924 KC - Nobility of Aucaetol crushed. The King of Aucaetol demolishes the monarchy and delegates power to the Church of Bale. He is known as the Master of the Maze.
918 KC - Gracian War of Independence. Cadet branch of the House of Wend ruling in Grace - bitter rivals of Arcwen.
631 KC - Mirathi Migration into Kingdom of Santagar. The Mirathi Invasion forces them to their island hold of Tywyn. They form the League of Santagar. Instability in Ostruan.
200 KC - The Kingdom of Santagar becomes a great power, controlling vast swathes of Ostruan.
0 KC - First signs of tribes forming kingdoms within the Irdines and Ostruan.
Religions;
Church of Bale; the religion of Aucaetol. They worship a death god named Bale. He is the god of fate, life and justice.
Church of Kellan; the religion of Arcwen, Ystad, the Borderlands, Middelcove, Pontkellan, Ipras, Doventh and the Ring Cities. Saints, virtues, sins. Worship of Saint Kellan, a Knight of the Lake who was said to have led the early settlers of the Irdines through the Eastern Fold.
The Mirathi Idols; Santagarians call them stolen idols. When the godless Mirathi invaded their lands, they took their idols for their own and began worshipping them in twisted ways, turning their valor into wickedness. Their idols are Napur, the conqueror; Falun, the whisperer and Kaen, the leech. It is a decentralized religion.
The Santagarian Idols; Original believers of idols and mythical people, the Santagarians worship the idols of Tywyn, the Valorous; Virmast, the Sailor; Solield, the Builder, and Maul, the Warrior. They have named many of their cities after their idols. Instead of smaller shrines, they dedicate entire cities to these saintly figures.

Kingdom of Arcwen (Open)
Summary: Dynastic feud with Grace, intermarrying with Ystad, former hegemons of the Irdines.

Kingdom of Ystad (Open)
Summary: Recently declared a Free-King. They venerate their first King, Vihtori. A prosperous trading port in the Northlands.

Duchy of Marsiege in the Borderlands (Taken)
Summary: Border prince among three others; Pyre, Troyes and Antibes. Squabbling for power and unity within the Borderlands.

Doventh Republic (Taken)
Summary: Center of learning, progress and education. Lords in North send their young ones to learn in the republic. Dislikes Ipras, being rivals.

The Ring Cities (Taken)
Summary: Collection of cities - Tide, Seill and Plume. It is a merchant and bureaucrat powerhouse, controlling many of the straits into the Eastern Fold from the north. It is a rich region, led by a Lord-Protector chosen from amongst the most prosperous families in Tide, Seill and Plume.

Estates of Pontkellan (Taken)
Summary: Led by the Lord-Vicar, head of the Church of Kellan. Major political entity in Kellanite nations, with much influence for those who respect the religion. Borders Ipras and Doventh. A weak but politically strong country with religious powers over half the world.

Kingdom of Grace (Open)
Summary: Recently won a War of Independence from Arcwen. Led by a cadet branch of the House of Wend (the ruling dynasty of Arcwen), Grace and Arcwen are related rivals that want to claim each other's lands and forge a family empire. They are very militaristic, Arcwen known for her longbows and Grace her knights.

Kingdom of Ipras (Open)
Summary: The Iprasians are said to have started the Iron Age with their smithies hard at work and their advancements made early on in technology. They are a very sea-based nation with friendly ties to Santagar. They've only recently adapted the Kellanite religion. They started out as a colony of Santagar in the Antiquity.

League of Santagar (Taken)
Summary: The Mirathi hordes came rampaging from the Southlands, pillaging and conquering wherever they found opportunity to do so. Eventually, the Mirathi war led to the Santagarians fleeing in defeat to their island hold of Tywyn, They formed a defensive league to one day retake their homeland and push the Mirathi hordes back whence they came.

Empire of Mirath (Taken)
Summary: Invaders from the foreign, hot south, the Mirathi were quick to settle into their new home carved from the partitioning of Santagar. They declared themselves Emperors and built a grand city out of the shell of the former capitol of Santagar, Sares. Over its shanty ruins now sits the palace of the Emperor of Mirath.

Kingdom of Aucaetol (Taken)
Summary: Though still considered a kingdom by the world, Aucaetol has done well to throw away its feudal, aristocratic lifestyle and adopt a more central government relative to the Church of Bale and the Master of the Maze. They are a mysterious and occult nation that many do not trust. With closed borders for so many years, they've recently re-opened them.

Principality of Middelcove (Open)
Summary: Independent Prince that was conquered by the expanding Santagarians in their short bout of prosperity as an autonomous state. After the Mirathi invasion, however, they once again declared their freedom and sovereignty, and have prospered as a rich trading port and melting pot of autocracy and gentry.
