A brief announcement - after thinking it over, I am currently removing all errors from my alterations list save those committed more than once. It makes more sense to punish persistent errors than isolated ones, and this should hopefully prolong your characters' longevity somewhat.

Be warned, I am counting errors made between posters and individual posts. So some accumulation is still to be expected.

A new post will be up early tomorrow.

For a second there I was pretty sure we were going to get right into Act Two without any delays. That second post really caught me off-guard. Thankfully, the contextual reality can accommodate.

@PlatinumSkink, if Amelie survives, you will not have to worry about that edit you made any further.

@Doc Doctor, as the Knight is now sort of facing away from you, do not auto him this time around. Donny is a crack shot, but from his angle firing through the eye slot probably wouldn't score a direct hit on the head. You will have to settle for an impeccably aimed shot to the center of the head's mass instead (if you like), and rest assured I will inform you of the results. The thugs however, are free game.

I think I'm going to try something and see what Terminal responds with. I have a few lives to spare. Of course, if anyone has a brilliant fool-proof idea to save me, I'm not going to object to that either, but otherwise, I plan on doing one hell of a wager that'll definitely kill me. Haha.

... And in the future, let's not resurrect our enemies if we can help it, if someone else has typed that they're neutralized. Hahaha...

Edit: I am somewhat curious as to how I'm lying. Did I fall forwards and it landed on top of me behind me? I was running backwards (not towards the thugs), so logically the bullet would have hit the cloak on my side, and then... I'd have fallen backwards with a tilt, perhaps with just enough force to roll over onto my front, and then it spread to... hm. ... Actually, I need to cut my cloak. I don't have that kind of weapons. Hahaha.

Though, it'd technically still be on me if I'm on my side, it's kind of going around me. Hm.

I don't think there are 2 realities, the reality just changed, as it was mentioned in the post Donny sees the same people he just killed standing next to their corpses and the bullets they fired aren't just hitting the knight, they hit Amelie too.
Like PlatinumSkink said, we are responsible for reading everything carefully, what Terminal posts and what we all post so that we don't have any conflicts that result in the resurrection of enemies or other strange occurrences.

Ok, I'm second guessing my plan to wait until Terminal informs me, because I don't want to risk someone doing something stupid.
@mdk, yours is the character most able to deal with this situation. (Not saying others can't too, just that mdk's character is the one who can understand what is happening to some extent, and thus has the information to formulate a response.) No matter who wants to try though, the clue is the lightning sphere and the lightning rod. Read the description of what the metal stuff is very carefully, then use logic to try and determine an appropriate response based on that information, and why in preparation for this attack someone decided to use something to attract the lightning away from said attack.
And like I said, mdk is the person most able to figure this out in character, so I'd recommend he takes care of this. And I do hope his logic comes up with the right answer, because I'm only able to figure out the equation to the solution, not the solution itself...

I will inform you of what he sees once he starts using ethereal sight again. From the glimpse he caught of their predecessor selves from inside the limousine, they and their weapons appear to be entirely mundane and nonmagical.

With all likelihood, I'd guess what just happened was a penalty and not a clue as to how we could manipulate reality and the way it could potentially be used to our advantage is if we somehow want the penalty for some reason, and we can therefore not use it for purely positive things. ... That'd be my guess. I'm not wagering lives on it yet, but that's my guess. Hm.
