With feet blackened by cinder, the traveler walked alongside their horse. They breached into the light of dawn illuminating a land foreign to them: a land said to house a power capable of reversing death. They sought that power. Theirs weren't the only ash-ridden footsteps cresting the ridge between two spires of mountains. They hadn't come alone to trespass upon the forbidden land.
By royal decree no one may enter into the great valley containing the shrine of worship. But it was the soldiers of the queen who torched your village into but charcoal and brittle, reeking bone. Now you all seek what you've lost, individually, but as an effort together: you want your families back. Brothers, sisters, daughters, mothers, husbands, wives. Some may have had no family but lost friends they care steadfastly about. One thing is common among all participants: a willingness to cross this majestic bridge and enter into the Shrine of Worship.
No familiarity with Shadow of the Colossus will be required to participate in this RP. The setting will be different but very similar to the game. Some rigidity will be apparent in the events of the roleplay as one might expect, but turns of events initiated by the players are very welcome! Thanks for showing interest. Any number of forlorn travelers are welcome, carrying with them the burnt out remains of countless memories.
