[IC] Pokémon Battle Frontier

Koneko took on the gym this time, four Pokemon at her side. Squirtle who had a bit of training, much more than Neko's Bulbasaur when it took Flint on, Kakuna who only knew harden, so not much to say about that, Nidoran (f) who at this point just learned double kick, and pidgey who got 3/4 of the same training as Squirtle.

She took on the gym pretty easily. Only using Nidoran and Squirtle. Nidoran had fainted on Onix and Squirtle got to half health when she defeated Flint. The two decide to go to the centre and heal their pokemon while resting a bit.

After the rest of the contestants made their appeals,Lillian made her announcement. "Now, We have our top eight coordinators!" She announced as the eight pictures appeared on the screen. "Now, we shuffle them up into the match ups!"

After the rest, the twins go to the shop nearby and buy more pokeballs as well as potions before they were to leave the city and move onto route 3.

"Yes." The man in front of Inuzu said. "I liked hearing about what you did with the forest. You must train to become stronger so you can do much worse."

"Worse?" Inuzu questioned. "What do you mean, worse?"

Liam took a seat in the green room with Jiriya to watch the battles.

Shiranui quickly won his quarter-final battle through Sapphire (his Sableye) wiping the floor with an Ekans.

The twins make their way into route three. It was a really long path with a variety of boulders and rocks. They get stopped by a trainer. It was a lass. The battle had been initiated and Koneko throws out her Squirtle while the lass throws out a Pidgey.

Liam finished off his opponent using Sylveon and defeated a Farfetch'd. liam took his place for the final.

Shiranui took his place for the grand final.

"Begin!" Lillian announced.
"Sylveon!" Confetti burst from the ball as Sylveon emerged.

"Sapphire, I choose you!" Lots of black streamers, iridescent sparkles and black smoke came out of Sapphire's ball. The smoke coalesced into Shiranui's Sableye.

"Start with Shadow Ball!" Liam ordered.

"Sapphire, time to play catch! Use Fling!" Sapphire caught the Shadow Ball and infused it with dark energy. The move turned into a six-pointed shuriken and Sapphire threw it back at Sylveon.

"Throw it back!" Liam called. Sylveon caught it with one of her ribbons and flung it back, nicking herself in the process.

"Use Poison Jab to hit it back!" Sapphire's fist glowed a putrid purple colour as she wound up and punched the attack back. The combined attack took on a putrid sheen of purple.

"Protect!" Liam called. A Green shield was summoned and it absorbed the poisonous attack.

"Sapphire, Power Gem! Mega Ring activate!" Shiranui activated his Mega Ring and Sapphire was enveloped in an orb. When the orb shattered, Sapphire sported larger fin-like ears, ruby red jewel ryes and the now-Mega Sableye was holding a pink Rupee-like crystal in front of her that was taller than her own height. Sparkly pink light issued from Sapphire's crystal heading straight for Sylveon.

"Dazzling Gleam!" Liam ordered. Sylveon was hit and than fired her own blast.

Koneko defeated both Pidgey's that the lass had and the twins continue further down, reaching another pokemon centre, where they heal their pokemon.

Sapphire used her crystal to block Sylveon's attack and despite getting hit by some of it, the crystal converted the light it did refract into pink laser beams that emitted out of the vertices.
