That reminds me, you might have guessed it from the speech he gave that Batwoman referred to as a mental break down Guardian won't be around for any missions after the defeat of Bane.

I'll have another character. Thinking Catwoman, unless you have reasons. Maybe Huntress, again unless you have reasons. Might go with someone totally different.

Nice! Those 2 are also some great characters.

If a clumsy, still-learning Supergirl ever gets available, I would sure love to rp her too, along side Batwoman of course.

Looking back, the last 4 or 5 IC posts were all made within the last week, we're not dead. Just lost a man or two. Once the new arc starts up I'll make another iCheck. Might not rush into the fight against the League. Specially after the end of this arc. I'd rather another adventure happen than just timeskip two or three weeks into the confrontation with Ra's.

A dozen. I'll make another post with Batman soon to tie some stuff together and close this arc up. Then I need to see about recruiting a couple more peeps to fill the void.

A monstrous roar rang out that shook the dust from the ceiling as he clutched his eyes and his ears flattened to his skull. His tail whipped back and forth, slamming into whatever was closest to him. Barbells bent like grass, goons were sent flying with sickening cracks of broken bones. The wall closest to him was blown out by the long limb as well. If the Guardian didn't get away or block he'd meet the same fate as the goons, sent flying away by the blinded and deafened behemoth.

I went ahead and ended the scene and revealed the last couple of twists going into the next arc: City on Fire. I've gotta recruit a couple more people to fill the open spots, and if anybody wants to change up characters between now and then ya need to start on the CS sooner than later. And for the record no Supergirl's or Amazons on motorcycles. That's not how we do it in Gotham.

I'll have the write up for City on Fire sometime in the next day or two.

Seeing as how 492 just made that moot. Guardian was no longer in control of his own body, Guardian Serum gives him powers but it also let's people from his organization take control. The person that took control don't give two shits about what Batman wants.

Most of the goons were taken out and Batman just entered the fray. It didn't need to drag on another 3-6 posts with the big gun on the scene. Also, "Guardian serum that takes control of the user for the organization funding him" wasn't in the approved CS. You gotta run stuff like that by me. Did you even get into who he was working for? You teased Waller in the CS but never actually got into it in-game.

EDIT: If it was Waller, you would've kinda put me in a corner if I wanted to use the Suicide Squad later on in the story. Especially if you were gonna switch up characters after this arc. Why would she need to inject criminals with nanites to make them do her dirty work if she can just give them Guardian serum and control them from within? If you're trying to do random stuff to add your own twist to the ending you need to run it by me first.

I'm still here but if you don't believe Damocles fits the mold of this roleplay I would be willing to leave in order to make the rp more stable.

We're still gonna need a tech guy next arc. The idea was to keep this one going, let anybody who wants a new character apply with a new CS, and recruit a couple more players.

The next arc will have Bruce Wayne out of Gotham [likely looking for another way to save the boys] while his allies defend the city in his absence. City on Fire refers to a group of people working with Firefly who're targeting specific buildings in Gotham and burning them down. He's also gonna set us up in our own base...
