[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

The offical went began to speak. "Mike Fetar has forfeited the match. The victor is 'Dragon Master' Liam Coleman." The score board changed to show Liam's picture, and those of his sox used Pokémon with the words: "Winner, congratulations" Once the crowd stopped cheering he continued. "As for the issue with the Rotodex, since something like that has never been seen before in the tournament, there is no offical rule against it." Liam would bet his bottom Pokédollar that one would be added to the rules now though. The fireworks began to go off as Deoxys passed out from the poison. Liam recalled it, praisng it for the hard work. Liam went to get a good vantage point for the show and began to strategize for his attempt to take on the Elite and Shiranui. He would have about a day to get ready, and for his Pokémon to rest up.

"Not the most preferred way to win a battle," Shiranui mused with a bemused smile on his face, "You still have Chuck to defeat in the grand final before you can take on the Elite Four and eventually me." He knew after this battle the rules would have to be discussed and rewritten to accommodate the Roto Loto as was the case before when Mega Evolution, Z-Moves and recently-catalogued Pokémon were first showcased in a Pokémon League.

Mike leaned against the stadium wall after healing his Pokemon listening to the fanfare and fireworks for Liam. "You know, had I not chosen a moral high ground, that battle would of ended in my favour" Mike said with a chuckle to Rotom who could tell Mike was annoyed but he seemed to be happy at the same time. Though their interaction were limited when Sashia and her Rotomdex came to congratulate them for getting the semi-finals at least. Though if the officials seeked him out to talk about the Roto lotto powers he would happily show them what he could do.

Liam got fully prepped for the next battle. He took his spot to be ready for when his name was called for the final round.

Chuck was exhausted just watching them, but he went off to prepare for the finals. This was going to be a challenge for him, especially after that intense battle he watched.

It was nearly sunset, the ref used their Poketch to determine who got the first move. He asked Chuck to call it.

Chuck called out "Heads." as he took his spot on the field.

The official flipped the digital coin and it came up heads. Chuck got the first move. The official told them to send out their first Pokémon, and that on sunset Chuck could make an attack.

“Hitmonchan, it’s time to shine!” Hitmonchan emerges from his balll and bumped his fists together a few times to pump himself up.

"Let's go Azriel!" Chuck said, sending out his Alakazam. He waited for sunset to attack.

The scoreboard was set. The ref called “begin!” right on sunset.

"Azriel, Psychic!" Chuck called out. The Alakazam raised it's spoons, it's eyes glowing as it tried to throw the Hitmonchan with it's psychic powers.

“Detect!” Hitmonchan managed to avoid the super effective attack.

"Before he can counter attack, use Disable!" Chuck said. Alakazam's eyes glowed again, as he blocked the Hitmonchan from using Detect again.

[Mike the Bloodwolf]

Aftee some time and a little brooding from Mike, the siblings soon returned to their seats just as the two finalist sent out their Pokemon with both of their Rotomdex's watching the battle intently. Mike was being as casual and as laid back as normal as he watched the battle.

“Now, Focus Punch!” Hitmonchan began to throw a punch that,thanks to his ability of Iron Fist would deal a good chunk of damage, despite the Alakazam’s type advantage.

"Azriel, it's open while focusing! Hit it with Psychic before it can attack!" Chuck called out. The Alakazam tried to throw it against the wall while it was trying to focus it's attack.

Hitmonchan was hit and lost the focus. “Hitmonchan, return. Go Jiriya!” Liam swapped Hitmonchan for his Protean Greninja.

'Night Slash!" Liam ordered. Jiriya became dark type and launched the attack.

Tesla couldn't react in time and got hit, knocking her back. However, she quickly recovered as Chuck called out "Double Kick!" The Jolteon sped forward and kicked at the Greninja twice.
