Claire smirked and took Cass's hand, pulling herself up and dusting her rear end off. Listening to Cass she had to take a moment to figure out just what in the hell the woman was saying between the whispering and the laughter. After a moment her eyes widened and she looked at her brother turning redder and redder as he hide his face beneath his hand, his cigarette burning between his fingers and a trail of smoke trailing up towards the sky.

Then it happened, Claire fell out laughing, falling back into her rear end and rolling around on the ground. She was basically laughing her ass off as tears rolled down her cheeks. Murphy growled some and kicked at her but Claire managed to roll out of leg lengths reach as she kept laughing. Somewhere in the laughter she tried to get out the following.

"Bastard always be fainting when he gets a jolt of emotional relief after a stressful situation. Surprised ye ain't seen it happen before but trust me, be perfectly normal for him. Damn man be getting the vapors and shit."

"Aww to hell with the both of ya," Murphy said trying not to let out an embarrassed laugh. "I'm hungry, who be wanting food?" he said trying to change the topic but it was obvious by the color of his cheeks he would have handled getting pants a lot better than fainting.

Grinning wider than the cheshire cat, Cass pressed her rear against a wall and had a good laugh at the situation and at Claire's reaction to Murphy's maiden in distress bit. The duo never failed to make Cass smile and she always loved seeing the family bond between them. She felt like she could experience this part of life through them since she had no siblings of her own to have the experience with. It was both heart warming and slightly sad for Cass but she tried to see only the positive in it each time she was with them. (Which was a lot!)

Barking out a laugh, Cass heard Claire's words and she looked at Murphy with a questioning look. She'd never pegged him for a fainting fancy but there he was - and Claire had just confirmed that this wasn't a one time deal! "Should 'ah invest in some smellin' salts, aye?" Her grin was wicked and she gave him a quick wink before placing her hands on her hips as she pushed herself off of the wall. She made her way towards Claire and helped her up again and laughed along with her bestie at Murphy's expense.

Hearing Murphy trying to hide his embarrassment just made him all the cuter in Cass's opinion and she smirked as she walked over to him during his question. "Nae chance pal, this yin is ne'er goin' away. No matter how you try to change the subject." She bit the tip of her tongue between her teeth as she gave a playful smile, her eyes staring into his as she casually walked forward. She stopped just short of arm's length from him before turning on her heel and looking to Claire.

"C'mon, lets get yer darling daisy of a bruv a seat 'fore he has a faintin' spell again." She then turned on heel again and walked towards Murphy and hooked her arm in his and dragged him towards where Claire was. "Where's for scran?" She gently patted her tummy and looked between the siblings.

"Gurl, why ya thinks I be always keeping them on hand? Ain't fer fights," Claire laughed as she got helped up yet again. At this rate her rear was going to be bruised from laughing her butt off. Looking over at Murphy she couldn't help but keep laughing it was just funny to her. She knew he couldn't help it but it was just one of those things that siblings likes to rag each other about. He ragged her about shit, she ragged him, they ragged each other. If she wasn't laughing at him, she was fighting with him, if they weren't doing one of those two things something was seriously wrong. So to her, right then everything was right in the world.

Murphy rolled his eyes as he looked down at Cass before pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "Yer just about as bad as she is," he scolded but in a playful manner before Claire slipped up on his other side and took his arm as well. Sighing he started heading for the parking lot. He knew he was out numbered right then. He would have wished Conner was there to back him up but he knew that wouldn't make matters any better. Conner would have been screwing with him just as much as Claire and Cass were. Too bad English was occupied with Tasha, maybe he would have his back. Nah, he'd laugh right along side Dr. Ice.

Things in the recovery room were quiet, the staff would peak their head in every so often to check on Tasha. They kept quiet and did what they could not to wake her when they checked her vitals before slipping back out of the room again. Some food was brought on a tray and left on the table but it wasn't for Tasha, it was for Lincoln. She wouldn't be on solids for a few days most likely. IV's today until she felt up to trying just some clear liquids. There would probably be some more rounds of Chemo just to be safe. Dr. Kumar was sure he had gotten everything but only time would tell if there had been some little piece left behind that they just couldn't see during the surgery. It was a delicate place to operate on and he didn't want to risk going any further or keeping her under any longer.

Every so often, Tasha would open her eyes for a short time. Looking around the room worried that she had only been dreaming about being out of surgery. Once her eyes fell on Lincoln a small smile would come to her lips, her fingers curling back against his hand before she would drift back off to sleep. She wanted him to go and get some real rest but she didn't bother speaking up about it. She knew no matter what she said he wasn't going to leave her side and something about that comforted her; it also made her feel guilty. guilty that he had to be there in the first place, guilty that she hadn't let him be there last time. But it seemed at least part of that was in the past now. They were in a place, one close to where they had left off before she had broken things off. She wasn't about to take another huge step backwards.

Lincoln felt something brushing his face and quickly jerked backwards, his eyes blinking rapidly as he tried to focus on what was touching him. The cover from Tasha's pillow was getting sucked in and blown away by his breath and was tickling his face when he breathed in. He shook his head slightly and rubbed his face with his non-occupied hand before he stopped in his tracks, his free hand resting on his face as his eyes peeked out from between his fingers as he looked at Tasha, curled up on her side and holding his hand still. He had forgotten where he was for a moment, his nap having disorientated him.

He was glad to see that she was still there, that they hadn't taken her away from him while he had slept, that she was alive even if not 100% well again. He was unable to put into words or even actions as to just how happy he was that she'd survived the surgery. Reaching down to his thigh, Lincoln nipped himself just enough to make sure that he definitely wasn't dreaming. Nope, that hurt, he was awake and this was real. He leaned in and pressed his dried lips to the back of her hand and rested his forehead on it gently as he took some calming breaths. His face slowly rose and he watched her face, taking in each crease, line and pore as if it would be the last time he would get to see them.

Standing up slowly, Lincoln gently slipped his hand from hers and gave her a soft kiss on the top of her head before stretching out the muscles of his back. Sleeping on a chair was never a good idea, especially when you're hunched over the side of a hospital bed at the same time. He didn't mind though, of course he didn't mind. His spine cracked particularly loudly and his eyes widened as he stared down at Tasha, hoping that he hadn't woken her with it.

Natasha's eyes fluttered at the sound, opening slowly before her head turned. Looking around and spotting Lincoln standing there. A smile, even though weak, crept across her features. "You really should head back to home and get some rest," she said softly. She knew he would say no, that he was staying right there to keep an eye on her. She had to give him a damn good reason to leave her side. A thought crossed her mind and she reached up slowly, pinching her nose.

"You need a bath," she laughed softly before letting her hand fall back to the sheets. A knock came to the door and Tasha looked over as it creaked open slowly. It was Murphy, Claire, and perhaps another visitor.

"Morning Beautiful," Murphy said as he saw she was awake, giving a nod to Lincoln as he stepped in and held out a large stuffed bear. "Figured ya needed something better to cuddle with than that bony bloke," he chuckled as he walked over to her and handed it off. Clair came in with a bunch of balloons in one hand and in another just a single balloon that was half deflated.

"Thought you needed a pick me up," Claire squealed, obviously having taken in half a balloons worth of helium. The chipmunk like voice made Tasha burst out laughing in a way she hadn't in a very long time.
