Looks like both the Drone AI (Tobi) and the new applicant are taking up my original role as the team hacker now . At least we can be spread around on different squads if we need multiple systems cracked

Oh, almost forgot. Another quick question - the gunnery positions on the map I've got are in their own squares. Are they separate rooms, or are those just indicated positions within the main portion of the command deck?

@Azereiah Just indicated positions. Ever play Mass Effect? Well the walkway up to the cockpit was the direct inspiration for that part of the Revenant's layout- a couple of comfortable chairs and gun controls. If not, here's the best picture of it I could find

As for Sombrero's character, yeah, his character is also on the guns. I've had no contact with him at all, I don't even think the guy's been online in a month or so. After the mission, we may just scuttle him off like jordy's character did early on- re-assigned by the Alliance to a 'different mission' of Project Revenant, just to leave the door open for a possible return down the line. For now, we'll keep him around.

@Rultaos Yeah, it seems like it bud, I think we've got more than enough hacking specialists now!

@Zardoric Seems all good to me, only real issue is that we're on a mission currently, so we can't really detour to pick you up, would you mind waiting just a little bit to be brought in?

Oh god, I just realized I forgot to bullshit up a couple of races to inhabit the station, since its Federation-aligned so therefore the few humans on board are only there as slaves. Ok here we go:

Molvina- Short Humanoid species (Average height of 5'0). Pale-green skin, slightly pointed ears, mostly hairless. Hailing from Molus Vagar, a system in Federation space, the Molvina are a technologically-advanced race, noted for their contributions to the Galactic Conclave in areas of medicine, mining, and long-range communication systems. The Helsin Mining Corp was originally founded by the Molvina.

Nurrin- Humanoid serpent species. Tan skin, flat, expressionless faces, completely hairless and quite tall (average height of 6'0). Not particularly intelligent, but physically adept. They excel at physical tasks and warfighting, but they are not a bloodthirsty race. They make up the main labor force of the Helsin station.

We get to the reveal that there actually are a few Federation soldiers on board, along with a garrison of military-level robots. Shit's gonna be nuts. Also, double spoiler- The Planet Cracker is gonna fuck up the system a bit more, we might eventually use that to destroy the station, and the NPCs on the boarding party are going to die. Bet you're glad you clicked on this now huh? But hey, at least I didn't spoil anything important in here right?

right now all Maxi can do is kind of... hide, since he isn't a strong fighter and his medical bot was busted before they even arrived. So he might have to hide in the background and avoid danger, or stick with someone else.

@Azereiah 5'3 ish medic with a scalpel (and a small gun) vs a fully armed, probably 6-7 foot tall robot. I can see this ending not the best for the medic XD

@Crossfire So, um. Do I determine the result of my action myself? It does appear to work differently in different roleplays, but in this case, do I simply decide that I hit flawlessly and I just rely on information the GM provides and assume I can do whatever until the GM says no?

@PlatinumSkink Yeah of course! We have no need of dice rolls or whatever, I trust you all to manage yourselves. Just keep it within the realm of realism, like I'm not gonna have Grayson flawlessly headshot 50 targets in 10 seconds without taking a single notch of damage myself. As long as you don't go overboard, anything you wanna do is fine by me.
