[OOC] Olympus Academy

Also, IF we're taking Percy Jackson into account the Roman Gods were just another iteration of the Greeks. So... Not sure how you want to deal with that! That would mean that they'd probably have their own Camp/Academy somewhere though so you may not want to deal with that and keep them separate.

So far all that we discussed were the following:
- Power struggle between Athena and Zeus. This was Emma's idea due to the history between the two.
- The Titans planning a comeback for another Titanomachy.
- Other factions learning about the above and either teaming with the Titans or trying to do their own thing. By other factions, I mean Roman gods/goddess and Egyptian gods/goddess. If that would even work out.

Well, I have this cool little poem/prophecy I wrote for an rp that never worked out. It centered mostly around demi-gods born and raised stronger than they should have been - and according to the prophecy, they would throw off the balance and become the cause of the future destruction of Olympus and the Gods.

@ViolentViolet She can see a path of victory to anything she wants to win but just because she can see a path to victory doesn't mean she'll win as she can't see the paths to defeat. So let's say, football, capture the flag, wars, etc. She will see a step by step guide on how she can win, if she can win.

Hmmm, what do you propose? Should we keep it separate then? Or maybe have some type of thing where the Greek gods allow a few of those students into the academy, something sort of like a trial basis just to see how it goes? Although, I don't really see why they would do that type of thing, but I'm open to suggestions!

So the Riordan theory in his books is that when the population of the earth expanded, those that worshipped them changed their names and the reason of worship. This is why the Romans seem much more militaristic and it's stated that for example if Zeus changed to his Roman form of Jupiter (they're still the same God) his personality changes to become much more militaristic and warlike to base on where he's located.

So if Zeus as Jupiter had a child they would technically be a 'Child of Jupiter' and not Zeus but would Zeus not be willing to protect them still? If we had something like a catastrophe befall the Roman children they would be forced to the only other safe haven. Olympus Academy.

Would throw in a cool RP aspect since the school itself is smaller this year because of the arguing amongst the clouds in Olympus itself. These Roman kids come in and shake it up!

I'm loving all these amazing ideas. You guys are the best. I swear. Lol. I like that idea...a lot. It'd definitely throw in a cool aspect and allow some of us to have characters that are children of a Roman god or goddess.

@ohsosaiko For those who has a child of Hades, you could have Hades defy the normal law of not seeing your children, since he wouldn't really care anyway and try and have one of his children help him kill Zeus and take over the throne.

I know @DragonKingUk is making an evil Hades character when he's online.

Not super evil, but I do intend for Riddley to act as an antagonist of sorts--fueling the conflict.

@Kidd seeing as how in the Iliad Zeus once said Ares was the god most hateful to him and Enzo would side with his father, I would expect them to side with Athena even though Ares would have a strong rivalry with Athena I think he would also have some begrudging respect for her. He did sire the Amazon's so I'd guess he'd be fond of powerful warrior women.

I could see Enzo having a friendly but very competitive rivalry with Riddley and would side with her and Athena both because of his father and because anyone who's a strong warrior has his respect while he veiws Zeus as a lecherous hump whose blood is clearly never flowing in the direction of his brain.
