I was more referring to the barrage of magic, which I assumed at least, was mostly unavoidable. Wanted to know if it was of great enough magnitude to require a check, or if it takes something more powerful to trigger it.

Also I would like to know what I would have to roll when I do inevitably get hit, even if it turns out this one doesn't count as grave enough. Obviously I don't really WANT to fall under Madness in a situation like this since it means the only chance of Kintoki retreating once the Masters are safe would be through a Command Spell, but it's still useful to know.

This wouldn't be quite enough to trigger it, I'd think, so no rolls. This is mostly just harmless tickling by Berserker's standards (so only medium-sized flesh wounds lol), though I'd be willing to wager a sane Berserker would be able to dodge a lot of this anyway.

To answer your question, I can really only see ME being triggered by High Thaumaturgy or Servant fights, not spellspam from run-of-the-mill magi.

@Shadow Daedalus You sure you wanna be spending mana like that right now? A Servant's mana doesn't just replenish at the end of the day like a Master's. In fact they only get a few units back each day unless they do a prolonged veg-session with their Master like Waver did with Rider before they fought Gil.

Just asking, is a couple swords meant to kill cannon fodder really worth 3/4 of your mana on day 0?

I'm just wondering if it requires a Noble Phantasm to accomplish, though I suppose he doesn't have the Magus layout for spells which Caster probably should. Right now he can't really use any magic without using his Noble Phantasm which is a pretty big downside for a Caster, didn't notice it until now though.

@Turboshitter Like Meteor said, I have no other options when it comes to attacking. It's not too bad though, considering as long as he doesn't dispel Axios it's not going to go away. The 1500 units of Mana are persistent, and no matter how many constructs he creates or destroys it doesn't use any more than that.

Good to hear. Also, I assume Daedalus is currently using Natural Born Genius to acquire the skill Bravery? Otherwise you'll need to roll.

@1Charak2 Locusta rolls a 4 & 5 for Oath to Empire, granting her a Rank Up in MAG and LCK while following Albert's order. Taking that Rank Up into account, she rolls a 15 on the Luck check for King's Crusade, which is just barely passing now that she has A++ LCK. She is safe from Fear.

@vFear Gerard's roll is 3, a failure, but it doesn't matter because of Unyielding Will. He is safe from Fear.

@KawaiiKyouko Khan's roll is 8. She is now afflicted with Fear, and will suffer a Rank Down in STR and AGL until the end of the battle.

Sorry, I'll be able to post tomorrow. I also plan to use the Saint skill to buff Constantine's weapons and armor. Will his NPs, being sacrements themselves, be buffed? If so, I'll leave it to you to decide the buffs.

@Cu Chulainn@MeteorD Also, I've been thinking. Since Kintoki and Constantine have immunity to King's Crusade based solely on mental instabilities that only activate conditionally (Constantine's dual nature and Kintoki's E-Rank ME), I feel it'd be more appropriate for them to still roll for Fear when under the effects of King's Crusade. Then, if they fail the roll, instead of suffering a Rank Down due to fear, King's Crusade causes their latent conditions to flare up. Constantine would give in to his dual nature to fight the Fear, and Kintoki's Mad Enhancement would activate due to the strong emotional stimulus of Fear.

Does this seem fair to you? Also, no one has come forth with any better ideas for how to implement the Luck checks. While I'm not particularly fond of the method I devised for dealing with it, truth be told, it's all we've got right now and I'd be happy to receive suggestions for a better system.

I don't think Longinus counts as a sacrament in the same way Constantine's weapons and armor do, and I'm not sure how the Saint skill would go about boosting the effectiveness of his helm.
