This version of Reincarnation Wars has a more definite story line and setting in place than past Reincarnation Wars for simplicity's sake. The Darkness, God, Amara, Death, Yog Sothoth, Shup Nikkurath, Azathoth, and Sargeras are all united in their opinion. Earth Dimension must be wiped out of all life and replaced with the superior life forms; Homo Supreme. Homo Supreme are ni unto gods, with the potential to elevate their superiors AND gain in power all at the same time by providing worship.
Humans are in danger. In fact, all life forms other than Homo Supreme are in danger of annihilation.

We are the Earth's only hope. The MULTIVERS'ES only hope. The Awakened. We possess the souls of famous heroes, villains, or otherwise notable people from the multiverse, and thus, their powers. By combining our past lives, we can rise up and defeat our enemy. These people are like "Spiderman", and not "Fuzzy the Dinosaur from one of my role plays".

If I understand correctly, they are names of people/characters that the personality of the character in the example is based off of.

Given the existence of an unfilled souls section, it's the best I could derive. Still, pitching this for what it's worth as "It's my character." doesn't address the question.

What's confusing me is the fact there's a personality section and a souls section. I mean, if the personality is an amalgam of the souls then why is it needed in the first place?

History
God, he hates bugs! It started with living in an apartment full of ants or roaches, it depended on who was living next to him. When they got the miracle of moving to a suburb, he got trapped by a wasps nest. When the medics arrived, he was on deaths door with venom. A month later, when he finally left the hospital, he went out of his way to not only rid his house of bugs, but as many neighbors homes as well. When he turned 18, he apprenticed for the local poison-sprayer and have been stomping roaches ever since.

There was nothing in her life that was out of the ordinary, save perhaps for the occasional ghost stories, or some drunkards at the convenience store. So it came as quite a surprise when her powers awakened, granting her power in exchange for a life of fighting for Earth.

So she dropped out of school at around seventeen to get a full time job and live on her own. She still talks with her mother from time to time, but isn't capable of more than that.
