Roxas picks Mary up, tending to her wounds. "I wonder who did this to her..." He says.

Jake steps out of the bar, sighing. As he walks towards his home, the people in his way simply disappear, reappearing behind him, many of them confused. This soon leads to people avoiding his presence, sidestepping him as he approaches. Jake knows that the two men were unsuitable parents. They had no experience or skill in parenting, and had no idea what they were doing with the child. Furthermore, Dragonkin are rare, and in these areas, not very loved. With racism so stron, abuse wouldn't be the greatest threat to such a child, as trained slavers would descend upon her and attempt to capture her. A captured dragonkin, esspecially a mage, was a vital asset in war, and countries would be willing to pay thousans of gold coins to have on in their "patriotism academies" where the child would be trained from birth into a follower of the nation. Jake had tried to help, in his own way, but there was no doubt almost every major faction that heard of the child would place it's bets in the pool, and attempt to acquire it for itself. A child, after all, could still be brainwashed into a loyal servant.

Roxas hugs her. "Well, no one is going to hurt you now...don't wander away from me, and you'll be fine." Roxas finished healing her, very faint outlines of her wounds remaining.

Roxas then notices that the dragon is missing. "Where's her dragon friend?" He thinks to himself as he looks around for it.

"It would probably be best to head back to an inn." Roxas says to himself as he walks through the crowd, holding on to Mary.

Mary stays out-cold despite the people around them being noisy. Roxas finds a small, old inn. It looks a bit wreaked but through a window it looks nice and cozy inside.

Micah
I step quietly into a small tavern, my boots thudding lightly on the floor as I walk. Several heads turn as I pass, to say the least I'm fairly infamous in the wizarding community. I'm known largely for my love of fucking with everyone nearby.
I approach the bar and take a seat, bringing a Marlboro red short to my mouth and lighting it with a snap of my fingers. Though illusions are my fortè, I happen to be fairly experienced in the arts of fire magics, though I rarely use them for more than lighting a cigarette.
The tender approaches me timidly, and speaks in a mouse-like tone, gesturing to a "No-smoking" sign.
"Y-Y-You c-can't smoke in h-h-here."

I glance up at him with a slight smirk, then lean in and whisper.
" Hypocrite "

Very suddenly he lets out a deranged cry as a smoke-stack protrudes from the center of his head, smoking like a chimney. He jumps about screaming, and I laugh aloud, putting out my cigarette as the stack sinks back into his head.
"Enough of the theatricals we both know your perfectly fine."
He feels around his head, checking to be sure the bulge has left before scurrying into the back room.
A large, muscular man, steps behind the bar and pours me a large glass of Vodka, on the rocks. He slides it towards me and I take it all down my throat in a fast swig.
"I'll take the bottle tonight Julio, and you might want to bust out two or three more. I want to forget that trick so it'll still be funny tomorrow."
The man, Julio, nods and walks into the backroom, soon returning with the other bottles. I begin to lay down two fresh fifty dollar bills, but am stopped short by Julio's grip.
"On the house." He grunts in his gravelly voice.
I wink and chuckle aloud
"It's a tip."

I light another cigarette and pour myself the second glass of many as Julio opens a window.

He finds it is an avrage old timey style inn. A old woman is at front desk. No one pays much attention to Roxas, Mainly because few people are there. The old laidy smiles at Roxas. Mary wakes up and starts crying, shes hungry. The old laidy frowns at the crying and looks a tad angry at Roxas. Some people begin to stare at Mary and Roxas.

Jake checks his email on his phone. Then he sighs. Damn. Hurry, Micah is in town. He's in the Second Chance. James was a good enough boy, but Jake would happily have throtled the child, if it would change the news. Unfortunately, it wouldn't, and as thus, Jake sent his thanks. The last time he had seen the Trickster Mage, he had managed to get himself banished from three Orc Tribe-Cities in a single night, quite an achievement indeed. In fact, Jake doubted that any mage had more assassins at his neck than this fool, constantly getting in trouble and making enemies. Unfortunately, none of them had managed to put him down, which meant Jake now had the unpleasant task of attempting to ensure he wouldn't send the town into anarchy. This was his home, after all, and he felt to some degree responsible for the populace. Furthermore, such a state of chaos would surely not be beneficial for him in any way.
In a purple shimmer, Jake appeared in the Second Chance, looking around the small inn until he spotted Micah. Getting drunk. Good God. This was going to be an absolute catastrophe, Jake could see that already. Sighing, he appeared on the stool next to Micah, a glass of wine in his hand, although he did not drink. "Micah. It's been a long time. I trust you aren't here to cause any more mischief?" It was more of a formal question than a real enquiry. Jake knew as surely that Micah would cause mischief as that the sun would rise the next morning. Some things in life were just fixed. And Jake had the unpleasant, unfortunate, and wholly unfair duty of attempting to limit the damage. And no amount of cursing the Gods would reverse this terrible twist of events.

Micah
I glance over with a wide smirk, then fake shock;
"Trouble? Me? I am truly offended."
I say chuckling before drinking another glass of Vodka and lighting another cigarette.
"And my boy, I'd put down the wine. You and I both know I'm a fan of Wine and Tequila, yet I'm drinking a Vodka. Do you actually think that I would put up with this vile liquid if it were not for the fact that every bottle of merlot is brimming with poison."

I twirl my fingers around the rim of the wine-glass and a smokey skull and crossbones appears above the dark liquid.
"Now, despite how much I wish you and others would visit me just because you enjoy my company, I know this is not the case. So, to be blunt, what do you want?"
I ask, dragging deeply from my cigarette and blowing it out my nose.

"Don't worry about my health. It's unsettling, to say the least. And this wine is from the Eastern Orc lands, provided by a very well-paid grapeyard, and an even better-paid brewery. When you give people money, they would rather you stay alive, and keep paying them." Jake sighs, putting down the wine, his appetite, which was scarcely there to begin with, ruined. "Not that you would know, having never earned an honest cent. I'm here because I call this little scumhole my home. I know, it's not much, and I admit I could do better, but it's nice and quiet. And really, I have no need to place myself close to the shops." Jake chuckles to himself, before returnign to the situation at hand. "Quite frankly, Micah, if you make problems here, then we're going to have a problem. And you do not want to have a problem with me, Micah. You don't have many friends, nobody who would care if you went missing." Jake let the threat hang in the air, sighing, his face uncharacteristically serious.

Micah
I look into Jake's eyes and displace something that has never been seen before in my eyes, and is unlikely never to be seen again. Absolute and utter sadness. I lean in and whisper so quietly it's barely audible;
"I am unable to be removed from this existence, I've tried myself in every way imaginable. "
The look on my face remains for a moment longer before my smirk returns.
"To be completely honest, I'm surprised that I haven't seen you here sooner. I've been living in the area for about..."
I trail off, then shout to "Julio, about how long have I been coming here?"
"About six months." His deep voice booms from the backroom.
I point in the direction of his voice with a cigarette in hand.
"See? I've been here six months without incident."

((What exactly do dragonkin eat? XD)) Roxas simply ignores them all and gives Mary a bottle of goat milk. ((I'm taking a shot in the dark by doing that.))
