Tatsuta

Name: Tatsuta Otoko
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Nature: Sweet yet sadistic, she'd encourage you to fight against hopeless odds just to see you struggle. Tatsuta is rather impish and likes to poke fun and make jokes at other people's expense. Still for all her cruelty Tatsuta is still a nice girl who ultimately means no harm from her pranks and hopes to help others if she's able. She can be rather smothering to her friends and dotes on her Pokémon like small children.

Dex Entry: Tatsuta went with a friend to Littleroot Town to help them move in when she came across some man being attacked by a poochyena. In a surprising twist in things, Tatsuta was able to calm the little dark dog and captured it with a pokeball. Her ability to tame and capture a wild Pokémon without a fight impressed the man, who was a Pokémon professor. Seeing that her friend no longer needed any help, Tatsuta decided to embark on a bit of a Pokémon adventure, seeking to explore the world and discover its mysteries.

Other: Tatsuta is very interested in treasure, from ancient fossils to wondrous technology. Currently she has found some sort of weird marble and an EXP Share, which she received from some Devon researcher after she saved him from a shady thug.

Pokemon Team:

Kage

Name: Kage the Poochyena
Age: Roughly two years old.
Gender: Female
Nature: A cheerful and playful little pup. Despite being a dark type Kage always seems to be on the bright side of things. Though she can be a bit cowardly and is scared of bugs, Kage will always be there when you need her.

Dex Entry: True to her nature Kage was just looking for someone to play with when she ventured close to Littleroot Town. She saw a big human and thought he'd like to play, so when Kage went up to him and he started running, she figured they were playing tag. Soon another figured arrived who played with Kage, and seeing how fun she was Kage decided to tag along with the girl. This girl, Tatsuta, gave Kage her name and a home.

Other: Kage is scared of bugs, making her much more jumpy and capable of dodging them, but also lowers her ability to fight them and thus her attacks are weaker and less accurate.

Tank

Name: Tank the Aron
Age: About seven years old.
Gender: Male
Nature: Tank is a fairly chill and relaxed Pokémon. He takes things in stride and goes at his own pace, allowing him to slow down for others or get over long due issues. He likes to act as a sort of big brother figure for other Pokémon, though he can be a bit shy around physically larger Pokémon.

Dex Entry: Tatsuta found this little Aron on a rough spot after he got beaten to a pulp by a couple of roughneck makuhitas. He was about to get eaten by some Mawiles when Tatsuta and her Pokémon arrived to save Aron. After taking him back to town to rest up at a Pokémon center, this little Aron came to Tatsuta’s aid when he saved her from a cave in. Afterwards Tatsuta decided to take the little iron Pokémon for herself, naming him Tank, and bringing him for more adventures.

Other: Tank is vital for Tatsuta’s treasure hunting, as he can sense valuable mineral loot like fossils, evolutionary stones, shards, nuggets, and other earthly wealth. He can also naturally see in the dark and thus has no problems navigating in pitch-black darkness.

Mint

Name: Mint the Ralts
Age:Ten years old.
Gender: Female
Nature: Much like other Pokémon of its kind, Mint is cautious of others and is uncomfortable around strong emotions. Yet unlike other Ralts, when Mint senses negative emotions she often feels the need to stop the negativity and help/comfort whoever needs it. Humble to a fault, Mint only wants to feel happiness.

Dex Entry: Like many of Tatsuta’s Pokémon, Mint was captured without a fight. She simply found the curious little Ralts one day while on a job between Petalburg City and Oldale Town. Tatsuta met Mint and her family while ducking out of a bad storm, and during their short time together Tatsuta managed to get the favor of Mint and her family. It was an odd experience for Tatsuta as she “communicated” with these Pokémon, but ultimately she got a friend out of it, so it's all good.

Other: Mint is rather affectionate and likes to give hugs, supplemented by her Heal Pulses to soothe pain and fatigue. However she's also a stickler for bed times and will enforce curfews with hypnosis if needed. Her innate telepathy allows her a far better understanding of both Pokémon and human minds, however she currently lacks the articulation to communicate herself beyond physical actions.

✦ Name: Kiara Bastion

✦ Gender: Female

✦ Nature: Kiara cares deeply for the people most close to her and retains a sense of duty when it comes to helping out other people. She likes to keep up an image of carelessness and humor however, this free nature of hers can lead to dangerous results when faced with an enemy's intent on serious damage. Although generally working alongside others, Kiara very much has her own agenda, though it's nothing for her fellow partners to be concerned with. All she wants is to keep her world safe; helping other Trainers she happens by is just the best way to go about that.

She does not view herself as inherently good as she does not believe in a world so black and white. If something seems like the right thing to do, she will do it, even if it does end up causing trouble later down the line. In this respect, she can appear naive and sometimes even selfish. But in the end, she'll use her skills only when it is backed by her full resolve and devoid of doubts.

✦ Dex Entry: Kiara wanders the earth in search of purpose and identity. In that time, she has found a friend and ally in several Trainers across the land. As to her origins, she hails from a simple town in the Hoenn Region and since her start as a Pokemon Trainer, has been dead set determined to lay eyes on a Lugia. And maybe eventually catch one too.

✦ Name: Meowstic
✦ Gender: Female
✦ Ability: Adaptability
✦ Moves: Shadow Ball, Double Team, Quick Attack, Take Down

✦ Nature: Meowsticis filled with bustling curiosity and, on occasion, bravery that exceeds even that of her Trainer. Always causing the most grief for Kiara, Meowstic won’t hesitate to investigate something and run off on her own; though in the end, she’s always quick to return to Kiara’s side.

✦ Dex Entry: Kiara’s first Pokemon and her partner in all things. Meowstic was the one who started her journey with her and will be the one to finish it in the end. Meowstic refuses to be placed in her Poké Ball and would much rather ride around perched on Kiara’s shoulder.

✦ Riolu ✦

✦ Name: Riolu
✦ Gender: Female
✦ Ability: Inner Focus
✦ Moves: Counter, Force Palm, Screech, Reversal

✦ Nature: Riolu is steadfast and immovable, often having to make sure Meowstic doesn’t get into trouble along with Staravia. She values loyalty above all else and will not flinch in protecting Kiara from all threats. Some have compared her to a butler and that’s not too far from the truth given how she acts.

✦ Dex Entry: Catching Riolu was a long and grueling process but one that was worthwhile. Ultimately, the battle had come down to Kiara and Meowstic alone. Impressed by their vast devotion to each other, Riolu did not hesitate in joining Kiara on her journey when she was eventually defeated.

✦ Staravia ✦

✦ Name: Staravia
✦ Gender: Female
✦ Ability: Intimidate
✦ Moves: Double-Edge, Steel Wing, Gust, Fly

✦ Nature: If Meowstic is the curious instigator, than Staravia is the analytic mind that thinks through situations in a cautious manner. She shares the duty of keeping Meowstic out of trouble with Riolu and prefers a quiet nap over all things. As such, it’s not uncommon for her to nest atop Kiara’s head.

✦ Dex Entry: The first Pokemon Kiara caught in the would. Starting out as a tiny Starly, both Trainer and Pokemon placed time and effort through training until at last Staravia was born. Now if only she could learn to fly Kiara around on her back…Staravia truly fears the day she evolves into a Staraptor.

✦ Nature: A reclusive young woman with a magnetic attraction towards normally dangerous pokemon. Lacks any sense for the personal space of others and enjoys close proximity with pokemon and people alike, leading to a habit of leaving her pokemon out of the ball when feasible. While she enjoys contact with others, a staunch dedication to being deadpan and invasive leads to many being disturbed by her presence. There have been a few exceptions to this rule, and these people are often showered with dead pan affection.

✦ Dex Entry: Born in Castelia City, Roma left the monument of modernity to travel towards the mecha of Trainers, Kanto. Her first and oldest companion was indomitable Tynamo she came to call Weaboo, a pokemon she came across bringing boundless grief to a fishing contest where every participant failed to wrangle the willy eel. Roma hadn't even intended to participate before the Tynamo slipped into the sleeve of her kimono and was intent to stay. Finding it rather cute and sporting the grand prize for the contest, a Super Rod, Roma took her Tynamo and went off on the road to Viridian Forest.

✦ Other: Due to constant exposure to an electric eel, poisonous baby squid, and fungus infested insect, Roma has been afflicted with a great deal of illness. By naturally overcoming her affliction, she has developed something of a resistance to the paralysis and poison her pokemon naturally spew when left out, though Spore has been insurmountable so far.

✦ Tynamo ✦

✦ Name: Weaboo
✦ Gender: Female
✦ Ability: Levitate
✦ Moves: Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark, Charge Beam

✦ Nature: A pokemon that could only be referred to as absurd. Despite its small stature, Weaboo causes irritation and debilitation head aches in everyone it interacts with, Roma excluded. It is remarkably chatty, though gives the impression that the listener should be glad they don't speak pokemon, or they may be liable to cut off their ears. Her actions don't seem to be malicious, but it is very irritating for anyone not named Roma.

✦ Dex Entry: Was playing around with a large group of fisherman when she saw an odd girl walking by. Leapt into Roma's clothes to see her jump out of her skin, but when Roma failed to do so, decided to make herself comfy.

✦ Tentacool✦

✦ Name: Tentacool
✦ Gender: Male
✦ Ability: Liquid Ooze
✦ Moves: Poison Sting, Constrict, Bubble, Supersonic.

✦ Nature: A newborn freshly hatched from the egg, this Tentacool is either resting in Roma's arms or clinging to her with its developing tentacles. It doesn't have the best control of its abilities and may act immature, but it does its best to make Rama proud. Is a powerful swimmer even at a tender age and delights in carrying Roma through the water.

✦ Dex Entry: The yet unnamed Tentacool came to Roma as a pair of abandoned egg from a daycare she passed by once. Over burdened as they were and with the trainer long since having moved on, they gave the Eggs to the only traier with an interest. Tentacool was the second to hatch, though the first pokemon had been gifted to one of Roma's travelling friends when it seemed enamored with the amnesiac woman.

✦ Name: Truffle
✦ Gender: Male
✦ Ability: Dry Skin
✦ Moves: Fury Cutter, Spore, Stun Spore, Absorb

✦ Nature: Due to its Dry Skin, Truffle shares in Tentacool's fondness for the water. Truffle was originally found when the baby Tentacool mistook Truffle for something it could eat, though luckily it was still too young to accomplish any harm to the bug pokemon lounging in the river bank. Thanks to its ability, the Paris was as good as new without Roma's intervention in seconds, and paid them for their disturbance with a shower of Spore to the face. The party fainted, only to awaken some time later with a very Bug type now roosting atop Roma's head.

✦ Dex Entry: Lacking in the irritation of Weaboo or the childish innocence of Tentacool, Roma considers Truffle to be much like the mushroom she named him after. Buried under dirt and grime, but worth the effort to weasel out. He's a curmudgeon to work with, and tends to try and crush Weaboo beween her pincers, but the Tynamo is as elusive as Mew in that regard.

Appearance:

Personality: Some would say that Juno is a simpleminded person, which is not very far from the truth. However, it's more like she's good natured and laid-back. She'll rarely get really angry with anyone and holding grudges is way beyond her. Likewise, it's rare for Juno to consider anyone as bad, or evil, at first sight unless they are doing something that can't be excused.

Despite all her carefree attitude, Juno can and will get serious when the situation demands it, such as during combat. Even if she's naive, Juno is not a complete idiot and will eventually realize if people try to take advantage of her in anyway.

History: Juno's story is kind of mysterious, she just remembers waking up in a hospital. After she completely healed of any wounds she might have had and was sent to an orphanage. Representatives of powerful corporation came to Juno with an invitation to 'adopt' her, after conducting tests to measure the aptitude of children from many places. Having nothing to lose, Juno accepted the invitation and went to live in the company's HQ, some hightech place sort of like a big hospital/laboratory. After some time she was allowed to leave and pursue whatever she wanted in life, though the company never revealed their intention with all the tests and experiments made on Juno. On the good side, they act as nice financial backers, making it so that Juno rarely has any sort of trouble with money.

Hider

Name: Abra.

Gender: Male.

Nature: Abra is a laid back Pokemon. His favorite resting spot is on Juno's lap, like a doll. Owing to his species inability in battle, Abra has a bit of a skitish attitude, which is tempered by his innate curiosity. For some reason it's atracted to shiny objects. All of this matters only on the rare occasions Abra is awake, of course.

Dex Entry: Instead of being the one to find him, Juno was the one found by Abra. Their first meeting happened when Juno was buying a ticket to a ship that would take her Hoenn. Abra appeared out of nowhere just as Juno sat on a bench to rest and refused to go away after that. With no other options, Juno was forced to capture it. These days Juno sees it more as a curious pet, not very different from a cat, except for the fact it can teleport around, instead of walking.

Ability: Inner Focus.

Moves: Teleport.

Other: None.

Hider

Name: Wobbuffet - Wobby.

Gender: Male.

Nature: Wobby is a cool being. He's also prestative and has a deep sense of humor, if only tainted by a bit of sarcarsm. Considering his helpful disposition, it's not rare to find Wobbuffet playing the role of Juno's buttler. The only thing Wobby isn't is a choleric guy, getting him angry is nearly impossible, no matter what happens.

Dex Entry: The story of Juno's and Wobby's meeting is a curious one, yet simple to understand. She saved him after Poke Circus where he was being abused, threw him away since "Wobbuffets aren't funny". Juno offered a bit of the candy she was eating to the hurt Wobby and took him to the nearest Poke Center, ever since when, Wobby has been loyal to her and follows Juno wherever she goes.

Ability: Shadow Tag.

Moves: Counter, Mirror Coat, Safe Guard and Destiny Bond.

Other: Wobby has a bit of an over protective tendency and jumps out of his Pokeball whenever he feels that Jun needs him, whether she likes it or not.

Hider

Name: Tauros.

Gender: Male.

Nature: Tauros is a literal bull in a china store. He's easily angered over even the least reason and will cause a ruckus whenever he's in bad temper, which is always. The only times he calms down is when he's eating or when Juno pets it.

Dex Entry: Juno captured Tauros after he fled from a farm and began rampaging the nearby countryside for food and fights. She found him on accident, while she was eating a lunch made by Wobby. Despite Tauros' brute power, Wooby's techique was supperior and allowed Juno to restrain and capture the rampaging bull.

Ability: Anger Point.

Moves: Rage, Take Down, Horn Attack and Giga Impact.

Other: None.
