I may not bring the Law Enforcers in just yet though as I just realised, considering the worm isn't tamed, it will attack everyone. So they'll show up later.

The Apocalypse worm has the toughest armour in that universe. Nothing can break through it alone and the armour regenerates when it's damaged.

Prepare for a long battle. Cause your going to have to batter that worm as fast as possible and break the armour before it has a chance to regenerate.

Anything about going inside the worm to cut it's internal organs to shreds? It happened in Gears of war, they brought down the worm the same way... With Chainsaws haha! But in all seriousness, would that be an option or would shooting a lance down the length of its inner body work?
