, because you aren't special yet.
Gender: Male or Female
Appearance: You're a green-skinned, four foot tall, ugly piece of work. As such, this section is optional, but if you want to mention some distinguishing factors, feel free. I won't demand a properly full description though. Also, I don't usually say this, but I'd rather you don't put an image, considering everything. Don't worry though, with Evolutions, your appearance can drastically change.

Personality: Describe how your character thinks, acts, and feels. Don't skimp on this.
Past Life History: This isn't that important, compared to how important it usually is, but you still need to fill this up. Considering that the memory of this will be hazy, "growth" that occurred during your past life won't be present, hence why you're largely a blank slate with some human-ness left. If you had a traumatic experience and became afraid of the dark, you won't have that trauma here. If you were born afraid of the dark, though, then you will. As such, the only real reason this section exists is for flavor, and to justify your Gift. Keep it brief.

Talent:You get one. These abilities you were born with, as a result of your past life. If you were an English teacher, maybe you innately know the human language somehow, despite not knowing what a human is. If you were a creepy occultist, maybe you have a rare magic affinity. Maybe you were a professional fighter, so you'd be naturally be physically gifted or skilled in combat. Just be reasonable, and don't pick anything that makes you broken from the start.

Skills: Techniques and abilities that you will gain throughout the story.

Gender: Male
Appearance: In stead of pure green Jeas is more chartreuse colored.
Personality: While not the bravest goblin Jeas is no coward either and won't abandon his friends if he can help them, that said if the smartest thing to do is go get help he will volunteer for that task. He is a bit of a big eater and if the opportunity arises he isn't above stealing food from strangers, though he won't steal from friends or family. Jeas is reasonably clever though when panicking or caught by surprise he has some trouble thinking straight.
Past Life History: He used to be an electrician until he died from a heart attack.
Level: 1
Talent: He can generate low wattage electricity in his hands, though he has touch his opponent for it to affect hem.

Also, just two questions. Any late game plan/progression path for Jeas or are you just gonna wing it? The other question is, how do I pronounce his name? Jees or Jee-As?

Klump

Name: Klump

Gender: Male

Appearance: Klump is slightly on the tall side of his kind, and all the way on the fat side. He kind of looks like a Micro-Orc, or a very annoyed orc baby.

Personality: Klump has a bull-in-china-shop vibe about him, but his acquaintances know the exact opposite - he is very careful, both in the practical and the social sense. This makes him a shoulder to lean on whenever something needs fixing or something bad happens. And he usually takes his reward in food. Food is awesome.

Past Life History: Klump's past life was fairly varied. He was a shy, psychologically unstable young man who had a hard time keeping a job in a dog-eat-dog world. He picked up various manual skills to keep his fridge full, and also to be useful to himself and others. Being unable to go through with any kind of academic studying, he was stuck in this rut, fairly alone, until dying in a car accident in his 40s.

Talent: Tinkering. Klump has a knack with tools and has moderate success in patching up stuff.

I wanted a good name but I got pun instead

Name: Nick ("The not-quite-important-enough")
Gender: Male.
Appearance: Nick's skin is tinted more blue than green. He's also a bit on the weak side.

Personality: Over all, Nick is as decent as you'd expect from a goblin. He eats with his mouth open and burps loudly to complement the cook and will only bite you if you try to steal his stuff. Socially he's pretty well balanced and can often read the room to figure out what's going on, even though he might be too stupid to act on it.
Indeed, Nick's gifts, plentiful as they are, did not include a brain that could rival the household cockroach. As such Nick has many friends that sort of takes care of him, makes sure he doesn't fall in the well. Again.
Past Life History: Once, in a different world, there lived a young street urchin named Tom, or Tim, or Kim... No one cared really. He... Or she, froze to death quite unspectacularly during a winter night.

Talent: Scavenging - While completely devoid of Einsteinian intelligence Nick's eyes are almost always on the move. He has a knack for finding things. Both stuff, lost things and things you didn't know you'd lost until you found it in Nick's bag.

Personality: Mi is very cunning and loves to trick people into things, He is also very mischievous loving to play pranks on people or other goblins. Mi is friendly but uses his friendly nature to manipulate people or try to use people for his own gain.

Past Life History: He used to be an bank robber but was killed by a hail of bullets form the police.

Talent: He is very stealthy.

@Eviledd1984 Hey there, dude. Let's see here, I guess I'll start with Mi's talent. Its kinda too powerful for a young goblin to be born with. And it needs to be related to your history. And about your abilities, everyone starts with Night Vision and Absorption. You know, the ones I put in the Character Sheet. Sorry to the burster of bubbles.
