In this RP, the Pokemon can retain all of the moves they have ever learned. They don't forget them. It's just that when you go to battle in Pokemon Showdown, you have to pick four.

I may consider its healing factor in RP battles. It's main purpose is for Showdown though. You'll use it in Showdown when battling your rival or any important characters that I control (like gym leaders and other powerful trainers). Just make sure it's equipped to Chimchar, unless you move it to a different Pokemon through an IC post.

Btw guys, check out the 1st OOC post again, specifically the section on battles. None of the mechanics have changed, but there are some extra details there you might like.

Along those same lines, you can take another look at Professor Eugene's character sheet. He has Pokemon now. When you get stronger, you may want to battle him for fun. Every NPC that I put in that post will have Pokemon from now on, and you are able to schedule battles with them.
