Artemis listened to his story and could understand. "Well I don't see how any of the other lionesses have not already chose you." She said smiling. "Your a great guard and you are very compassionate." She said trying to softly hide that she was practically blushing.

"I could show your around if you like." Maisha offered with a sweet smile. She was glad she gained a member, that and there was now another adult in the pride besides just her and Olivia.

Gumu kept running, but slowed down a bit. He wanted to make the game challenging, but fair at the same time which he intended to do.

Deon had left the graveyard, his current home and was looking around for someone to torture, hopefully one that would spark his interest. Come on, give me something evil to do. He said impatiently in his mind.

Nikko laughed as he slowed down and pawed Gumu on the shoulder. "Tag your it!" He said taking off running again. Kalina ran around Gumu seeing he was tagged and laughed. She wanted to try to catch them. They were really fast runners.

Cyren smiled softly at her words, thanking the fact that he wasn't blushing from them. As he looked over at her..he could almost feel the heat from her face. "Maybe I'm just not one of the lucky ones." He shrugged, as he chuckled before he tilted his head. "And..To be honest, I don't think many lionesses actually stop and talk with me like you have. Thank you."

Artemis smiled as he said that. "They should have given you a chance." She said smiling and laughing. She was starting to feel a strange feeling in her chest. She had not felt this way around someone except her dead mate. She loved and even missed this feeling.

Cyren then nudged her side with his head. "I can see... where they got their energy from." He teased Artemis. It seemed around the lioness, the blonde lion could not rid himself of the smile on his face.

Artemis laughed and nugged him back. "Well I was very energetic when I was younger. Its key to stay in shape to survive." She said giggling and happy to just be talking to someone. It wasn't even hard to do. It was almost completely natural.

"That is true." He chuckled, as he tilted his head left, then right, to pop his neck. Cyren's shoulders sagged in relief. "Thank goodness..My neck has been stiff for a while now."

Artemis tilted her head. "I can imagine you are sore a lot." She said feeling bad for him. She knows what he does and she knows it can be tiring. "How often do you take a break from work? Other then today of course." She said laughing brushing his side softly.

"I don't take breaks...I am working from Sun up to Sun down...even past that, sometimes. I like to work." Cyren explained, brushing his side against hers in return. Why, he did not know.

She tilted her head at him softly. "Wow that has got to be very hard." She said with a small sigh. "You should always take a break now and then. It is going to take too much out of you." She said trying to reason with him with out being too pushy about it.

"I would... if I had a good reason to." Cyren smiled at her. "Someone a bit worried about me?" He teased softly, though he was grateful for her worry.

Artemis smiled. "Well you may have a reason...if you want to teach Nikko." She said laughing teasingly. "That's up to you." She said placing her paw slightly closer to his silly.

Cyren smiled, before he noticed her inch her paw towards his. He moved slightly closer, with a good excuse..He was moving so that he could see the cubs better. His paw brushing hers, Cyren looked at her, smiling, his emerald gaze going back out to her son. "Count on me..being around..then."

Artemis could feel her heart pounding as he spoke. She smiled as he said that. "Thank you. That means a lot to me." She said giggling softly as she looked back at the kids again to make sure they were still having fun.

Cyren shook his head lightly. "It means..a lot that..you want me around, too." He chuckled softly, as he set his eyes on the cubs. They were fast, no doubt about that.

Gumu laughed as he started to chase them, having loads of fun. He decided to try and get Kalina first so she could have a turn to chase.

Kalina smiled and slowed down a tad bit so she could be tagged but still going fast enough to make it a fun. "You can't catch me!" She yelled out laughing as she ran around through the tall grass.

Artemis smiled as he said that it meant a lot to him. "I am happy that you are happy." She said giggling. "I am glad to have met you Cyren." She said trying to hide the heat from her face.

"I'd like that. Thank you." It was a small pride at the moment, but it didn't bother Kisari. For someone whose been on her own most her life, this was better than nothing.
