@Lmpkio

Even if it wasn't a rule, I think asking the Sith Emperor permission to use his Empire is just good sense. I think we all know how he reacts to people usurping his authority.

Oh, it's fine. Valkorion won't like it but he'll "understand".

You do realize that the Eternal Empire and the Galactic Empire are two different empires right? I mean, what's happening within the SWTOR game is basically an AU thanks to Disney, which likely ruined any canon connections Bioware could have made to the main series.

I thought the same on that. Also it really doesn't even matter if they pick the same faction of the same universe in the same timeline as long as their leaders(on the array) are different, because they are now entirely a different entity in themselves. I assume the point of the 'Universe of Origin' part is more for other people to get a baseline of the content we are making our faction from. Since we are allowed to make are own changes in a fictional universe that harbors a bunch of different fiction universes so it could suit the rp.

For example my Tyranid Dominatrix being sentient and making Her own decisions because the Array stopped the Hive Mind from controlling her. All the Tyranids regardless if they are synapse creatures would turn feral since having synapse is just a extension of the Hive mind. So I did my own take on what would happen if a Major Command synapse nid would lose the voice.

and then at the end. If you look in the formatting cheatsheet, there's a link to a site with all the supported colors in it. The cheatsheet is found beneath the reply box.

That rule is mostly in place so that people can't overcut you and mundane your faction. Like someone applying a group of clones from SW that crashed planetside on a ship, and that being someones faction. It prevents someone from applying a random Jedi Master and just taking over your faction with no real justifiable reason to say "no" IC.

Two different empires, from two different timelines, from (Because of disney) two different universes. Quite interesting indeed.

Yeah... that's what I was thinking. The Sith Empire of Zakhull was way back during the Great Galactic War, with Emperor Valkorion dying at 3637 BBY (Before the Battle Of Yavin). The Galactic Empire was formed thousands of years later in 19 BBY. So while technically they are in the same Universe, both Empires are extremely far apart time-wise and different enough to be their own thing...

We also have the whole Disney Charade as well so... I'll have the Empire be mostly Canon, but with some EU items with it just for its sake.

I would pick something a bit more unique the First Order or the Yuzhan Vong, but either we have barely any information about the former or the fact that the latter are OP as hell.

And yet the Yuzhan Vong still ultimately lost.

@Zarkun True, but only through the combined strength of the New Republic and Darth Krayt's empire. They've been known to utterly slaughter force wielders with ease as well.

I would like to thank everyone who had a simple logo for their faction.
This might help a little with letting newer factions pick their locations and make neighbor relations easier than scrolling through all that backlog of location choices.

If i got any wrong feel free to correct me. if you didn't have a logo and i got it wrong, correct that as wel.

Upon seeing everyone else's base, I feel like I picked a pretty defensible position with a mountain in the desert with a river nearby. I'll see everyone coming to get me!

Except those blasted 'Nids but why not be friends?

on the other hand you have the two of the most technologically advanced factions above you (though if the admec is played straight they will probably war with the pyker lead heriteck wielding Vermillion Empire) plus there's another faction probably right next to you one their own mountain (its the shortest straight line distance between any two start locations). also, what are you going to eat in the desert?

Hence why the river being close is good. They can grow food, since Jim and several of the SCV pilots have experience as farmers. And they can hunt for food along and in the river.
