True that it may be hard to resonate, it's still possible, especially when it concerns certain emotions of the Meister (Anger, desperation, etc). But I guess that would depends on the Meister's views. As for leaving the Meister open to attacks, that claim doesn't matter when it's a one on one fight, as the opponent wouldn't really have any other means of attacking unless they had a set of extra knives and was a good shot (And what are the chances of that?).

Look though, I'm all for strong characters, and strong abilities, but I just find it too much at the current state it's in. But like what Green said, it really does matter on the rate of absorption. That's probably the most important part, so maybe give a frame of how much blood is taken per second? Or per minute? Or if it's faster when an enemy is weak, as opposed to an enemy that's at full health status? If I was given that then I'd feel much better about the ability, otherwise I'm going to continue thinking that they can just stab someone and be all like, "lol your dead now." and use that in any fight without any struggles or effort (Unless it's a ranged fighter).

see personally I perfer to play a character who stars weak but Grows throughout the rp, slowly becoming stronger than everyone

I prefer starting off with a character who has a certain set of skills so they won't be entirely defenseless, of course it depends on the age and if I can tie in why they can fight as well as they do within their history and setting of the RP.

Well, it's primarily a soul-siphoning attack, and taking the blood is only a back up. The power of that is dependent upon how strong the enemy's soul is. But it's generally slow for your medium-strength souls, the stronger Kishin. The really strong souls would probably take up to a minute to fully drain, whereas the weak ones would be gone in a matter of seconds.
For the secondary attack, well, I was thinking that, given an amount of approximately 4500 ml of blood, it would take around 45 seconds to fully drain if stabbed in the myocardium. Though, it will be longer if not in the myocardium and rather taking the blood from an artery or vein. It'd probably be near impossible from a capillary. That part depends all on where the opponent is stabbed.
I see this attack as more of a strategic one than a straight offensive one, helping a team of Weapons and Meisters by weakening a stronger opponent. And, do you really think it would be possible for Jacholaus to pull a Soul Resonance attack every single time?

Welp, looks like I'm in the minority of people who don't like it. So I'm just gonna shut up and not speak on it anymore, especially since the GM has final say and already accepted it. I'm not GM or Co-Gm, so I really shouldn't be speaking on it anyways.

Would you like it if we had pre-established histories between meister and weapon? Or is it going to be a thing determined at the school?

If its pre established I imagine the school could be used as a tool to explain how they found one another :D
