RWBY roleplay

Hi! I'm still sort of new here and I've been looking for a few RWBY RP's to no avail. I'm wondering if there are any I missed or if anyone would like to make one with me? We could set up a piratepad and stuff!

Do you guys have any ideas or things you would want to see? I'm totally up for having you guys be GM's if you want, I'll probably need a bit of help writing and figuring out how to make it in all honesty.

It can go any way, tbh - long as it isn't stupid. It can be an AU set in the school, or we could be hunters that graduated.

I'm thinking it'll be set in the school. The character I have in mind wouldn't really go well with an adult setting haha. What about it being set at beacon with the general world of RWBY happening, but without any of the characters from the show? I'm thinking we could either keep the staff from the show or just come up with a few of our own.

I'm up for that if you are! The only problem is that there is already a school for each of the four kingdoms. We could probably just get rid of one of the schools and replace it with our own?

If you think it's best we make our own academy then I say we go for it! I think we should probably wait until tomorrow to see who else is interested in helping to make this before we properly get started though, and just use this thread as a platform for ideas at the moment.

@LiberatorThe own School may be a good idea, just takes a bit longer to plan however. I'd be more than happy to have it far from the canon story and characters as possible. Originality delivers excitement to some degree.

Question in mind, do these characters start out as newly inducted students, already a part of the school or a minor mix of the two?

I really want this to be a collaborative experience, so whatever the group thinks is best is what I think we should go with. Personally, I think newly inducted sounds good, but I'm open to both of the other ideas too!

I have very similar viewpoints on how this works from the way you see it. I'll be glad to give you ideas, as should others to deliver the best agreement, if you ask the general questions.

On one hand, starting with everyone just arriving at the academy is a good way to introduce everyone.

On the other, that's kind of a cliche start to any school roleplay, and starting some time into the semester will allow us to jump right into the action.

Thinking on it, a good idea in my opinion is to start a bit into the semester and have the teams themselves know each other to a degree. The start of the RP could be something that brings the teams together where they meet for the first time or something?

Speaking of teams, would we have multiple people per team, or could just have one or two teams that only has one main character in it, which is filled with three other side characters, if you catch my drift?

Or, again, we could mix it up.

One Main and maybe a few side characters might work, from previous encounters? I dunno. Maybe a few at max?

I dunno, it depends on how many people join. Obviously if there are a lot we'd need to limit it, but if there are only a few I think multiple characters would work great.
