She came back with a plate of shrimp and a glass of bloodwine.

Elizabeth sighed. she decided to throw him off as payback.
"when are you proposing?"

James waited for kali with Emma watching closely. He looked at kali when she returned.

Kali looked at him "look i still have all my fingers and toes" she giggles "the buffet didn't bite me" she teased him.

He smiled "i already did and you accepted" he winked at her. "but to make it official it wont be long" he says "i have to meet with your father first, formalities" he told her

James rolled his eyes.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

"what?" she says "were you expecting something to happen to me while i was getting food?" she asked him and then looked to Emma.

he smiled at her "words Liz not eye rolls" he says to her "your eager to marry me?" he asked her

James rolled his eyes and chuckled slightly.

Elizabeth suddenly covered his mouth with her hand. She actually smirked.

she laughed "your adorable" she told him. "what some?" she asked James she slide her plate over so he could reach the shrimp.

He started laughing. he mumbled against her hand. he licked her palm. he knew with that smile she was. it would steal her away and marry her tomorrow.

James shrugged and took a bite.

Elizabeth gave a grossed out look and wiped off her hand.

he laughed "thats the reaction i was hoping you have" he says "so you are eager to marry me?" he asked her.

she looked at Emma "so tell me more about you and James" she says to her.

Elizabeth took out a piece of cloth and tied it around brandons' head, turning it into a gag. she smirked.

James blinked. He gave his mother the 'don't you dare' look.
Emma chuckled a bit.
"He used to wet the bed when he was six."

James turned red.
"mother!"
Emma chuckled.

he chuckled and untied it "what was that for?" he says "thats something we can do in the bedroom, didnt know you were that kinky" he had a devilish grin.

Kali held in a chuckle and hid a smile. "awe" she says. "did play in the tub with a girl when he was 2 as well?" she asked teasing him.

Elizabeth snatched the cloth and stuffed it into his mouth.
"shut up."

Emma shook her head no.
"He was always an only child."

James sighed.

she nodded "yeah he told me he was an only child" she says to him "besides brandon, i have 10 other siblings" she says "Brandon is the only one im close too" she told her.

he smiled and took the cloth out of his mouth. "then change the subject" he smiled

Elizabeth smirked. She shifted into a cheetah and ran off.

James sighed.
Emma nodded.
"James often kept himself isolated as a child. He didn't really have any friends."

Brandon watched as she ran off and he sighed. he couldnt go after her but he did stand up and excuse himself from the table and went in the general direction of where she went. He stood where he could still keep an eye on his sister.

A young gentleman came up to the table. he was bold as he was watching Kali the past hour. "excuse me miss" he says not paying attention to James "would you like to dance?" he asked her.

Kali look dumbfounded. the young man was offering his hand to her, but wasn't sure if she should take it or not. she felt her heart rate kick up. she thought about it. it was just dancing right, no harm in it. She hesitated.

James sighed. He placed a hand on kalis' shoulder.
"I'm right here. just call me if there is trouble. i'll be there in a heartbeat if you need me."
he gave her a smile.

Elizabeth ran back, looking unhappy. She changed back. A male goblin came up to Elizabeth and kissed her hand, asking to court her. She gasped.

Kali looked at james "you allow me?" she asked then looked at the guy. he flashed her a nice smile and winked at her "so miss shall we?" Kali bit her lip. "umm, okay" she says and takes his hand and stands up. she looks at James as the man walked her to the dance floor.

Brandon walked up behind her and put his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek. "she is already being courted" he told the goblin. "go annoy someone else" he said

James stood up.
"it is up to you. I do not wish to keep you in a guilded cage. I love you. I want you to have fun, to be happy."
He was actually hesitant to let her go. it was on his face.

the goblin growled and tried to grab her hand again.
Elizabeth immediately wrapped her arms around brandon.

he smiled "i think the lady made her choice" he flashed his fangs. "im hungry and i dont care what you are, i will take your blood if i have too" he said to the goblin.

she looks at James and then Emma. she frowned a little. the guy put her arm around her waist and took her other one and began dancing with her. She had a fake smile on her face. she was being polite. She did enjoy dancing though even though she wasn't good at it. she liked the feeling of float across the floor. the guy was talking to her as he danced asking her questions about herself. She politely answered them. She glanced over to James and emma again as she came back around to that side of the room.

James sighed. He saw how unhappy he was.

"go to her already!"
Emma hissed at her son.

James cleared his throat and went to them.
"excuse me, may I cut in?"

Elizabeth nodded.
The goblin huffed, unconvinced.
