Do it. We already are going to have more collateral damage than what Gunter caused thanks to these enforcer morons attacking in the forest.

On a side note, tactically the situation is dire, but they are trying to protect the tree of life. If we were assholes we can put our backs toward the tree of life and unleash hell upon them without much worry. Some damage to the forest at this point is unavoidable.

EDIT: So in other words, with undoubtable reinforcements coming tactically we have to start dropping them immediately and gang up on them when possible to live.

On a side note, looking up how far a 7.62 round goes and how fast, I found it goes 2,733 ft per second. As the closest round to what Gunter is firing from his rifle in comparison, I feel like the old man unless he has a magic shield is going to be paste unless he is behind some decent cover, and Gunter has about 30 rounds in a magazine with fully automatic capability. If that happens, welp, goodbye Gunter. All would converge on him to kill him without mercy first. After all, we aren't the only ones culture shocked!

What is the caliber of your rifle? Cause it could be closer to 7.92 which is what the mauser used, it has at it's maximum muzzle velocity of 2,881 ft/s.

To put in it perspective, that is .5 miles in one second, and most engagements are quite below that range. In other words, there is no dodging unless you're the flash.
