Lol. I think my had made me shorter as I gained Traveler key word. I like my hat though :)
And my slightly silly gear list... But I will kill somthing or heal. I have bandages this time. They proved useful last time.

What does it do?
Or just let's me ride invertebrates and wear cool ponchos.

In theory... But you'd have all hats and only fists. But you could have a poncho over a duster etx?

I have a hat, and 3 in guns. So I got room for a jacket and maybe if luxurious a pistol or double barrel shortty.

@PrinceAlexus Actually, to take a look at your earlier query, you could have also gotten the Traveller keyword from the sheriff's office, the Bounty Hunter's badge, which gives all heroes the ability to regen 1 determination. But yeah, you can get a poncho, the black duster, the Feathered and Indian Hatchets, and you can get a harmonica for a Sanity boost.

Each Hero has 1 Personal Item

Each Hero has 2 Hand Slots (equip 2 one handed items or one two handed item. You can carry extra items (e.g. pistols and shotgun) but you must declare which you are using during a turn.)

Each Hero has a carry weight limit of 5 + strength modifier.

Each Hero is limited to equipping one clothing item per slot (e.g 1 hat, 1 torso, 1 shoulders, 1 gloves, 1 coat ect) Again, you can carry extra, and equip swap if you need to.

I'll be honest I haven't doublechecked equipiment for that sort of thing yet ()=D

Oh well. Then id of not got my special ammo, and thr supply of medical and offensive Explosives. I'm happy with my haul. I can always get one later in another town.

I Don, t mind. It's not like I'm trying to min max him into a broken ly powerful character.

@PrinceAlexus There will be plenty of oppurtunities to get all sorts of cool things :D After all, never know when you might find artefact or gear on a mission. There's alot of unique items out there that can't be purchased in town.

I feel awkward pinging everyone since I'm about to ping out mission start and I'm selfconscious that I always over-pinging people for a silly forum game @_@ Annnyway....

Been updating some things as I go when I've noticed them, but here's a list of changes that have been rolled out or that will be implemented at some point.

Update on Preachers - corruption rolls @PrinceAlexus@rocketrobie2 in particular
• Noticed when Flabnose the Turtleneck was created that the other Pastors have a fairly big error on their character sheet. When a Preacher casts a spell that can incur corruption damage, this only happens if they roll doubles. If they roll doubles, they take Corruption Hits equal to the number they rolled on the dice. These hits can still be blocked by Willpower.

Update on how Darkstone is carried
• I pretty much do this every game so I'm not surprised this happened xD Darkstone tokens don't go into your sidebag, you just carry them in your inventory as normal. So you should find them at the top of your inventory now.
(I always do this - the darkstone tokens in the game are the same as the Sidebag tokens. I usually notice when somebody hits their Sidebag Cap - if no one has already correctd it at start - which happened when Scare, the Law Holder received 3 darkstone.

Update on rolling movement with determination
• From now on, when spending a Determination on movement, you get a bonus 1d6 of movement on top of what you have already rolled. Potentially you could move up to twelve movement now, if you spent Determination on it. Good if you need to catch up or run away. Basically, you now have better manouverability.

Visual update for Defend the Bridge ooh so shiny what is this???
• Since Defend the Bridge is a fixed map, I've been working on improving the quality of the graphics a little since it was confirmed.
Eventually I plan on rolling out a visual update on all the maps, though it is a little harder for missions that pick map tiles randomly, so that's still a while away.
At some point I plan to change the way I draw the maps to make them more consistant, but I have a few other visual things I want to work on first... ;)
In the meantime, consider Defend the Bridge to be a bit of a teaser.

Misprint on Scare's ability - this has been there for like a year lol
• His ability is called "Hardened Resolve" not "Quick and the Dead"

Hawkeye Harold's sprite never got updated??? Now he has eyes

Cancel growing dread
• The Posse may cancel a Growing Dread card, when it is inactive or active, if every party member pays 1 Determination to do so.


Anyway, that stuff has been bugging me. Glad to get it off my chest, launching new mission starts shortly. Aaron Goldfeld and Dan's updated sprites are underway.

That frees up some ability then in thr maybe use category.
However damage sheild and heal are pretty useful!

You stand at the entrance to the Mine, taking in the faces - some new, some old, some battle hardened. These will be your allies in the coming trials ahead, as you venture into the unknown lands of another world... Or at least, that's the plan. You look down at the idol in your hands and recall your mission.

- Find a Portal to the Otherworld, Swamps of Jargano.
- Return the Idol to it's rightful resting place in the Burial Ground it was stolen from.


Aaron Goldfeld offers to carry the lantern and Fear bravely risks carrying the Idol itself, seemingly unphased by the strange evil eminating from it. Pastor Jimmy takes the Old Map the prospector gave you, and the six of you head into the mine.

Those of you with some adventuring under your belt have a bad feeling that things will be harder from here on out.


Round 1


The Darkness Stirrs!

Actions:
New Players, feel free to ask if you are unsure of anything.
You may always move if you have movement available.
Preachers may heal with spells. Saloon Girls and Piano Players may heal adjacent characters passively.
You may use your items and abilities in appropriate context.
You may choose to SCAVENGE or EXPLORE THE MINE. You may perform one of these actions once per round.
>SCAVENGE: Each map tile can only be scavenged once total. This means if another party member has scavenged the tile you are on, it cannot be scavenged again. Scavenging successfully can yield up to three results. If you scavenge, you cannot explore the mine this round.
>EXPLORE THE MINE: At the end of each map tile is an arrow. When standing on this arrow, you may explore into the next room, if you have not done another action this turn. You will immediately see the layout of the next room. If you explore, at the end of the round, a discovery will be revealed... aka what is in that room.
Note: The "arrow" map tiles count effects from both rooms.
