Standing quietly, Simon nodded as the woman announced herself as Strabella to him, as well as the others in the forming group. He had partially ignored the man who spoke about having his own ship, since if they wanted to set said, the ship that they would use would have to be fair in size. Having to work with a crew just starting as pirates would mean that they'd have to word hard to earn a name for themselves, and a small ship wouldn't help them. He quietly munched on the assorted fruits as the people continued to speak, and he was pretty surprised by the people he had just met. Each of them were unique in their own way, and for a small second he had actually considered moving his infamous "Land Pirate" status to the seas where he belonged. He could help these people in their quest to become famous pirates, and a change to visit the grand line isn't something to pass up.

Simon had a small but known reputation in the village as a land pirate. He couldn't leave the village due to attachments, and even before that he wasn't the most honest person. He didn't steal or take constantly, but he did it just enough to form a reputation of it. He didn't have a bounty, which he was thankful for, but he knew that if were to ever get caught even once one would be placed on his head. Escaping from his musings, Simon looked as a new person spoke up about not becoming pirates. It was a pretty foolish thing to say to the ninja-child, since his youthful fire wasn't going to be put out so easily. Simon simply listened as the boy spoke passionately about becoming a pirate and unknowingly fully convinced Simon to help them take to the seas. "Hey." Simon spoke up, trying to get the attention of the people as he stopped eating. "If you want to go and take to the seas, we should head out to the docks and find ourselves a ship to start out with. It's still morning. There should be more than a few ships to pick from." He picked up another exotic fruit and ate it, enjoying the taste as he moved his eyes to the ninja boy.

Strawbella Parfait

"Oh my, such an adorable creature..." Strawbella seemed to be a little distracted by the pangog. It just seemed so friendly... She couldn't help put give it a playful pat on the head, before leaning over to scratch it behind the ears. "Good boy~"

She didn't take much heed of what Toridus said, however. Chances were she already had a bounty on her head, after all, and it wasn't like she was going to engage in criminal activities or anything. She would be nothing more than a simple chef, after all.

As for Rita, well...

"It is admirable that you think yourself to be more mature than your age would suggest, Lady McMannus," she said with a smile, unable to believe that Rita was actually the age she claimed to be. "But a young lady should not be so... Forthcoming, um... It is... Rather embarrassing, really..."

Still petting the pangog with one hand, Strawbella finished off her tea. "Well, I suppose we should make haste then. It would be most dreadful if we dawdled and there were no ships left when we arrived at the docks, after all."

Mushuro stopped munching on fruit and perked up as soon as the members of the group started mentioning getting a ship and becoming pirates for real, with even the ears of his panda hat seeming to twitch to attention as the words were uttered. Not that Mushuro wasn't already a real pirate, of course! It was just that he didn't have a ship or a captain or a crew or a bounty yet, that was all. But at the others' decision to become pirates, he suddenly started grinning ear-to-ear, his panda hat almost seeming to smile with him despite his mask concealing most of the expressions of his face. He stood up and oddly enough started stretching, and as he did an odd sound bubbled up around him. A sound that might even generously be called...laughter? It started as a low, almost hissy giggling, like he'd been unaccustomed to laughing very much but was enjoying it anyways, before moving into a full on boisterous-yet-weird sort of belly laugh as he threw his head back into the effort!

"Mushishishishishii!....Pahn-dahahahahahahahahaaah!~ I'm gonna go get us a ship in the blink of an eye! It'll be awesome and cool and eventually we'll be known throughout all the seas of the world, I promise! We officially start our journeys...TODAY!"

With that Mushuro dashed off impulsively using the same blurring running speed he initially entered the bar with, heading at a rapid pace toward the docks and echoing his strange laughter all the way there.

Any anti-pirate speech flew far over Rita's head, and not because the person saying it was taller then her. She really wasn't paying so much attention to it was the more obvious reason. No, her attentions were focused on... taking off one of her shoes. She had to, after all. There was no way she was going to let anyone see her as an actual child! This... naturally led to her rather clumsily falling over onto her rear. But she got her shoe off and that was important! ... Even though she didn't want to mess up in front of a pretty girl. She rummaged a bit in her shoe and proceeded to pull out... eight pages, all neatly signed(one including a frowny face beside the signature).

"See?! See?! I've got papers that prove I'm enough of an adult to... to handle you! ... Hehehe..." the thoughts circulating inside Rita's mind made her smile for a moment... and then she realized the one boy was running off and people were talking about a ship or something?

"... Oh... yeah! Let's... go get a ship! I'm all good at looking at supplies and booze and pretty girls 'n stuff so I can do that kinda thing..."

Verdier was absolutely loving this, she loved to be the center of attraction, she was even getting scratched behind her ears just the way she liked it by the nice-smelling young lady, and the strange boy dressed like a fuzzy bear. She was a bit confused as to why total strangers were treating her so nicely, but she could smell they weren't bad people at all. She glanced back to her master to try and get some attention out of him too, nuzzling her wet nose against his thigh with yipping contentedly.

Toridus scratched her ears and that one special spot behind her neck that made her leg try to scratch the air rapidly, though a defeated expression rested on his face as he saw that nobody paid his warning any real head, not even the well-mannered young lady or her apparently adult friend. He wondered if anybody other than the child could even see him, that or they were too busy paying attention to Verdier to acknowledge him at all. When they all agreed to leave the bar to go and look for a ship for their shenanigans, Verdier yipped happily as she wagged her tail after them, literally picking up Toridus by the collar of his shirt by her teeth and dragging him off to the harbor, Toridus struggled but she wasn't going to let him go until they were on a ship. FOr some reason, Toridus seemed to understand exactly what she was doing, and shouted out:

"V-VERDIER, COME ON, I CAN WALK ON MY OWN! NO.NONONONONONONO, WE ARE NOT BECOMING PIRATES! VERDIER, I DON'T CARE IF SHE SMELLS LIKE FRUITS AND KNOWS JUST WHERE TO SCRATCH YOU, THAT ISN'T AN EXCUSE TO BECOME A CRIMINAL!"
He shouted as he struggled to free himself from Verdier's mighty jaw strength, but it was no use.
"Captain Aldreine is gonna kill us if he finds out about this..."

Simon had made sure to stay away from the little ninja boy as he rushed away. He knew what was going to happen anyway, and if the boy was as good as be believed, then the task would be much easier. If the boy could keep quiet, then he could easily sneak on and see how many men were on the ship, and if any of them had weapons or not. It seemed like none of them were armed at the moment, but they did have a large animal who seemed to easily carry a man, but that would come in handy later. Simon looked at the remaining people in the bar who wished to join this crew, the.... young woman... and the excessively polite and more lady-like woman. His hand moved up and motioned for them to follow as he turned around and walked to the door to the bar, the exotic fruit still in his hand. "We should go. I have a plan and if it goes right, we'll all have bounties by the end of the day." If they could see his face, a faint trace of a smirk could be seen as he left the bar, making his way to the docks in an impressive time.

"C'mon everyone! We need to set up shop before it gets busy!" One of them men called out. By his voice and appearance, he could have been fairly new to the ship. he was dressed in a simple shirt and vest, along with some loose pants that stopped at his shins, and a sword at his side. The sword, like many of the others accompanied with men on the ship, were fresh and new, seeming not to have been used very much or not at all. The ship itself didn't have any labeling, but anyone living in the village knew that it was one of the most popular and well stocked trading ships that made it's way to the village. It's name was "Fortune's hideaway," Bust simone knew that the neame would change soon enough and he was done with it. His Jade eyes scanned the ship, knowing well that this was the one that would start their pirate journey.

A rose haired youth entered the bar and overheard what they were doing and decided to follow them. He felt that going out on the open sea would be a great experience. . At any rate, it would be more fun then just staying in this port town for the rest of his life. It might even shed some light on his mysterious past. He watched the ninja clad boy jet out of the bar and then the others follow him. He left a small amount of Berries on the counter for his drink. He walked out of the bar and followed them maintaining shadow distance to keep them from noticing him. When he arrived at the docks, he searched for a moment until he found them. He walked up to the one that was eyeing the "Fortune's hideaway" and decided to help out. he tapped the one on the shoulder. "I will make a distraction, you make your getaway."

Mushuro hadn't heard the newcomer, as he had long ago jumped, climbed and scrambled his way onto the merchant ship, all unnervingly quickly and without ever making a sound. He had done all of this, naturally, because he felt that strolling up the dock to the ship and boarding from the gangplanks was a ridiculous idea. Sure, he was a pirate and pirates were bold and challenged the world while they laughed and probably were the sorts to attack a ship head on straight from the gangplank. But Mushuro was a ninja as well as a pirate, so instead of charging straight in he had leaped off of the docks and into the waters with not even the sound of a splash, from there swimming to the ship's side under cover of the docks and surfacing to climb up the side through previously mentioned jumping and scrambling before ultimately tumbling onto the deck itself.

Once there he moved from crate to crate and barrel to barrel as various merchant-sailors shifted them about, using his speed and shortness to always remain just out of view, almost making a game of it all to barely avoid being seen by the busy workmen and gathering as much as he could about them while he moved. They seemed hard-working as far as sailors and merchants went, and Mushuro could tell that their swords were barely used. He hadn't yet spied any rifles or pistols, which seemed like a good thing too.

Mushuro paused for a minute and took a bottle of something (rum?) from a crate that had yet to be re-sealed, pouring out its' contents and slipping a scroll and some ink in a waterpoof container from one jacket pocket and a brush from another pocket. He wrote down his general findings about the crew's numbers and his observations on them, the general layout of the ship and how difficult he thought taking it would be (personally not very) before slipping the length of scroll into the bottle and corking it, then tossing it with all of his ninja strength. The message-in-a-bottle whizzed through the air, and if he was as good at bottle-throwing as he was at shuriken throwing, would land right nearby his new party of friends in plain view.

That done, it was time for phase two of his brilliant ninja-plan to help seize control of this new vessel. It was a wondrous and cunning plan he had devised, oh yes. A plan so devious in its' nature, so intricate and manipulative in its' mechanisms, that if Grampa Hanzo knew Mushuro had come up with then he might even be a little bit proud, even if he'd probably kill Mushuro afterward. Yes, now was certainly time for that plan.

The little boy clad in what some people had described as "Panda Pajamas" suddenly popped up out of a barrel next to the sailor who was supervising the others, "Hi there Mistah! My name's Mushuro Hattori an' I'm gonna take over your ship so I can go to sea and plunder booty as a pirate! Yarrrrrr!~" Mushuro smiled as cheerily as he could through his mask and did his best to invoke every fiber of potential adorableness in his being, though he was dripping with seawater.

The man sighed. "Isn't this kid supposed to be a ninja?" he thought to himself. He had a felling that they would be attacked soon by Marines, or any of these merchants that have the guts to fight. He was ready to jump into the fray if it was needed. He decided to quickly grab that note in a bottle, since he threw it to them it might be important, or it could be a note of him saying he could clear them on his own, a feat which the man had his doubts a short fry like him could accomplish. Well maybe if he has a Devil Fruit Power he could. He returned to the group and handed it off. He told them, "Hey look at it this way, by the end of the day you might all have bounties."

In truth, he was in a way inviting himself along in this prospect. However, he knew he had skills that would be useful for a pirate crew and would prove them to the group if he needed to. Besides he already had a bounty on his head, for reasons he was unaware of, so what did he have to lose in becoming a pirate? He thought this group looked like they were a capable bunch. One that might be able to take the world by storm. He had been alone for a while, and he needed some friends. Besides, if he just stayed here, he might never find out why the Marines had such a high bounty on him, one of many questions that haunts him at night.

One Merchant confronted them with a sword. He quivered in front of them. The man touched the blade and with a smirk said: "Copy Copy Steel!" The man's body became encased in steel and his arm became a blade. He kicked the merchant away He was no ready to combat any one who dared to come at him.

Simon hadn't seen that technique coming. Many of the merchants on the ship didn't even truly process what he had said, and most of them were captured by his adorableness. He had hardly notice the glass bottle until the newest person had given it to him. SImon quickly opened it and read it's contents. He smiled at the handiwork accomplished by the little ninja boy, and with him being a big distraction it was far easier to take the ship by storm. Very few of the men on the ship hadn't been very affected by the panda-boy, and one of them had sliced at the newcomer. This was a signal for Simon, telling him that now was the time to take the ship.

Simon quickly rushed at the ship, jumping up as high as he could to get to the main deck of the ship. Many of them men were still incapacitated by the boy, but the few who did had noticed Simon on the deck, and walked over to him. It was still a merchant's ship, and only one men had done anything to raise suspicion , which wasn't all that much, Simon added mentally. They came at him with curious intent, and walked up to him slowly and calmly. Before one of them had the chance to say anything to Simon, The young man lunged at the speaking merchant and hit him with much force. It wasn't bone shattering, but only just under that level of pain. His fist connected with the merchant's face, and Simon quickly stood up and over the merchant, no looking at all of the others. "I walk on taking your ship. If you don't want to face the same pain as your friend, maybe even more, then I suggest that you leave this ship behind." None of them back away, and the a few of the merchants pulled out swords. What kid was going to tell them tm to abandon their ship? Certainty not this one. Simon took a stance and slowed his breathing. he didn't have and devil fruit powers, but he could use a sword to an extent, and was deadly with his unarmed hands.

The man clad in steel jumped up onto the deck, blocking one sword and knocking a sword out of another's hand. He turned to the merchant crew. "If you do not want to listen to him, maybe you will listen to me." He said. "As you can see, I have a Devil Fruit Power, and your swords have no effect on me. I will give you one more attempt to flee like the cowardly dogs that you are, or I will let him do his worst to make you regret the day you were born. To prove his point he walked over to one of the barrels. "Pretend this barrel is you." He made his finger extend out and it pierced the barrel all the way through. "That is what I can do if you make me angry." He was sure that here in a moment one of them would freak out at the realization of who he was. There was a chance since his wanted posters had been in circulation for a while. If it happened, they might jump ship and leave the pirates to be with the ship.

A young shark fishman walked along the docks where the ships had napped. He stopped, looking at the first sea chart he made with his best friend and mentor fizz. It was supprisely in good shape, had a tiny tear in it, but it was all good. Looking at this chart of the mystery island made memories over flow in mind. The lab and that odd devil fuirt charted at " project 37". "That devil fuirt ...i smelled some mad freaky energy from that thing. I guess it was man made.." he looked the chart and the drawing of the lab. " umm maybe one day I'll go back." He folded up map, placing in his backpack. He turned his head when he heard others. Cloud saw that group was near by a ship...pirates maybe?

Verdier bounded around the pier, her helpless owner still being dragged along by the collar of his shirt, which stretched just enough to let him breath as he was dragged and flung around by his "friend". They even passed the friendly old man from earlier, and in a desperate attempt to get some help he simply mouthed the words: "help me" as he flew on by, the old man confused, yet extremely amused by the sight, yelling something like: "Go get 'em kiddo" before going on his way. When Verdier finally caught the scent of the people from earlier on a ship, she happily barked as she stood looking at it, giving Toridus a moment of freedom to catch his breath and remember the unbridled fury he was supposed to be feeling. The vein in his forehead now visibly throbbing, he got to his feet and stood over Verdier, who turned to him with the same carefree expression as before...in fact he could have sworn the pangog was smirking. Before he could release his anger on her in a non-abusive way...probably just yelling at her, she bounded on his chest once again and grabbed him on the now-crumpled collar of his shirt and dragged him up the boardwalk onto the boat. Still flailing and trying to rip off his shirt's collar he helplessly and angrily flopped against the deck before Verdier finally gave him a good toss with a simple turn of her neck and bounding off to god-knows-where.

His back and butt now hurt as much as his pride, he slumped to the ground on impact, his rear slamming down before he simply lay down on the cold wooden deck. He sighed heavily, and angrily as he raised himself from the ground, absolute anger about to boil over as he dusted himself off. He thought for a moment about life, about the simple pleasures like, stabbing a Sea King and then eating it, stabbing a monster, and then eating it, training to stab things, and absolutely hating pirates with a passion and turning them in. The little things that kept him going in life. Thinking for a moment that he'd finally calmed down, he began walking along the deck, trying his best to remain calm as he stared out tot he ocean...so blue and wide...what a pretty, calming sit- *thwack*

One of the crew members of the ship had mistaken Toridus for one of the attackers, and so had hit him over the head with a thick, steel mace. Thinking he'd just successfully beaten one of the pirates, the man stood triumphately as Toridus slouched slightly, giving a loud laugh before saying: "GAHAHAHAHA, HOW WAS THAT,YOU TRASH? Now, come along quietly so we can get whatever your sorry hide is wo-" Toridus rose quickly from his slouched position, his head hitting the sailor in the nose sharply, and quickly, forcing him to jolt his head back in pain. The man tried to swing once more, but Toridus batted the arm holding the mace aside and put the man's wrist into a vicegrip, squeezing so hard the cracking of bones was audible. The man's muffled grunts of pain were only follows by a short: "Y-You damn robber, you-" before being thrown clear across the ship and slamming into another member of the crew being threatened by what looked like a man made out of metal, both the crewmembers were knocked clear off the ship, slamming onto the cold and wet boards of the pier unconscious. He felt the back of his head feel strangely...wet...briefly placing his index finger against the area of the mace's impact, he felt an intense, throbbing pain before seeing the blood on his finger. Looking over at the crew members being intimidated, he drew two of the spears from his quiver, and began slowly sauntering over to them, and in the loudest, yet most hoarse voice he could, he simply said: "I won't let...any... pirate scum...take...this..." before collapsing on the ground near the center of the deck, the spears in his quiver spilling as he retained his instinctual grip on the two in his hands, even while unconscious.
-Verdier Shenanigans-

Verdier bounded around the various barrels and crates littered about the place, helping herself to some of the meat as she went along, sneezing loudly when she stuck her nose into a jar of spices, wherever she went she tried to sample a bit of the larder and stock. As she made her way around, she finally cleared the spices from her nostrils and caught a whiff of a familiar scent...no, not the colorful fruity lady, it smelt more like a child. Her ears perked up as she identified it as the small boy dressed as a filthy vegetarian bear from earlier, and so she bounded off to see if he was in danger...the boy reminded her a bit of Toridus when they were on the island.

When she finally found him, her first reaction was to notice what he was doing...it vaguely resembled what she did when Toridus told her "no". Seeing that he was using the forbidden adorable-as-all-hell-hisatsu on some random chumps, she figured it'd be enjoyable to see their reactions if she joined in as well. Silently approaching and sitting on her hind legs next to Mushuro, she lightly raised one paw as if it were injured, and whimpered slightly, using all her mighty pangog strength to give the sailor the most adorable look a pangog could.

One of the men freaked out at this. "I-It's 'Carbon Copy Takeru!' Run for your lives!" a few began to flee, while some where foolish enough to stand their ground. Takeru's arms morphed into the form of swords and he began sword fighting two of them. He kept up with both of them, knocking people into the water as he beat them. If he kept this pace they should have the ship cleared in no time and they can leave. Once they did, he might be able to move on with his personal agenda, but since he would never have made it on his own, this seemed like a great time to go.

With the help of the new person. Simon found that it was extremely easy to take over the ship. It didn't seem to last very long, as many of the traders on the ship had either been injured or left the ship holding onto their lives dearly. The crew of the ship filed out quickly, leaving only the band of strangers on the ship. Simon looked around at all of them with a small smile on his face. They had all just successfully taken over the largest ship that came around these parts, and now they could actually start being pirates.

"Alright, everyone." Simon called out to the others. "We have the ship, the wind seems pretty strong today, and I think it's a great day to set sail!" His smile grew as he looked at them all and attempted to sort out the jobs mentally. This was what he considered the hard part about setting up a crew, because everyone needed to have a job, and the all needed to be happy with what they got. "Does anyone had in mind what they want to do while on this ship? I think that if we all find our positions now, it won't be a pain later on."

Takeru stepped forward. He stated that his expertise is in lock picking, but his Devil Fruit Power might be of good use for a shipwright. While it may not be his first choice, it is likely what he is best suited for. He also said that they should likely go around and learn about one another. He knew that he would not have much to say on this, but it would normally be a good point. He also inquired about their Jolly Rodger. Would it be simplistic like the Strawhat's or would there be more elaborate detail to it?

"I wanna be the Captain! Or do sneaky things and help people out with stuff and sometimes beat up bad guys and steal treasure, because that's what pirates do!" Mushuro had no idea if this was an official pirate job, but nuanced conversational skills and job application processes had never been high on the list of training given by ninjas to their children.

"No offense, but no pirate crew would be taken serious with a little kid as the captain." Takeru stated. "If we are going to be pirates, we need a strong adult to be captain." Takeru would be captain if it was needed, but it did not particularly matter to him. As long as he got to see the world, his questions could get answered and that is all that mattered to him. Takeru also wondered how long it would take for them to ask questions about his Devil Fruit Power, or why the merchants flipped out when they realized who he was.

Simon simply nodded at the red haired man in agreement. The Panda-boy could easily be a scout for the crew because of his speed and size, and if he were to ever be caught, then he could probably get out with his childish appeal. Simon looked at the Panda-boy and gave him a calm look. "I don't think that being the captain would do well for you. I can see that with your speed, size, and stealth you could be a scout of some sort, but I don't think that you could fit the role of a captain just yet. Maybe in the future." Simon said with a small smile as he thought about his own position. He didn't really know. it did seem that he was able to get them all there to take over the ship, but he didn't have any special skills like devil fruit powers, or the mastery of a weapon. He had the eyes of a hawk, but he couldn't stand being up in the crow's nest all day. He wasn't really sure, so he would simply help everyone else find their jobs before finding his own.

Takeru excused himself while went to give the ship's interior a good looking over to make sure there were no flaws. He wouldn't want the ship to fall apart in the middle of the ocean. In his search he found a replacement sail, just in case the one that is up got a tear. He pulled it out and returned to the deck, where he plopped the folded cloth down. "If this is blank, we can use it for our Jolly Rodger. I say we find which one of us is the best artist and have them draw the jolly Rodger, once we decide on what it looks like.
