I mean, can you even call it a win when it's one vote each? *tilt head* I'm tempted to try to drag people over here, but that'd look a lot like gunning for popularity. It's also awkward when one out of two/three voters couldn't even consider their own work (I mean, obviously I get why, but it's still unfair to them).

@shylarah Unfortunately the only thing each of us gets to decide is if we're voting or not. if only two people vote, than only two people vote. Last contest only got a trivial three votes.

And obviously this is more up to the organizers than me, but if only one of the six contestants votes, all contestant votes should be stricken from the voting pool. but I'm sure Frizan has an idea.

@AngelofOctober OH hello. I was reading through things again. You're a professional editor? That's super impressive. I lack the self-discipline for it. I get attached to my own writing, and I'm too busy enjoying the story with someone else's. <3

Yep, I am. As a writer I feel that a successful one, a successful author is one who takes the time to analyze other work and just as much their own work as well. Anyone not willing to see where their flaws lie or not willing to acknowledge them, is not necessarily to me a successful writer. I feel part of writing is part editing. People should be self critical. That's nothing against you, fyi. Simply when people give me criticism I look into my writing and assess the criticism to see if it is fair or not.

@AngelofOctober Oh definitely. And I can, and do. But the sort of reworking that goes into professionally edited and published works gives me chills. In the end, I write for fun and enjoyment.

I apologize for my lack of punctuality and because of it, my inability to write up reviews for the entries at this time. I would like to after I sleep if at all possible but for now my vote goes to: We Don't Say Goodbye.
