Aeris watched as the brunt of his attacks strike against his target to no avail, he knew it was fool hardy to try the same thing again, but with even his strongest attacks not doing any damage, he was out of options. He then saw the barrier come up and heard Julia speak, it was brave and noble, a quality he could respect even from such a small person, but even so he could not help but agree with Ming, the templar turned angel has never left a companion in a bind, he was ready to fight and die beside her.

But before he could speak up, he saw Angela's astral body pass through the barrier, she started to glow and when it was at its brightest she let out so much energy that it redirected the attack away from the rest of the party, her plan was sound and Aeris was more than obliged to help bring down such a formidable abomination.

"God wills it, I shall call upon heavens gates to let the light shine upon us"

His wings spread and he started to incant a prayer to god as his sword and spear started to glow, he flew trying to get the attention of the beast shouting, firing weaker projectiles as if to annoy and poke at it, he was doing what he could for his part, trying to lead its attention away from the other teams, he could only hope that Ryteb would follow his lead as he's noticed that Ryteb held a certain disdain towards him, however he could only hope as he kept flying erratically like a that one would want to swat out of the sky.

The prayer was already starting to do its work as the skies parted once again, starting to shine upon the ground, like before it needed time to fully encapsulate the battlefield and be used to its fullest effect, Aeris was prepared to risk his life to bring the worm down, he believed in his weird assortment of companions even if they weren't all too perfect, he had hope.

As the light of heaven hit her she could feel her strength returning

"Celestia Luner Sorm lend us your aid"

Just as soon as the 3 spirit appeared they took of flying up beside the angle Storm created a number of spheres of highly compressed air swirling around in a huge balls and shot them towards the warm while Luner and Celestia fired beams of light and darkness at the beast all that was left was for Ryuteb to do his part and the plan would be well on its way to the second stage

As Gunter was looking in the battlefield for something of use, he heard Julia's answer. She could have been much shorter about that and just say she can't or that it takes too much time, not have a long-drawn out explanation. Still, with her display of wanting to make a noble sacrifice Gunter couldn't help but be angry about this. "You fucking imbecile! Stop trying to be a hero! The only heroes there are in any world are the ones who have already died, laying down in a pool of blood next to us!" He couldn't help saying this. He's seen too many young ones die because of them trying to play hero. He told them these exact words every time he could, but sometimes it was not enough.

Observing the worm proved his theory correct: not much of his equipment would suffice in destroying the worm. He did not have an anti-tank launcher for one, and two a lot of his equipment was for infantry, with the exception of a few surprises in his grenade bag and his powerful demolition charges. However, as he heard Angela's plan and decided that he might as well go for it. All he said was "I need time to prep everything. Buy it for me and you will have your explosive package."

Gunter ran to find a place to prepare his explosives. Despite Angela saying "anything remotely explosive" he knew that some explosives would contradict each other, and he would need all of his regular ammunition for infantry work should they survive this. Furthermore, some of his grenades would actually cancel out the explosive effects. However, Gunter knew what types he could use. First he began rigging his demolition charges, all 5kg worth, to all explode at the same time. Second, Gunter chose his explosive compounds. Dust Glade was an obvious choice and so was anything that could penetrate armor such as his air grenades. Fire would also work to have a constant effect after the explosion. However, Gunter knew fragmentation grenades was anti-infantry at best and would not work against such a beast, and water ammunition would merely heal it. He had to keep some of his special ammunition for if they got out of this alive, after all, so he did not throw in every single clip of the elemental ammunition that he knew would deal damage, only half.

He also had a very rare surprise for the....thing. He pulled out a gold-colored tipped grenade. It was one of the rarest grenades in Cenith, a Space grenade, and it was only one of two that he had. From what he could understand from the legends, these types of grenades explode into something called "dark matter" and were extremely powerful to even the hardiest of enemies and the thickest of armor. It was rumored to have the capability to destroy even a super-heavy tank...no beyond that. Whatever the legends said, Gunter was about to find out for sure. At this point, Gunter began accepting other explosive material from the others so he could rig it or judge it ineffective as he kept prepping the explosive behind cover.

Petricia watched as Angela saved Julia unimpressed by her attempt to sacrifice herself she then heard Gunter and walked over to add her munitions to the explosives package

"Here this is everything I have"

She handed him all her ammo both normal and dust ammo adding up to a few dozen clips as well as her dust blade

"We can always get more munitions but we won't get a second chance at killing an unkillable monster"

She had sinister grin on her face as she said this looking forward to the inevitable explosion
