Dorumon looked at the crowd of small In training Digimon. How did get over here translate to get the last thing I need and want right now. Of course then the flood of the little things came and oh good Yggdrasil he was going to kick the kid, especially if he did this on purpose. OH GOOD YGGDRASIL! Dorumon thought to himself as the wave of Digimon hit him. Doru was sent nearly crying with a wave of laughter as the Digimon tormented him though not for long a sharp ping could be heard as a coin collided with the ground and suddenly elongated across the X-axis distracting the the crowd who went to go check it out. Dorumon looked rather surprised, then he turned to his partner who had his hand on his computer watch, breathing heavily. They both slowly got up and brushed themselves off tip toeing their way out and away from them.

"You know magic?" Doru asked Robert.

To which Robert replied.

"Who do I look like Harry Potter? That was just some simple programming."

Doru gave a look of I thought you were supposed to be smart.

"That's basically magic in this world. Since you know, THE WHOLE WORLD IS MADE OF DATA?"

Robert covered his face with his palm. Dorumon looked at the the currently embarrassed Robert. Dorumon asked Robert.

"So you got any other thing you want me to clarify?"

To which Robert responded with.

"One never tell the others about this, two... Is there a Digimon that can heal someone from near death?"

Dorumon's ears perked up from hearing that and worry stabbed his heart.

"Who is going to die?"

Robert pointed to the masked kid.

"His loved one."

Dorumon leaned his head to the side in curiosity.

"Why would you care about that? After all, it doesn't seem that you like Moss head or even know that person."

Robert looked at Dorumon with clear eyes and stance that was prim and proper, different from his usual thug like stance, it was as if he was channeling someone else.

"When someone is in trouble it's common sense to help them and to protect others is the greatest thing we could do."

Dorumon looked at him and remembered that moment where he and His old friend had met.

"Heh, I guess you're right. I don't know the details, but I heard of a Digimon that can heal others and that's about as much as I know."

Robert sighed that he hadn't gotten as much information he would have wanted, but it was a start. Dorumon really didn't know the details, but he at least gotten him a chance.

Phase slid his hand into the hold of his trousers again, the smaller digimon, mostly the round ones had bounced off somewhere else. Their voices were childish, toddler-like. He couldn't imagine those small digimon hoping for a savior, and hated thinking they needed one. Who or what kind of monster was so heartless as to endanger those children. It seemed unfair for such a burden to be dropped on his shoulders, and yet he felt as if he was prepared to carry it.

If nothing else you taught me how to care for others, he thought while aimlessly finding a seat in the cafeteria. Norn was about somewhere he believed, which led him to ponder if she had brought himself and the others here to see the importance of their presence. Well it had worked on him. More than anything he wanted to experience life in Witchelny but now he had a purpose too. Not only would he live but he would protect too.

He felt a hot nudge against his leg. He looked down towards his left femur, only to see a golden furred lion cub. A bushel of red fur sprouted from its head, it oddly intelligent blue eye glanced up at him expectedly. Wait! it only had one eye! The other... the other had been scarred down the middle, rendered blind if not worthless.

Phase's face fluttered with hurt, a pain stunted his breath in his throat. "What?" he asked. "H-How can I help you?"

The little lion sat on its haunches then, twisted his head, and somehow conveyed a smile through its jowls.

An deep yet short intake of breath flooded Phase's lungs, his fist shook and became taunt. "Speak! you can talk can't you?"

Just as Phase's unbidden anger had reached its boiling point, a yellow, cat-like head bounced from behind the lion-cub. Its large orange eyes conveyed the same intelligence as its hiding-spot. "Liollmon can't!" Thick converging ridges above its peepers conveyed a frown. "He lost his eye and his voice fleeing the Gods of Ruin! He helped a lot of us find, Lady Norn! So... So be nice!"

Phase took a moment to compose himself. A cool breath left him. "Did you really, Liollmon?" he asked.

The Digimon nodded once, his unnerving blue eye never leaving Phase.

"That couldn't have been easy for you, Liollmon," said Phase as he knelt down to it. "C-Can... I hug you?"

The lion-cub's eye lit up and it shook its head twice more than before. "Thank you for getting them all here," he praised, wrapping the warm Mon in his arm. From his side-vision he caught the yellow cat staring up at them. "I'm sorry for being bitey, I don't know where it came from. You admire him a bunch don't you?"

"He's my hero," answered her small voice.

Due to the small blob's obvious excitement at meeting a human, combined with the fact it probably didn't understand what was happening, Danny didn't want to tell it to leave him alone. He looked around to see if he could hand it off to someone else, but all the other humans he saw had their hands full already.

Luckily for him a bag worm-like Digimon saw what was going on and decided to help out. "Hey Relemon, Lady Norn wanted to ask you something." The baby Digimon seeing no reason not to believe Minomon jumped out of Danny's arms and bounced over to the servant of Yggdrasil.

After taking a few moment to calm down and dust of stray hairs from the affectionate creature Danny turned to his rescuer, his eyes still red and his nose running. "Thank you."

Kiba Norn Wolfy

Norn walked into the middle of the room with a smile as she watched the humans interact with digimon in such a positive way. She claps her hands in order to get the attention of both the humans and digimon in the room. “Ok everyone please stop what you're doing., I feel like it's time for the humans to meet their partners. Well, the rest of them anyways.” She said as she gesturing to the Dorumon pair. She then turns around and goes through a door leading to the backyard.

“Okie dokie Norn!” Kiba said as he gave one of the in-training digimon one last pat before standing up and entering through the back door. When he stepped through the door he was greeted to the sight of a beautiful garden filled with flowers are trees that all looked like mixtures of other plants and flora put together. Some having strange color schemes while others looking as if it were made of metal. About half way through the walkway stood 4 digimon standing around, one trying to clean up what looked like a potted plant that was attacked by something (Dorumon). “Ah so these are our partners eh? All we gotta do is wave this thingy in front of them and that’ll show us who our partner is right?” He said as he waved said object in the air.

“Correct Kiba. the digivice will react to whichever digimon you are partnered with the same way Roberts digivice reacted to Dorumon.”

“Ah, neat.” He casually said as he waved the device above the orange dinosaurs head, with nothing happening. He repeated this until he got to the white and blue furred digimon. The digivice glowed softly as it heated up, changing its colors from its bland gray to a white and blue digivice. “Hehe, guess that means we’re partners eh? I look forward to working with you buddy” He said holding out his hand.

“... Miss Norn, please tell me this is a mistake. THERE IS NO WAY THIS SOFT LOOKING GUY IS MY PARTNER!” The rookie began to yell. “This is a joke right!?”

“I’m sorry Gabumon, but there is no mistake. Kiba here is indeed your partner.”

“You gotta be kidding me!!!” Gabumon yelled in defeat and he fell to his knees in defeat.

“Ehhh, sorry Wolfy. Looks like you’re stuck with me.” Kiba said with a chuckle as he bent down to pat his shoulder.

“Oi don’t call me that!. My name is Gabumon X you brat.” Gabumon yelled as he pointed his claws at Kiba threateningly.

“Ah ok, My name's Kiba, nice to meet you.” He said as the threat went comepletely over his head and shook Gabumons claw.

Dorumon looked at Gabumon with great sympathy as it seemed that Gabumon got the greatest pain in the ass among the humans as his partner. Gabumon seemed a bit like a hard ass, though he couldn't tell if it was the overly judgemental standards or his way of speaking. Though he can't seem to defeat Kiba's natural airheadedness seriously can he ever communicate properly? Well seeing how his own partner basically just speaks snark as his primary language and another is wearing a mask for no reason, Dorumon came the conclusion that all of all humans are just weird.

Dorumon looked around at the other three Digimon, he could swear that one of them was giving him a dirty look he couldn't imagine why, nope totally couldn't imagine why. Totally not from his plant massacre rampage, definitely not. Dorumon looked to see and odd looking Agumon and bipedal brown insect and a dinosaur like creature in shiny old armor. He had no real clue on who the hell these guys were. Had they come from the outside world like him or were they born here? He had wonder that had they stayed inside the whole time just waiting for the humans to show up and to stay hidden from Tacimon's sight?

A bubble of anger pumped up into Dorumon's chest. Why do they come out now? Why hide here when the outside has turned into a living hell! His thoughts were interrupted when Robert put a hand on his shoulder. Doru looked up at him and then looked down. He didn't like how Robert could see though people, it left someone like him who had a secret uneasy, how the person would eventually find out about him. He didn't like it, but something about him didn't want Robert to know what he did and what he'd think of him if he knew.

Robert decided it was best to leave Dorumon alone to his thoughts, Doru didn't want him to continue digging. It was best when Doru would tell him himself.

Robert looked at the new pair, Gabumon X and Kiba huh? They looked like one of those pairs of the hardworking man and lazy slacker. Of course it would seem that Gabumon had a more violent disposition, to bad that Kiba was too much of an airhead to get most of his threats. Though Robert had to wonder what the color changes were based on? For Kiba it was his based on his partner Digimon's color, but for Robert and Doru it was based on a vision that they shared and there were several color changes before it settled on its current coloring. To be honest it was rather difficult to tell which one was the normal, due to both pairs being... special. Perhaps looking at the other's color changes could clear up the mystery.

Phase let out a hollow breath. It was the first time witnessing such raw emotion. Being lost in his own feelings so often had created a creeping dread in him. One that pounced with serrated claws of callousness. He was satisfied that he could still empathize with others. That was good, he believed wholeheartedly. But it was Norn's clear cutting claps that brought his attention to her. Surely that was the power of being a piece of Yggdrasill. Her claps, over the clamor of the chatter, had still been just as loud as if she was next to him.

Phase stood from his embrace of the two digimon, gave them a short thumbs up, then proceeded to follow the others out. The trees, which were vivid with imagination, all shades of hues and colors; from sunset orange to lilac purple, had hid and barred four especially unique looking digimon. One wore a gray and blue pelt over its shoulders. It looked wild and untamed, even compared to Dorumon. Its horn especially appeared deadly.

Outwardly, Phase maintained his coolness, deciding to move on to the next digimon. That was until a warmth had taken his pocket. Glancing down, he noticed a bright light expanding from it, a shrill sound raping the quiet. As the warmth turned into a burning heat, Phase pulled the Digivice from his pocket and chucked it to the ground. It slid to the Digimon, glowing blindly, until settling on a pounded gold color with the number twenty in bold white on its surface.

One of the Digimon roused, picking it up with clouded gray claws. The Digimon, bi-pedal, and fitted in golden armor stepped towards him.
Phase refused to move, an inkling of a feeling assuring him that this being was his partner. Its white cape settled on the ground once it stopped in front of him. It held the Digivice up to him, nudged it forward once, then a second later, again. "Yours."

Phase stared at it. The Digimon's face created a visage of a golden sword, though its eyes were dyed with blood it seemed. A bloodied blade."I know its mines. Its hot," he told it.

It shook its head slowly, sluggishly, as if pushing a point. "No... I'am yours. My life is yours. I'am your sword, Phase."

Dorumon looked at the golden Digimon and instantly disliked him. He was a solider doing things for the sake of duty not questioning his place in the world and giving up His loyalty to say something like my life is yours to a total stranger you know nothing about! Just because a magic device just said so- but wait wasn't he doing the same thing? He was currently just following Robert around just because his Digivice reacted to him. He was going down the same path as before... The path he had regretted, however, before he could continue this thought Robert asked him.

"That's two mimicking the color sceme of the Digimon, are we just weird the weird ones Doru?"

Doru thought about it for a moment, why were they currently the only ones like that? Doru thought about it for a moment then responded.

"From my point of view all of you are weird."

Robert looked at him for a moment. Then laughed.

"That's certainly true we could start our own freak show huh?"

It was Dorumon's turn to laugh.

"Well it would certainly be the most disorganized one ever."

Doru blinked and looked at Robert. Had they just became best friends in the span of less than an hour? Robert gave a shrug at that statement and then after thinking about it some more nodded to him. Damn, he hated when he read his mind. DAMN, now he was thinking as if he known him for years! Robert grinned at Doru trying his best to face palm which was him trying to hammer down his head as best as he could, but he was unable to reach his small limbs. Robert snickered and asked Doru.

"Need help there?"

Doru looked at Robert with a deadpan expression then told him to shut up. Which got Robert laughing again. To which Doru started to blush in embarrassment. Robert looked at Doru and then started laughing again and Doru... Joined in. For a little while the room was filled with sounds of their joyful laughter. When the pair finally finished Doru was glad that it happened. It was a long time that he laughed like that.

"Thank you. Robert."

Doru told Robert. It was the first time that Doru had used his name.

Before either Danny or the bug Digimon could say anything else, Norn started clapping her hands to get their attention. Apparently their partners weren't at the cafetaria and now it was time to meet them. Unaware that Minomon followed him Danny headed through the door. After a while it became which Digimon was supposed to be his partner, as all the others had already teamed up.

Before he could touch the only remaining Digimon, a giant beetle with flight boosters, with his Digivice the bag worm revealed itself. "Wow, so you and my brother are partners. Cool!" Smiling the beetle bent over to face his sibling. "Hey, Minomon."

The fact that Digimon had families surprised Danny a little. As soon as two siblings had their little moment he pressed the Digivice against his partner's hand or claw or whatever it was. The thin metal device immediately started to get warm, and knowing it would get hot Danny quickly placed it on the grass. After a while it seemed to have settled on two colors, green and yellow, but since he wanted to give it some more time to cool off Danny decided to introduce himself. "My name is Danny and what should I call you?"

Before Hirschmon could say anything Minomon spoke up. "You humans have strange names, Minomon and Hirschmon are much better."

"When these digimon were still eggs, they were given the remaining data of a powerful digimon called Imperialdramon Paladin mode, knowing that his end was near, he put a fraction of his power into multiple digi-eggs. Although one of them was lost when the eggs were being transported here." She said as she gestured to Dorumon. "Although I'm happy you had made it on time to meet your partner" She said to the purple digimon. ""Knowing these digimon were our last hope in our fight against the recent grow of power hungry digimon we tried to find a way for them to become stronger as quickly as possible. The conclusion we found was one told in story books and legends, human tamers. Ones that could use their abilities in order to support and help strengthen their digimon without having to absorb the digi-cores of others. We made preparations immediately, and here you are."

"So please. Take today to get to know your partners and each other as well, for you all will be working together from today onward, Tamers"

As she was beginning to leave and go back into the cafeteria she turned around to face everyone. "Oh I had almost forgotten. Please do not lose your digivices. They are essential for all Tamers to have and are your connection between you and your digimon."

"Oh cool." Kiba said as he looked to Gabumon X. "So how exactly am I gonna be helping you Wolfy?"

Gabumon X scowled at him "I told you not to call me that and I don't NEED any help. So all you need to do is sit back and watch me trash enemies."

Kiba grinned at this "Oh cool. I didn't know you were that strong."

"O-of course I am you idiot. In fact I might be the strongest digimon in the world." He said puffing out his chest with pride.

"Waaah really? That puts me at ease knowing my partner is so reliable" This only inflated Gabumons ego alittle more as he puffed his chest even more(Now looking like a balloon). Kiba chuckled before walking towards the rest of the group. "I guess we should introduce ourselves right? I'm Kiba and this is my partner, Wolfy." He said with a small wave.

"Oi, I JUST told you not to calll me that. I am Gabumoon X. Even just Gabumon is fine!"

Dorumon wasn't quite sure how to feel, back at the village he was the only one that no one could explain were he came from. He just showed up one day as a Digiegg and he had always wondered about that and finding it out now felt empty, he felt like he didn't really deserve to know that. The legendary tamers huh? Human and Digimon fighting together. He remembered that he and his friends favorite tale was of the tales of Tachi and his Digimon Zero. Remembering that tale left a bit hope in his mind, a tamer and his Digimon who took out the 'Super Ultimate', but that hope was quickly crushed when he remembered the power of the army after all how could he forget that... These people were taking things to lightly! Just five pairs up against an army! Even with the power of the Tamers on their side how could they hope to stop that! Strongest? Don't make me laugh! Your not even a speck on their radar! You may as well be wet tissue paper compared to them! They are monsters literally just monsters! After all he had seen it firsthand...

Robert looked at Dorumon and whispered to him.

"It's only impossible, when you don't try."

Doru turned to him about to tell him what he thought about such a cheesy old line, when he saw Robert. It was another person's words, but it was these words that Robert keep dearest to him and he was not about to let anyone disrespect them no matter how cheesy and even if it didn't make sense. It made Doru wonder who it was that taught him that? He didn't ask. He wanted to know, but he was too scared that Robert might ask for his past in exchange. So he just took it with a grain of salt.

"Fine. I guess it won't hurt."

Phase stared at The Golden Digimon. For once he couldn't put two thoughts together. It seemed wrong for anyone or anything to swear fealty so easily without much thought for itself, and yet, this Digimon had. In its ruby-hued eyes, Phase couldn't find even a drop of doubt. Those words weren't taken lightly, neither by it or himself.

I'm at a lost for words, he finally admitted to himself.

He took the Digivice back. Surprisingly it was no longer hot, instead it was warm, like a fresh loaf of bread or cup of coffee. The feeling was pleasant. The Golden Digimon stationed itself beside him, like a bodyguard of sorts. Phase closed his eyes, blinding himself to fantasy, to the promises he had made earlier. He had done this just to see if it was all real or some concoction he had crafted in his sleep. It was a bit late for that; he knew, but it was the final test he could give himself.

When he opened them to see the angelic Norn speaking again, he smiled. Its not a dream. There's no echoes of mind-binding change. All of this... All of this is just as real as myself.

After Norn had finished her speech, Phase gave her a slight wave as if to say thanks. Then he walked off from the others, The Golden Digimon followed. Phase positioned himself against a tree, folded his arms, and spoke aloud to The Digimon. "What's your name, little guy?"

The Golden Digimon stared out at the others, watching them intently. "I'am... not sure."

Phase let out a questioning hm?

"My name... and past is lost to me. All I know is you. Since the moment you've arrived here, I've sensed you. Even caught glances of you. I suppose this means you'll have to give me a name." The Golden Digmon fixed a ruby on him expectedly.

A long pause rested between them, filled only by the talk and chatter of the others. A few seconds later and Phase's head had tilted up towards the sun. It had shone like gold at times to him, so blinding, and yet, he could not sense any warmth radiating from his Golden companion. In fact, he was kind of cold, just like the metal. "How about, Gilt?" he asked.

A kind wind passed through the pair, The Golden Digimon's white mantle was grabbed tenderly. "Gilt," It tested the name on its tongue. "Not bad, Phase. I do believe I enjoy that name. Thank you."

Phase smiled beneath his mask, for he had sensed, if only a bit of warmth in his gratitude. "It was my pleasure."

"Question, will we be joining them?"

"Nah, I don't much like the white-haired kid."

"Ah, Okay."

[Duthguy]

As soon as Norn said how important the Digivices were Danny made sure to check if his had cooled off enough to touch again. He carefully pressed his finger against the now two colored machine and noticed it had cooled down significantly, so he picked it up wanting to check out the functions it had. Being curious Minomon had gotten his brother to lift him up so he could see what Danny was doing. "So do you have any siblings?" Hirschmon asked his new partner. "No, I'm an only child."

"Ah I see, technically Minomon and I aren't related either, but we both belong to the Jungle Troopers Family and so he has decided to call me his brother." Danny didn't really understand what the Jungle Troopers Family thing meant but he guessed it was something like how all cats belonged to the Felidae family.

Just as he was about to ask the brownhaired kid came up with a good idea and introduced both himself and his new partner. Seeing no reason not to go along with it Danny decided to do the same. "Well nice to meet you, I'm Danny and this is my partner Hirschmon along with Mino..." "His younger brother Minomon." The larva Digimon interrupted.

Kiba Wolfy

Kiba stood there with his hand in the air as the others in their group didn't respond to him.

“... rude.” Wolfy said bluntly

“Um, it's probably fine. We can all get to know each other later … probably.” Kiba said with a nervous smile. “Welp since we have the rest of the day off, let's play!” He said as he grabbed Wolfy and dragged him back into the cafeteria where all the digimon were. Immediately himself and Wolfy were rushed by a flood of in training Digimon. Kiba grabbed a couple and began tossing them in the air and catching them while Wolfy was constantly getting piled on.

“Oi get off me you brats!!!” He managed to let out as he escaped their grasp, only before getting dog piled again.

“Wolfy look! This little fella also has a horn just like you! And this one's floating! And this one is just a black blob!” He chuckled.

“Like I care!” He said before the three joined the dog pile.

The cafeteria was a buzz. Digimon celebrating left and right about their new Human saviors. A pair of human like digimon and another warrior like digimon, Sistermon Blanc, Noir and Dinohumon, came out of the kitchen with Norn carrying plates of food for everyone.

All the digimon laughed and played as the day turned to evening.

“And then the fire nation attacked.” Kiba said randomly.

“Huh?” Wolfy asked as he bit into a piece of meat.

“Oh nothing, just a joke from the human world.” Kiba explained as he took a sip of his drink (he has no idea what it is, only knowing its both green and sweet) “Although I don’t know why but I keep thinking something feels … off.”

“Wow, didn’t know you could think.” Wolfy said in amusement.

“Haha, I have my moments.” He said not catching the insult. “But seriously, I feel like something is definitely wrong.”

“Oi, nothing’s gonna happen. Listen, we’re in Nyttliv, the place is covered head to toe in spam data in order to hide us. So unless some random digimon just wandered around into here there is no way, I repeat, no way anyone will -” And cue the explosion in the background.

Everyone in the cafeteria went silent at the noise before a wave of panic swept the room. The Sistermon began moving the other digimon out and away into the castle the party had started in while Dinohuman began running towards the noise. Some of the other Tamers and their partners already leaving.

"... Don't say it."

"I-"

"Don't!!!" He yelled with a glare. “Lets go.” Wolfy said as he rushed outside.

“W-wait for me!” Kiba said as he tried to catch up.

Robert with Doru close behind him hearing the explosion ran towards the hallway that Norn had lead them though. Robert and Doru looked out the window and saw though the window a giant red bipedal stag beetle was making a mess around the court yard. Dorumon doubted this was a member of the army... Wait Dorumon realized how this ugly red bugger got here. It must have followed Dorumon though forest and was looking for digicores to devour, this was all his fault.. again it was-

Dorumon's thoughts were interrupted by a sharp crash, it wasn't the Kuwagamon though, it was Robert smashing though the glass. Robert jump though the window and hacked a part of the ground under Kuwagamon causing the floor to elongate and hit the Adult Digimon in the lower jaw to which it lead out a loud angry roar. It was dazed for a moment and Robert started to run towards the left hoping to get it away from the buildings of course when the Kuwagamon noticed, it was not having any of that. It opened up the shell on it's back a loud buzzing noise would fill the air as the large red insect prepared to strike. It yelled out in a loud raspy voice.

[Power Gullitine!]

But, Doru was not having any of that.

[Dash metal!]

Doru jumped over the window frame and fired a metal sphere from it's mouth which landed a direct hit into the head of the charging Kuwagamon. The cannonball caused Kuwagamon to veer off course and crash into the building, barely missing Robert. Doru managed to ran all the way up to Robert, but before he could call him out on his recklessness Kuwagamon's claw came out and swiped at him. Luckily Robert managed to react in time and grabbed Dorumon and dived with the claw barely missing the two of them. Dorumon looked at the Kuwagamon that was slowly getting up.

"Oh for crying out loud, can't he just stay down!?"

Dorumon cried out. Robert looked at the Kuwagamon and had a hypothesis.

"Dorumon, I think that know a weak spot. That shell on it's back seems to protect it so the armour under that should be weaker than the front we need it to do that charging attack and stike it from the back, there was a few seconds where it was preparing the attack, so that should give us a window of opportunity to strike."

They both knew it was easier said then done. The Kuwagamon specs outclassed Dorumon's own. It was stronger, but more importantly thanks to his wings, faster than them and even if they got it square on the back there a chance that they wouldn't be able to take it down in one go. As, much as they didn't want to admit, they need more people to take it down.

Phase and Gilt lounged in their silence. Though it was neither uncomfortable or pressured, Phase believed. It was almost as if it wasn't there at all. He pondered about what it could be beside silence. In that space devoid of conversation or urgency was a natural backdrop. The sultry whisper of the wind had dominated the others in intervals, while the thought-provoking sounds of play and laughter was a welcomed constant. It was perfect for drowning out the guilty thoughts that never left him.

Gilt stirred suddenly, though it was small and nearly unnoticed. He looked up and westerly, towards a clear blue sky. Seeing something that Phase couldn't. A moment passed and for some reason, his docile eyes went feral.

"Gilt?"

He growled horribly, with each passing moment it grew deeper, fiercer. "I. AM. THE TWENTIEST!" he bellowed, causing the air to break around them.

Then he took off with a mighty lunge. Phase didn't need any incentive to follow; if Gilt would swear fealty to him, then the least he could do was trust and protect him... from anything, including himself.

First Sortie!

Gilt was dashing ahead, rampaging forward with little sign of control. The number twenty on its bladed-horn was shining terribly. Phase was lost now, after leaping over a few walls trying to keep close to Gilt. But now Gilt was slowing, stopping at the ledge of a sturdy rooftop. Phase slowed to a stop, watching his Digimon search frantically for a way down. "Gilt, what are you doing?"

An annoyingly loud buzzing nearly drowned his question out.

"Looking," he said.

"For what?" he asked calmly.

"For a way to get you down safely."

[Power Guillotine!] Phase and Gilt snapped their attention to the sky as a crimson beetle dove towards something. It was huge and Phase hadn't know how he had missed it before.

[Dash Metal!]

Those words were filled with an unnatural type of power. Almost like Norn's clap. It drew there attention. Phase ran over to the ledge now, his face, behind the mask crunched with worry. "Was that the reason why you went all crazy eyes?"

Gilt gritted its teeth furiously. "Yea, give me the order to eradicate," he demanded.

"Okay, go get 'em, Gilt!" Phase stood on the ledge, overlooking the scene from eyeholes of his mask.

Gilt lunged several meters into the air, above the white-haired kid and Dorumon, above the crimson Digimon even. With a twirl, he redirected himself towards it, pointed his body downwards like a javelin, and jetted for the beetle. [Twenty Dive!!!] Its sharp horn pierced its carapace, plunging itself into its back. A moment later and Gilt was dislodging himself for the thrashing Digimon.

"I'm coming, Gilt! Be careful!" shouted Phase as he vaulted over the rail-guard of the roof and dropped down the short yet daunting height onto the battlefield.

The Kuwagamon swiped at Gilt and screamed out in pain, while Glit had done some damage, it was still an Adult and it wasn't going to go down that easily. The Kuwagamon realized it's weak point and wouldn't likely let him use it again. It decided to turn his back at the building behind him, not allowing them to reach it. Robert realized that this was a Digimon like the others and thus could think at the level of humans and the had experience that came from taking digicores to digivolve into that level. They need a plan and considering that the Golden Digimon was here. Robert sighed as he heard a thud as the masked kid landed behind him. He really didn't want it to be him, but he had no other option right now. Seriously couldn't have been Kiba or some else!?

"Listen, mosshead. I don't like you and you don't like me, but we need to work together right now."

Dorumon looked at the Kuwagamon that was facing them with it's back behind turned to the wall. It was baiting them, it was waiting for them to charge at it and be hit by it's various arms. He didn't like both of them either, but beggars, can't be choosers. They had to work together, he just had to wonder if the other pair felt the same.

Phase strolled up next to the white-haired kid, neither offering a response or a rejection; instead he nodded once. He wasn't foolish enough to risk all of those he had vowed to protect over some squabble. A hand found its place his pocket, as if signifying, to himself atleast, the transformation from Nowe to Phase the Tamer.

A second later and Gilt was landing beside Dorumon. He glanced over at Phase, his eyes still feral, the twenty on his blade-horn still shining. "I can hurt him. His shell is hardly a match for my sharp edge. I'am the Twentiest."

Phase wondered that meant until a gust of air had thrusted itself towards him. The beetle's wing were fluttering impossibly quick, generating its own pressure. "The others will be here soon. If you're too scared, me and Gilt can hold him off till they arrive. Or do you think your words are sharper than your blows." he teased.

[Shiyonichi]

"Don't bother running at him, he placed himself in a position to get ready for our attacks. He has the greater reach with his arms he'll you first before you can hit him, even with the others he still got the high ground and now he's expecting backup to come." Doru said with confidence that canoe from a veteran of various battles. "Luckily he doesn't seem to have any projec-"

Before Doru could finish that statement, a large crash could be heard overhead. The Kuwagamon had picked up a piece of rubble and thrown it at them barely missing them and almost taking their heads with it.

"Never mind he has a projectile attack." Doru deadpanned.

Robert interrupted.

"So to sum it up we need to take him out of that position before he squashes us with rubble. I've got a plan for that, Moss-head I need you and your Digimon to distract him, me and Doru will run into the building and bust down the wall that he is standing before using our greater destructive force, he'll expect an attack from the front, but not from the back we should be able to send him flying forward and give an opening. If you don't want to do you can always run away and we can hold them off until the others arrive. Or do you think your anger issues are made of diamonds?" He teased.

Gilt dodged the boulder, enduring the annoyance of the rubble bouncing off of his golden armor. He lowered himself a bit, keeping his eyes on the red beetle before speaking out to Dorumon. "None of that matters. If I can strike him, I can hurt him. There's two of us, you should be capable of distracting him long enough for me pounce. After all, your attacks will only bounce of his hard shell. Mines will sunder it in two."

Phase shook his head slowly, denouncing the plan the white-haired kid had come up with. "That's not going to work. You think he won't notice you're disappearance? he's on high alert for the four of us. Besides, you've seen what your attacks do, nothing. Let me and Gilt spearhead this assault."

"You and Dorumon don't have the tools for this fight." he told him bluntly.

Gilt dashed backwards from incoming attack, scooping Phase up as a larger boulder came crashing down on the area. For a moment the two of them floated in the sky, Phase analyzed the crimson bug from far-up before gravity took over. He was bleeding data from that wound Gilt had inflicted, nothing crucial but perhaps... perhaps the white-haired kid and Dorumon could take advantage of that.

"Should I point out you two don't have the range to hit him, either." Robert said as he and Doru dashed towards the side. "And we can't really cover you if our blows deal no damage." Robert looked though the arms of the Kuwagamon and saw the wound. With Dorumon's range they could definitely break though that and give a fatal injury, however, they couldn't pass though the arms, unless...

"This is going to sound really stupid, but I need you to rush forward in there recklessly."

Robert hacked the floor raising it to provide cover.

"Doru will blast away the rubble out of the air and get you in range and when he tries to strike at you Doru will blast at his wound."
