The world as we know it has ended... There''s no hope left for the world, great cities once raised by humés now lays in ruin and their entire race have gone extinct. Only we Pokémon remain in the land, but our specie is dwindling by the day and soon there will be none left of us.
The ones that still survive have done so with a combination of skill, the ability to adapt and sheer luck. There's no signs of any end to the dissasters that plauge our world, they are beyond our control and all we can do is to endure them daily and hope... that a day will come when everything ends may it be the complete destruction of our word... or the end of these terrible events.
My name is Erego, I'm a Flareon... perhaps the last of my kind. As a Fire type i have provided heat for my allies on cold nights, and lit up the darkness that have fallen. Many look to me as a Beacon of hope, and I do everything I can to continue to Burn bright for those in need.
I proudly wear the scars on my body from battles and disasters, and I cherish each of them as an event that I actually survived. When I started my journey I was alone, and my trainer who I can no longer completely remember was no more... It was with grief in my heart that I pressed on. Nights with storms, thunder and rain drained my strength constantly... but I did not give in, nor did I surrender. I fought against the elements, I fought against those who stood in my path, and I continue to fight upon this day... For a better world, in which we can finally know peace.
We live in a old ruin from a forgotten age, and so far it have been our sanctuary atop of a high ground where the flooding haven't reached us, and where the earthquakes haven't torn the ground away beneath our paws. Here we have endured storms and tornadoes by digging in deep and hiding beneath the ground, here we have a defendable location that we watch over constantly.
The elements are not the only danger, Pokémon whom gone insane... whom want to steal our 'home' away from us by force remain a constant threat. One became two... two became four... four became seven... and seven became twenty... then twenty became thirteen... we have gained new allies, and we have lost good friends.
We must do what we can to survive, do what we must... to prevail. We cannot save everybody, we cannot let everyone inside. Yet we can let those in who deserve it, those that have proven themselves worthy of our trust. It may not sound fair, but with such an unfair world we must make sacrifices... otherwise we will all perish.
"Up and at them, a new day have dawned... I thank our night watch kindly for their hard work, and the stars that we for another night have survived. Now I wish to inform everyone that Our Stock of food is constantly dwindling, and that we must continue to search.... We cannot spare everyone, at least four of us must remain here at all times to protect this place. The rest will split up in groups of three, that way we can watch each other's backs out there... and stand a fair chance that at least one will live to tell the tale" Erego spoke loud and clear in front of everybody atop of what remained of a crumbled pillar.
The Flareon nodded as he looked to the pokémon around him but also over yonder as far as his eyes could see. "So who wishes to stay behind?... " he said before giving everyone a chance to respond, if more than four wished he would need to choose among them. "I shall go north, as I have a disadvantage near the ocean even thought its mostly dried up. I intend to reach the peak in the north today and hopefully search the caves for survivors... So who wishes to follow me? I should tell you now that the chances for danger is very high... but it may be worth it if we can gain new allies" he said as he waited for any volunteers.
