I think I need to stop watching Supernatural. But here's a male seraph, a humanoid celestial being. I don't know if this qualifies, but since I have seen immortal zombies and magic-using devils in Monster Musume (how the hell are they all females?), I think celestial beings are ok. And he's male, so that might be a change in the air. No religious anything intended, I promise.
Name: Azael
Age: Unknown (He is presumed to have lived since the first lives on earth was born)
Species: Seraph (A subspecies of Angels)
Description:
As a seraph, a normal human experiencing his true angel form will result in extreme circumstances, such as temporary blindness, so Azael whenever he goes out to meet with humans, he adopts a human form to himself, a young teenage man with black hair and turquoise eyes, without the appearance of wings. But to several specific species, he can show his true wings without causing any unnecessary fatalities.
Personality:
Determined, yet impulsive, Azael is portraited as a very naive celestial being who has little to none experience with human behavior and mentality such as love or sarcasm, combining with his bluntness, a rarely seen trait among angels, can lead to some humorous or troublesome situation. Despite centuries living on Earth, he rarely interacted with human life, and therefore, his mannerism, his choice of words can be a little bit awkward and outdated, his own sense of humor is dry, and while he can make jokes, he is pretty much incapable of understanding other people's jokes, thus leading to some awkward responses from him. But still, he is still capable of developing affections, both negative and positive, to other beings, and can be kind if people treat him well.
Although he was left by the Gods back when he was still in heaven, Azael still maintained a slight faith that one day he will return to clean up the mess that the angels made during the civil war. He also occasionally have the desire to return to heaven, but that may change soon.
Occupation: Angel of the Gods (formerly), Fallen Angel
History:
The title of Fallen Angel did not actually suit Azael, as he himself did not defy the Gods, but was instead banished during a civil war between the angels.
Not sure when Azael was born, but as an angel of the Gods, it was said that he was present ever since the first mold of life on Earth was created. He was tasked to carry out the order of the Gods, along with many of the angels and seraphims in Heaven. The task wasn't anything particularly dull, but it soon became so when the Gods became increasingly displeased with human's initial acts of discrimination against other species, and to each other. The Gods became less involved in handling with Earth's inhabitants until one day, when he suddenly left, disappeared, vanished without a trace, leaving the governship of Earth to the angels
That course of action caused a civil war between the angels and archangels, leading to a series of banishment from Heavens. Azael, one of those many, for some reason, ended up on Earth in the 16th century, where he continued his life in solitude, due to his immortality and non-aging appearance, which caused the humans at the time to freak out.
His lucky ticket finally came in the 21st century, when the cultural exchange between humans and demi-humans occured, and the planet wide announcement of the existence of supernatural beings. Azael knew it was time to end his lonely life.
