My character has been there for his first two years, and he has a record of being a junior competitor so he probably knows anyone who's been there for at least a year.

Figure Rio would have a shallow and professional relationship with Bill - maybe even a bit of an antagonistic one due to getting her ass kicked year one - but I don't know much for Ian. I'm up for ideas, though.

Perhaps but Bill was a back up pilot last year due to his specialization. He's team camp by default now really the only other remaining member has no interest in that role. If you want to have had him beat her, or have fought her last year that's fine with me. @Ammokkx

Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking. Would make sense with how I'm portraying her. Could create a nice character dynamic.

I'm aware. Would make even more sense for her to lose, anyway, since Bill was using a gear and combat style he was very much familiar with.

Sara likes piloting, but this is Sara's first year in the competitive scene, so she'd probably know the other engineers moreso than the other pilots, but they might know of her.

@AmmokkxIt would depend on character preference. Some people just call each other by their first names, others don't.

Eh, most of the people that would know Ian by name would probably just associate him with being passed out in the classroom.

Well they'd know his appearance probably, or at least his last name if they were in the same class since the teacher would pick on him. I'm not sure the lot of us would know him by a personal first name basis.

While we're waiting for peaceless to round out his bio I want to let @Heckno12@Ammokkx@vietmyke know that I have made the first IC post. It's a bit bland but I did my best to try to establish the setting as we're only in school at the moment. Chances are you have either heard about Star's recruitment drive through posters around the campus, word of mouth, or by chance.

Just so you guys know I'm planning a lot of pretty interesting, and possibly bizarre concepts. I may bring in some outside characters for a chapter or two depending on how this game progresses. Can be anyone from pro teams, to Jaden Atlas (Bill's cousin), to former members of the college and so on. I really am hoping this roleplay does well so I can get to those points. Of course those are one off things but there will be plenty of chapters focusing on reoccurring characters. Just because we beat a team doesn't mean they will vanish off the face of the Earth.

@vancexentan Oh I meant to mention something a good while back when elemental weapons and such were brought up. There may not be incendiary rounds or anything, but EMP rounds are mentioned a few times.
