It's been a busy week. I haven't had time to put anything together

I've basically been stumped on how to proceed, personally, though I have some half-formed ideas in my head... amongst other things, I don't think wooden tables will block exploding bullets. Or regular bullets. How much control do we have over the soldiers, by the by, @Jbcool? That'd help figure out what we can do within one post before we die horribly.

yeah, im kinda in the same boat. A scrawny psyker who has weaker powers cant fight them all off on his own. and i cant see any reason he would be the one to start the battle. other than maybe direct confrontation and panic.

Edit: Sorry, before I write up a post I have to double check for lore sake; Are we up against an Arbites squad or is this an enforcer squad who just so happens to have an Arbitrator leading it? Or is this a proper kill team?

Good questions, and I had considered that...I may make a follow-up post after Bright gets his done, but I'd say that the easiest thing would be to run out the back door and fund a way to escape from there. Although the Arbites (not soldiers, BC) have the place encircled, there are always gaps to be exploited - sewers...back streets...gang turf...etc.

How much control do you have over them? Another good question, and I'd say that as much as you want if it's plausible I.E. Leaping behind the bar and scurrying out the back door while avoiding shots is plausible, running full pelt at an Arbites and surviving/not being arrested is not. Then again, you could just let yourself be arrested...but that's up to you.

Never be afraid to ask questions, I'm all for them, especially if it helps things proceed.

@Jbcool Thank you for the information. I suppose it's also worth asking whether Darran's mods are worth anything at all as far as letting him figure out an escape pattern? They're obviously meant for surgery, not real-life action, but he would have cameras linked to his senses in at least some of his surgery arms, so I wonder if those might be associated with other mods to improve his accuracy or reaction times or something... probably not, when I put it like that, but I'm not precisely sure what a surgeon like Darran would want for surgical improvements anyway other than precision and knowledge.

I mean, I assume he'd have things for a faster thought process, reactions and precision when doing surgery, in which case I believe you could probably get away with reacting quicker than others and being able figure things out?

@Jbcool That sounds great. Maybe vision overlays too, either on the cameras specifically or his own eyes, but those might wind up being surgery-specific. Thank you; that gives me a lot more to work with.

Pfft. They're a gang which a main character is in. Clearly the gang is supposed to take heavy casualties whilst the main character is supposed to utterly wipe the floor with a suposeedly intimidating opponent.

@Ollumhammersong The Skarblades aren't expected to do anything, but bearing in mind that they're not really sure of gang numbers, and have gone into the Underhive tooled up but without much intel, I'd say there's an even chance of either one.

In this case attacking would most certainly end with heavy casualties on both sides, and fleeing would probably be the best bet for the less experienced fighters. Then again, there are other gangs...gangs that may show up if you attack...or may not.

I've left everything so open on purpose, because once folks start making their posts, then I'll start responding to said posts.
